Finally, something new about the Star Wars universe. Finally. 

This is a spin-off of the Clone Wars animated series. And specifically a spin-off about one of the universe's favorite characters.The biggest spoiler is that the character survived. As we remember, he was killed by Obi-Wan. But, spoiler alert, he's still going to die from it. It's interesting, however, to find out what the character was doing while the events of the story were happening.This is Darth Maul. 

He is looking for a way to take revenge on Palpatine for his betrayal. And he's a criminal himself. But it has a whole grouping. He also finds a Jedi and wants to join forces with her against the local Sith. Supposedly a villain. But even then it was revealed from the good side. He's a pretty smart and wise character. And understands the sides. That is why the tandem of Sith and Jedi, unique to the universe, is here because they find a common goal.The picture has also changed. 

She became darker, noirier and neon. And I wasn't ashamed to show cruelty, but projects are almost always for everyone.

The star of Romulus and the Long Walk has found himself another good movie.

An English film about a guy who is almost out of prison, but they put a rather unusual cellmate in his cell.

First of all, I would like to note that this is not the first and not the last film about prison, and as I understand it, you can already sum up a whole subgenre. And again, we have a tense film in front of us. 

The hero tolerates a lot at any cost and tries to at least make friends with similar personalities. But any step and you're already here for life. In places, the hero is dumb, but still endearing. So I really want to wait in order to understand whether the hero has succeeded or not.

Last year, I wrote about a series with Quollie where she survived with a child and found a bad job. 

So this is almost the same thing.But the key word is almost. This is more of a youth thing. The main character follows in the footsteps of a super sexy woman and begins to lead an online video. If there was drama and heaviness of the heroine in that series, then this is not enough here at all. But Fanning is very fond of undressing. 

She's the one with the advantages, because she's still great as an actress. I hope there will be better development in the future.

Ann and the horror? It sounds interesting. 

The film was poorly advertised. But they released an album. And that's what happened.

A little bit of Suspiria with the mystery of witches, a little Possessed where there is a certain spirit nearby. It's also a musical with beautiful music and staging, and of course horror. The latter is responsible for folk horror and atmosphere. 

Ann is the best thing here. It just glitters. But it's hard to recommend a movie. This is a banal movie about obsession with business, mistakes of the past, and a rather long-winded conversational film with a sharp ending.After the failed Peter Pan, this is a really great return for the director.

You should probably start with the personality. Michael Jackson is a legend. 

Probably only a blind man doesn't know who it is and what he was doing. And his music became sacred. And no one cares so far about the endless attempts of people to file a complaint against him after his death. 

And even when the movie came out and it happened again. I personally love his songs, so I've been waiting for the movie. But the trailer didn't show anything except the songs and the brightness. Unfortunately or fortunately, this is the case.The first half hour is the story of a boy in a big family. The father (Domingo) is very much watching the children's lives. Therefore, it turns into a fairy tale where Michael, after reading Peter Pan books, decides to achieve everything and retire. 

That's what I've achieved. In general, after the film turns from banality into a story about a bright guy who helps sick children and watches a lot of movies. 

Thanks to the legendary Night of the Living Dead, for example, he came up with a Thriller. The legendary horror clip. And so on, even though his father is still trying to make him think about something else. The main star is not only Domingo...

But so is Jackson. Who played his relative perfectly. 

Most likely, both will get into future nominations. Well, as I said, plus films of this kind are legendary moments and reshoots of music videos, and of course music.

And here are the problems. Before the film, it was known that the relatives were against the negativity of Michael, so the finale is expected to be very sharp and hints at a sequel where supposedly they already promise to show something.In general, the problem is still in the content. The beginning is stretched and the movie is dirty. There doesn't seem to be enough drama. In the same Rhapsody, she was pulled right well and even showed the disadvantages of the character. There's a pure angel here. Maybe it is. But we remember some points... Still, I took a break from the movie. It is as simple and easy as possible, and therefore I will be waiting for the sequel. If you want to watch a real movie about Michael. Watch the documentary Michael Jackson: That's It (2009).

Finally, something good and horror.

Here is a remake of the film A Trip from Virkola. And Samara again. 

And in general, the caste is powerful.

The couple's trip out of town turned out to be not only a personal grater, but also a meeting with bandits. Now it's an action and horror movie with chopping off everything and everyone. There was not enough chemistry as in the original of the Persians.

But there's a self-replay with a screamer. 

And we've already seen the best ones in the trailer. I am one of those who does not scold for this, especially often if something else pulls from the pluses. Here, it's more likely to review the movie and make sure that it's more for once.

Somewhere in the river the monster Kraken is hiding and, according to the law of the genre, kills people. Like a Kaiju, but kind of tolerates. The movie throws a lot of action in the second half.

Sometimes some people don't feel sorry for them. And sometimes they feel too sorry. I personally liked that the movie is like an old horror movie. And the sharks are well made. 

Especially when you're given a budget of 40 million. I hope Harleen continues to make horror films. You see, something else will take off interesting.

I'm shocking you, but part 1 is a childhood movie.

And until the very end, I wonder what will happen to him.It was funny to read that the movie was a cliche. Although we don't have any similar ones. And in general, I wrote about a similar one this year. 

But there are not so many of them (of this kind). Well, it's worth making a discount on the young director's debut film. So we are waiting for his future works.

I've finally reached the legend. 

There's a noisy movie again this year. And again controversial.

Here is a film about how a certain Baranov helped Putin rise and reach his current point. 


All this is sketchy, sometimes caricatured. But with problems.The first plus is the actors. Lowe is really similar to Putin. Paul Dano drags and fits the role well. Everything else in terms of the script is amusingly entertaining and basic for such films. But, it is shown a little strangely. We understand that in the film everyone wants to be closer to the authorities and like they are shown as scum. 

Especially the last half hour. We just don't understand why we need them. Dano is not very pleasant as a Persian. Especially considering his thoughts. Rather, you don't care. A crime drama about money sharing? 

We've seen this happen many times. As a result, the film is average, interestingly shot, but no more. But the last half hour is probably the most important for viewing in general.

And it's also funny that Yeltsin was shown here. But it's more funny that they wanted to release the film in Russia.

Cage is the local Wolverine here, and the rest of the X-Men are straight.

You get a surprise in the finale, both tension and a little horror. And yet. It's a pretty weird movie. Because I wouldn't overestimate the grades so much.

Faces of Death 2026 is not exactly a remake. Rather a rethink. 

In front of us is a Euphoria star that filters content and notices that one of these bloggers is shooting too natural content. Thanks to the skilfully crafted script, the film gives an interest in what will happen in the finale. And even though I didn't get into the finale. We can safely say that Barker is the new face of the genre, which can drag him. Especially thanks to the ideas.

And it's worth saying that horror is an important part of cinema. Watch and you will always find your own.

The Mandalorian TV series is a good thing.

As a result, we were given a film with them.And unfortunately, the critics are right. The film provides almost nothing new. The film looks like one big episode that doesn't affect anything. The plot was even already in another movie.The heroes must save Jabba's relative (who watched the full meter of the Clone Wars cartoon, he realized what a baby). And now he's not a baby, but an arena fighter, the most interesting character in the movie. 

And that's the only interesting thing about something new. Because after everything we've seen, the Hutts aren't the best topic. Otherwise, it's an action movie and the adventures of heroes. Once again, mutual salvation and once again the sensitivity of Pascal. 

As a result, it is suitable for fans, no more.

Koreans love zombie horror movies so much that they film a lot about them.

There are a lot of zombies, they have become scarier. And there is also an interesting topic here (and they wrote nothing new). There are still heroes. But then again, not everyone will survive (and the film sometimes merges some dramatically). Well, the ending in the spirit of Resident Evil was really surprising.

It's definitely not something new, but it's still a great adrenaline rush about my favorite zombies.

Astral (2010)

James Wan and Lee Whannell became legends of the genre after the Saw. But that's a slasher, and you should scare it with screamers. That's how the Astral appeared. Now this is an annoying word for horror fans, because Russian distributors have already made the 20th part of the series in their opinion. And Van did the same Spell, and that one also got its rolling curse.

1 movie based on the plot is banal, if you've watched any horror about ghosts, then this is it. A big family, with murky tones and something around the corner. At first, the boy Doltan does not wake up one day, and while his mother is suffering from ghosts, no one understands what is happening.

2 ghost hunters arrive and later the character of the series is Ellis, who tells them what and who they have here.

The most important differences of the series are the ghosts. The skin of a dead man, as close as possible to real ghosts. It's a scary sight. From the one with the weapon, to the main 2 characters, whose presence cannot be complete without any part, namely the red-faced demon. So fast-paced and mysterious that many have yet to find out who it is.

The soundtrack is also worth noting. Many people were so infuriated by him that, on the contrary, I always liked him. The idiotic piano beats were very frightening.

The movie got so crazy that everyone was shouting that they should watch it. People went to get scared, so the film became a landmark and one of those worth watching from the heavier one.

The finale of the tape ended in a cliff. Therefore, the sequel was expected. It's still a series tower.

Astral 2: Chapter 2 (2013)

The sequel continues the Lamberts' story. Despite the good ending, Ellis strangely dies. And the ghosts have not left, but continue to come.

The sequel revealed more of the gloominess of the finale of part 1. The gray tones were removed and Van even went into psychological horror. The maniac who was dressed as a bride is 100 percent revealed. By the way, this is the only character in the ghost series that is revealed like this. As I said, he was a maniac, hid corpses and dressed them in a dress, and also had a difficult childhood. 2 by the way, the villain is his mother.

The actress is also well-chosen and beautifully played. Anger and understanding are understandable. She's also probably the scariest scene in the movie. By the way, there were fewer scary scenes, all because the ghost of the bride was in the father of the family all the time. There was clearly a Sparkle here. It is worth noting that the bride wanted to live normally and even resisted and contradicted her mother so as not to harm the family. Is it strange?

Otherwise, the film ended the series perfectly with the Lambert family. But the final scene with Jenna Ortega was not explained to us even after 6 parts.

Astral 3 (2015)

By the way. Oren Peli, the director of part 1 and creator of the Paranormal Phenomenon, is still involved in the creation of the series. So are Van and Whannell. The latter became a director himself and has already shot 2 more horror films. In the meantime, Astral 3.

The creators seemed to say that Ellis was killed for nothing. Therefore, we have a prequel in front of us, where we will be shown her acquaintance with her teammates and will show another antagonist. That ko is not breathing.

Father and daughter are now the main characters. My daughter was hit by a car. And then she begins to see a ghost that is breathing heavily. And again, everyone has the same goal - to pick up the carrier.

The screamers are still scary, the kindred depths are in place and cute. The villain is also a stirrup. And Ellis is there. They also showed a good ghost. Yes, there is Alice in part 2, but this is a little different. Then why didn't many people like the part? Most likely because they got used to the old characters. They didn't give me anything new. The screamers work a little worse and the familiarity is very banal.

But it didn't bother me and it didn't spoil the movie.

Astral 4: The Last Key (2018)

Unfortunately, we are moving on to the problematic parts. It's a prequel again, or rather a sequel to another prequel.

The main advantage of 1 is the Background. If we wanted to find out about Ellis, then we would be partially exposed to her demon.
2 plus is the Antagonist. The housekeeper looks fast and dangerous himself.
3 - Lin Shay, one of the best roles.

Unfortunately, as a horror director, I forgot about the scary moments, so there are only 2 of them. Otherwise, there is more emphasis on the backstory and again the favorite theme of the family in the series. For it is in every part. We have a strong middle peasant in front of us.

Astral 5: The Red Door (2023)

The worst part of the series, but you'll see what its advantage is below.

Finally, the continuation of the Lamberts. At the same time, Patrick Wilson himself makes his debut. And there are some interesting points.

Despite the good ending of the 2nd part. The family broke up. My grandmother died suddenly. And the son suffers from visions. As you remember, the heroes supposedly forgot about everything. But the gift did not disappear, so he returned.

He returned, but the design became weaker, and yes, this is a scam, there is almost no red-faced in the film. Wilson has gone more into drama than horror. There is 1 scary scene in the camera. But the rest is weak. Although the story ended corny, it's brave that Wilson started it in the spirit of sequels like Alien 3. Therefore, there was enough gloom. And fanservice warms the soul. Pravd Ellis and the team are just cameos.

And for some reason, this is exactly what gave something new to the series. And 6 here...

Astral 6: They're Already Here (2026)

The return of that very Astral? Maybe.

This time, there's a sequel and a new family again. A dentist girl who is being pestered by ghosts is being pestered by ghosts and turns to a local girl who is getting a tattoo and she will help her find out what is going on.

The posters shouted that a fan service was waiting for us. A bunch of oldies and teasers with powerful screamers from them. And you know what? They cut them out. Did you want someone who wasn't breathing? He's almost not here. As well as the housekeeper. In fact, even Krasnolicius and the others only got the scenes. Return so much and do nothing about it?

Fortunately, as I understand it, the focus was on new characters and not fans. And these are, wow, not ghosts, but a sect led by sectarians who love the astral. So at least there's something new here, and the good news is that the villains are fast. They steal all the scenes. But the director lacks the experience to make a much scarier film.

The scene with the arrow pads, the finale is powerful, and most of the screamers are not as strong as in parts 1 and 2. And yes, all the trails with the family were used again, fortunately the director watched other parts. And this is rather a minus.

Unfortunately, the scam and not so interesting plot of the film ruined the rating. Fans may like the movie, but no more. Maybe that's why I've put him in 3rd place so far.

It's worth starting from the very bottom. Unfortunately, when reviewing, I rated the films even worse. 

We seem to be looking at a continuation of the series, or a cut of episodes from there (as I understood 2), where for some reason everything was rewired into a movie. Unfortunately, this is a cheap and mediocre sight. 

The battle will not tell the story of the hero and the formation. And in general, it doesn't show any action. The Spider itself seems to be dead here. And the villain is a cliche.

The Dragon focuses more on action, but the plot is even worse. Besides John James and Spider, there are no familiar faces here. And who's the Asian girl here? Nothing saves you from thrashing. It's still mediocre.

The worst Spidey spectacle in his character's history is expected.

The film itself will tell about the events after the death of Goblin and Captain Stacy. And now an ex-girlfriend is dying.

The first thing to know is that this is not a superhero movie, but a movie about a character's personal drama. The action here is for 2 scenes and then 1 cringe. Almost 2 hours of suffering and sadness for Gwen. Yes, it is well shown. Especially with references to the same Toby movie and the 90s animated series. If you remember, there was a series with a girl with an incurable disease. There's actually this topic here. 

Yes, the actors are well-chosen, but they don't play perfectly, and the movie is pointless here, but it's made for fans and it works for their own money. You can even have fun.

The New Spider-Man: High Voltage (2014)

Of the big Spiders, the worst is the result of the Garfield movie. However, I do not strongly agree that the 3 parts deprived us deservedly.

Garfield continues to be a hero. But now he faces a powerful evil that was partially created by himself.

The main mistake of the film is that it seems to have good action, but most of it is given away to warm up. Especially for the second half of the movie. And also, for example, there is a gnarled goblin here. De Haan is more of a villain than the same Franco, who, with a great game, was her understandable character and Peter's friend. Just like in some movies, there are too many characters. Felicia performed by Felicity - ugh, but it didn't lead to anything in the end. They even gave MJ a ride here, but they cut him out for obvious reasons.

And the action itself seemed too cartoonish to me, and the budget here is 200 million. At the same time, even with 3 parts of Toby, even though he is a bit higher, for 3 parts I could find fault with something in 1.

However, Garfield and Stone are still good. However, with one of the most powerful scenes in the character's history, namely, Gwen's death, I got the idea that this is the worst version of Gwen, if you've watched the same cartoon, you'll understand why. The heroine will never wear the costume, and both parts are just Peter's love interest. Even though she helped him at various points.

It's obviously not a terrible movie, but it has problems.

Despite the fact that it was called the worst at the time, we have always loved the film many times more. Yes, and I did not understand Haight in the year of release. And after many years, I know more and more people that I consider this movie to be underestimated.

Peter has defeated more than one villain, this time there will be several of them.

It's too early to shout about other problems. But it's definitely worth starting with them. After 3 films, Peter still doesn't realize that a lot of power is a lot of responsibility. Unfortunately, he doesn't always understand this either, but the suit and Venom play a role here. And Venom definitely looks weak after Hardy's version, no muscle, no strength, not even horror. Although the scene in the church is done in the style of Raimi's horror films.

And here, for example, is the villain (partially true) I like Franco, you can see his madness and sacrifice of redemption in the finale. For all the parts and films so far, this is Peter's confident 2 straight best friend (1 even, but there's a point).

And I liked the Sandman or the Sandman even more. His story and ending are the best reveal of a villain and drama among all Spider villains in general. How many Tiktoks have I seen with him, Eh.

And again, I liked the action, the budget for that time was insane. The New Spider-Man (2012)

Let's move on to the excellent Spider movies, according to many. 

Despite the fact that Toby collected and waited for the 4th part. Nevertheless, we decided to merge it. And they gave us Garfield. Webb is a strange choice for me from the 1st part. But fortunately, everything works perfectly in the scenario.

The film focuses on a new villain, the Lizard, and Spider-Toby almost had him, but it didn't come to that. The lizard, despite the villainy, is an understandable character, his mistake and his actions have always bordered on good and bad. If you've watched the animated series, you'll understand me. But he's not a strong villain for a movie. However, as I said, the script here is like in the movie Toby, it works according to the canon, Gwen is many times more useful and better than MJ. The scene with Ben is worse for me, but it's just as touching.

And Garfield, it's a real discovery, it's where there's more of a sense of a humorous Spider, even though the movie is kind of dark and lackluster. But most importantly, the same claim as for Holland, Garfield is not a nerd or a freak here at all. In Toby's version, they kept pointing this out to us. He's cool, he's a hero, but he's also a nerd. It also feels like the guy on the left got bitten by a Spider. Well, the main weight of Toby's Spider is the Web. There are web shooters and there are real cobwebs.

Speaking of the Flash, Holland has a miscast, Toby has a cliche and a cringe. There was a man who could even come up to Peter and somehow cheer him up. Otherwise, this is the basic version of the Spider, but I almost didn't see anything wow in 2 parts. Because when they shouted that it was the best Spider, I honestly looked at it with a strange look.

Well, here I think briefly. The spider was shown back in the Civil War, and there, to put it mildly, it did not cause anything. A separate film where Peter's sufferings are not shown 3 times. Now it's a youth comedy.

MJ Miscast, although Zendaya plays well, Holland is a jerk, literally. But for 7-8 films, they managed to shelter him and force him to accept. But the way to show it here is a cringe. Even at the end, he doesn't actually defeat the villain by himself. Yes, and the Falcon, for all the absurdity in other versions of tt, has a direct weight thanks to Kitan.

The film follows the death of Tony and Avengers: Endgame. The finale is there, but the money is more important, so they gave us another part of St. Petersburg, and this time the European one.

And again, the villain is better than the hero. Here, Mysterio, played by Gyllenhaal, takes over the weight. Charisma and blatant lies take their toll. And also the beauty of the beauty of the backdrops and the kda is more interesting action, although there doesn't seem to be enough here either. And the part is more personal for Peter, most of it is saving friends and accepting himself, where he proves that he can become a better person and not shame Tony Stark's memory.

Spider-Man: A New Day (2026)

Did you think there would be a 1st place? I realized from the very trailer that there was no. However, the ratings in the West are temporarily high (8.2 so far). But here we are, and even the critics have understood everything.

A new day is a new chapter and a new trilogy of Peter, now he is independent, on his own, heroic. For some reason, Ned and MJ are still stalking. And it's really funny sometimes that they shared so much of it.

But it also has a lot of problems. The villain this time was Sink, played by the character Jean Grey (Lead-up to the X-Men). Her character has personal problems and is similar to Peter, but she is strong and dangerous. 

Many people scolded 3 for the fan service, so here it is exactly the same. Here's the Punisher you need for the finale. Here's the Hulk for you to have a fight with for 4 minutes. Here's an almost naked Black Widow, but you don't need her here. And let's not forget about the Scorpio. I'm glad that the actor who played Vaasa was returned to Far Land, but even here he is a plot move. I'm not talking about the Tombstone at all.

And well, it's worth mentioning about Gray, do you remember Famke Jansson? Her character was a good fit, and when she's evil, it's just wow, But remember Thatcher or the animated series is the same. Let's forget and remember. A schoolgirl from a Very strange case with freckles is a villainous evil. I'll just remind you that she killed her kin without remorse. Just keep it in mind.

Many more scolded the action here, I personally spend the least time on it, but there is the most cartoony here and it was noticeable in the trailer. So even though we have a mess in front of us, Peter's drama and connection with the villainess are good. And Peter's stalking here is like an Obsession, it looks interesting and the humor is not bad. The main thing is that they did not destroy the canon of the 3 parts (almost). Yes, it's a good part of the series, but it's like I expected more. And even after 3, it's hard to shoot something outright flashy, but we managed to make at least a good movie.

Spider-Man (2002)

Dad's in the building, or he's already in the top 5. The beginning of the beginning of the whole Spider story, if it had been a failure, we wouldn't even have seen half of the other versions. Well, it's worth saying now. Spider - Toby is the best version of Spider. And my favorite.

They're not movies, but that's later. It is here, as I wrote, that the Schmuck Spider and the Spider that has a good scenario trilogy. Yes, now the effects of this particular part have aged slightly, and as many joked Toby and other not-quite-kids. But this is the problem of the films of the 0's. 

But the scene with Uncle Ben is the best, and it's not only the credit of the actors, but also of Sam Raimi himself, who cast such actors in these roles. Toby is emotional and that's why he got memes with himself, he tears himself up as a simple guy, but that's why he became the best. The music, the cool opening credits with cobwebs, and the same scenes with the locals are playing in contrast. If Garfield's films are too dark and uninteresting, Holland's is a comedy. That's the balance of everything there is.

But as I wrote, there are problems. Dunst is not the best passion character here, for the entire trilogy there is a lot of melodrama and Peter's suffering for her. And she herself is not a gift. And they'd rather be separate (although later we'll find out that everything is OK with him).

And don't forget about the best villain of the trilogy, played by Defoe, who is a scientist in his own way. However, the mask spoils everything.

Yes, the sequel is the best part of the trilogy, but not much for me.

The best part of the Spider is Toby. Definitely the 4th place among others.

This time, the villain will be Doctor Octopus.

The action has improved. And even now he looks good. The villain on Otto is a real sight. Raspberry is beautiful and there is sympathy for him at the end and then I am glad of his appearance the most. The drama of Raimi's sequels takes the main weight. As in the Sinister Ones, he does work on the mistakes and does not give us the same ones. If the hero is aware of something, it is here. Although MJ is also 0.

It is also worth noting the costume, it suits Toby the most and it is he who has the most stylish here. It is also worth noting the wonderful actress on Aunt May (95 years old and still alive) and J.J.James, the best versions of all. Although 2 are taken to other parts as well.

It's a great sequel and, for me, the best example of how to make them.

Well, the top 3 and still the best game version. And probably the lazy guy didn't want to look at 3 Spiders at once.

After part 2, Mysterio revealed who the Spider is and everyone blames him for what is happening, as everything was arranged differently by the villain. And Peter asks for help from a colleague to help solve the problem.

It was thanks to this part that we captured the same boring multiverse where all and sundry heroes and villains are met. Now Toby, Garfield and Holland are saving everyone. But most importantly, there is more emphasis on Peter's self-responsibility and he wants to help the villains. Spiders aren't here just for the sake of appearances and cool scenes, but finally the best action in the series. Now he is losing a loved one and comes to serious moments. MJ could have killed herself, too.,

Yes, there is also a temporary battle with Strange, which does not understand Peter's actions. There is a Goblin - Defoe who is finally without a mask and playing 100%. There is no goofy Spider, but Peter Parker and his mentors. They are the ones who make you realize both the weight of heroism and those very moments about important words.

Many people love cons. It's strange to me that Holland can handle catching villains so easily, they're like bosses of other parts and not easy. Is there a weakness here? Yes, and when the Sand managed to die because of the Spider. And why does he always walk like sand and not a man, so conveniently? You can see how the creators seem to have assembled more from other parts of the scene. And again, as I said, the action is good, but the most powerful current is at the end of the film. Ves is playing the same fan series, but finally there is a good approach to the hero and important scenes not only for Holland, but also for other Spiders.

Spider-Man: Across the Universes (2018)

The longest trilogy, and so far it's been worth it. So much so that the 3rd part will either be a complete failure or the 1st place among others.

Now they will tell us the Afro version of the Spider. Mile Morales gets the same abilities here, but the story goes a little differently. From 0, you can say it's a multiverse again. Spiders from other universes help Miles defeat Fisk, who is not just a bully, but a character with his own disclosure.

And it's fun to see different Spiders in a cartoon way. The main one died. Now there is not only Miles, but also a Pig that came from Looney Tunes. The Noir Spider that got his TV series (Cage is good), the Spider anime loli and skoof. Like an ordinary Peter, but a bit of a sucker. 

And finally, Gwen (uff), the best love interest and independent heroine who goes through a personal arc (even more in the sequel) and the hero's best friend. Yes, Mile is actually a different character altogether, and not just because of the color. But Peter is here too. And he often helps the hero.

The most important thing is animation and music. The uniqueness of the drawing seemed like a controversial decision, like doing so. As a result, one of the best and most important parts. For this, by the way, the Spider received its 1st Oscar. Despite the same multiverse, the revelation of Miles' character here perfectly conveys the same responsibility that 3 Toby and Hollad films carried so well.

Definitely one of the best cartoons I've seen.

Spider-Man: Web of Universes (2023)

We'll have to wait at least another year for the finals. But so far, the sequel is tearing up everything that came before.

The animation in part 1 was acidic, gorgeous, and simply fiery. Then the creators just went into an even bigger gap. Most of all. The multiverse? Here you have a spider Cat, a Spider Dinosaur, a Punk, a Lego, a Psychologist and other spiders. Here are cameos of Venom's character and the old Spiders.

Well, as I said. the greater disclosure of Gwen's Spider. Her drama with her father and her personal one with Miles. But the most important thing is Miles, respectively. Again, the decision is on the level - I don't want to be like everyone else. They want to tell him that his loved one must die, but everyone couldn't tell him, even though they knew. Miles didn't accept it, then ran away.

We do not yet know if this is correct. But the quality and power of what is happening gives great power, and for my responsibility, I'm putting this part on 1 for now, because the problem with the finale is that it's only part 2 with the fuel for the sequel.

First, I'll write down who took it off. Gore Verbinski gave us a bunch of masterpieces and just childhood movies. Rango, Pirates of the Caribbean 3 parts, Car hunt, Bell. Yes, I even defended the Medicine for health. But the director withdrew into himself and disappeared for 9 years, giving us this. Sam Rock is in front of us in the form of a homeless man from the future, he recruits random people in order to save the world from an evil AI. Verbinski admitted that he is encouraged by the trend of neural networks and other things. That's why we have Terminator 2.0 and Everything, everywhere and 2.0 at once. With a lot of action, horror and comedy, banter about everything and everything. Well, there's a hint of a sequel. Which of course I'm waiting for, if that's the case. In the meantime, I'm even overestimating one of the most original and daring films.

It's perfect to shoot a chamber horror in a morgue. But unfortunately, all attempts are almost passable. So this one couldn't either. There's a lot in the movie. They seem to be skillfully building an atmosphere. But they waste a lot of words. And they like to spend a lot of time on what we already understood. Which looks stretched. You can watch the movie, but it will quickly slip out of your head.

The movie could have been better. There is no atmosphere. Children don't play very well, and sometimes they just want to bring it to horror, but something is missing. Rather than a struggle for survival like Kruse, this is a movie about the conflicts of undisclosed characters. Sadly.

So, I must say right away that this is the 2 biggest disappointment of the year among any genre. Scream is one of the most popular franchises in general. It doesn't have any downright terrible parts. 1 and 2 and the worst 3 were interesting. Part 7 turned on the heat and again threw Sydney and now her family into danger. Now she is threatened by an old acquaintance and promised a lot of tin. 1 is already burning badly. And the characters themselves say it. And Lillard himself is kind of overdoing it. I'm glad he's partially back. But there are only a couple of scenes with him. And those are weak ones. In general, the threats and his appearance in the frame do not look like something dangerous. And the threats here are minimal. If earlier there were guesses who and what. Although there were problems with that too. Here, there are almost no murders and almost no tinplate (one scene). 

Although I saw more tin in the 4th part. The final gosts are generally a cringe. Again, they just came and merged in just a couple of minutes. In general, this part is a fan film, without much effort. And it's sad that they screwed up what they had been waiting for for many years and deceived everyone.

I haven't read or watched much about the movie. And overall, it made it easier to accept. The trailer was powerful, and one of the creators helped with movie 7 at the time. No matter how much the actress has become, unfortunately, other things in the film work poorly. And the ending is actually stupidly staged. Why yes? The series is despite the genre of the action movie. Not an action movie at all. This is a drama and comedy about the future counterpart of Superman. There's a more vital movie here. And the mentor played by Kingsley (the very clone of the Mandarin from the 3rd part of Iron Man) history helps a lot here.Why not? Because those who are used to and waiting for every Marvel project are waiting for 4 hours of dialogues and jokes. No doubt it's interesting, but not everyone will find this story interesting and not everyone will get it. The story is more than simple and typical.Bottom line: Marvel can find something new somewhere, and that's a good thing. But I wouldn't clean up the old stuff either. Look at the Dispatch game and you'll understand me. That's where you should aim for.

2. The Murphy series.

But 1 personally plays a role in the series for me, and 2 offers an unusual experience. That's why it's a great series with a great implementation.

I love horror movies. 

I am glad that they have grown to more. 

I am glad that they are being given a rethink and a large budget (80 lakhs). 

But it depends on how it looks. This is a reimagining of the Bride of Frankenstein, only with a bunch of everything put together. Melodrama and dancing like Joker 2, Bonnie and Clyde, Chucky's Fiancee of Cruelty and much more. And the cast is powerful. Bale, Buckley, Gyllenhaal. The last one just seems to be there. Most of all, Buckley can be singled out for predicting an Oscar. She certainly looks desirable to many here. But she often overplays and her character is not very pleasant. But even that can be tolerated. The main mistake of the film is its pace. He is so strange that everyone and everyone is fasting. It's action, it's tin, it's melodrama. And you can see that there is something to praise. But after the finale, it's clear that we have more of a passing movie in front of us.

It's a good, though not perfect ending to the series' story. The first part reveals the hero more psychologically, and the second part returns him to his prime. It gives us the action and the very coolness of the original series. The film is imperfect only because it devotes a lot of time to drama. The film is about a family that tries to reform its son through extreme measures. The son is a brawler. But he tolerates a lot. For the first time, the actors are a plus. He is also wearing a white shirt, brown trousers, red vest, brown coat and, like everyone in the Fellowship of the Ring, a Lorien cape with a leaf. 

The most difficult detail is the chain for the Ring. I crocheted it with the finest silver thread with a 2 mm crochet, well, you understand. I dropped the Ring three times while trying it on, and each time my heart skipped a beat. Frodo would have understood. He dropped it himself more than once.

7. Galadriel

The one who is able to look into your soul...  interrupts the series of hobbits.

Galadriel is wearing a floor-length white dress with wide sleeves and a belt. And elf ears!

Among all the details, I've been working on her hair for the longest time. The tiara is tied in two strands. To the thick gray I added a thin silver one, the one I made the Ring chain. And tiara shone with that soft light befitting the lady of Lorien. And it will shine in the darkness when all other light is extinguished.

6. Eowyn 

The first person in the collection. The one that could kill Witch King of Angmar.

She's wearing a snow-white robe that reaches all the way to the floor. Long sleeves with elegant slits are connected in the same pattern as the skirt. A brown vest (corset) is worn over the dress with lacing on the back. 

The most difficult detail is the vest. I did embroidery on it, it wasn't easy. But The back was sewn so that it looked like a real lacing corsets — because my toys do not tolerate falseness, even in small things. I 'm not complaining. That was my battle.

5. Rosie Cotton

The one who married Sam.

She is wearing a white shirt with flounce sleeves and a terracotta maxi skirt. There is a green corset on top, and a green apron on the belt. By the way, I used the same shade of green as Sam's to make them look harmonious together.

The most difficult thing is the corset.  Interesting fact: I tied up Rosie on February 14th. On that day Rosie and Sam saw each other in the first time.

4. Gandalf the Grey

Gandalf is wearing a long grey robe with wide sleeves. On his head is a pointed wide brimmed hat. A bag is slung over his shoulder. Gray robes are visible under the mantle. He wears a fringed silver scarf around his neck.

The most difficult thing is the beard. I crocheted it several times. Not because I did mistakes, but because I was looking for the right one. The solution turned out to be obvious, though... after all, any solved riddle seems amazingly easy afterwards.

3. Aragorn

This is Aragorn, son of Arathorn, heir to Isildur and the true king of the throne of Gondor!

He is wearing a blue shirt with lacing at the collar. A dark blue vest is worn on top. On his belt hangs a scabbard containing the legendary Andril sword, its blade is decorated with rune-shaped engraving. There are three slits on the hem of the dark grey raincoat. It is slightly open, allowing you to see weapons and clothing details. The image is completed by a green elf cloak with a brooch in the form of a Lorien leaf.

The most difficult things are boots, a cloak and a beard. The boot top was turned up and wrapped with rope, so I had to tinker. I spent a long time choosing the color for the raincoat based on the film, and eventually decided to knit it in gray. It was difficult to make incisions on the hem, but it was interesting. And then I found out that the costumers were planning a cape in a beautiful shade of green. Perhaps the day will come when I will crochet him again... But not today!

2. Boromir

A valiant warrior who will not bow to anyone. 

A dark blue vest with silver embroidery is worn over a burgundy shirt embroidered with gold threads. On his left shoulder hangs the horn of Gondor, a family heirloom of the Governors of Gondor. If the horn is heard within the borders of Gondor, its owner will be rescued. A cloak with a Lorien leaf is draped over his shoulders. A chain mail shirt is hidden under the shirt. The image is completed by bracers made in dark brown color. These bracers not only protect his hands, but also add dynamism and power to his appearance. By the way, after Boromir's tragic death, his bracers pass to Aragorn, who uses them in further battles.

You can't just crochet Boromir... It is almost entirely made up of complex parts. The embroidery on his shirt and vest, and his beard are all nothing compared to his hands. They consist of three layers: shirt sleeves on top, chain mail in the middle, and gloves on the bottom.

1. Legolas

Thranduil's son. He is as tall as a sapling, flexible, and extraordinarily strong... He can quickly draw a huge war bow and shoot a Nazgul.

The main colors of his outerwear are green and brown, with three cuts at the hem. Underneath he is wearing a high-necked shirt, shimmering in shades of blue and silver and decorated with intricate clasps. Legolas wears high boots. A Lorien cape with a leaf-shaped brooch is draped over his shoulders.

The hardest part is... everything. Every detail here requires attention. Hair pulled back in a pigtail. A shirt with clasps and a belt. Boots (several times more difficult than Aragorn's boots). A raincoat with a sewing detail. Legolas isn't first because he's an elf. It's because he took more of my time, energy, and nerves than all the others combined. Alas, for the madness of our days. 

Ideal

These were the characters that I connected this year. But you don't think that's all, do you? 

However, as they say, you can't put a ring on two hands at once, and you can't put all my toys in one post. Whether there will be a sequel... I don't know. Even the wisest cannot foresee everything. There is hope. Ghostly, crazy, but there is.

The Sinister Dead (1981)

Despite the fact that I immediately start with part 1, the story of the sinister begins in the 70s, namely with a short meter In the woods (1978). It was then that Raimi tried the theme of the dead. If Sinister is literally an amateur movie, then it's just very amateur, but there are fruits.

Raimi shot not only one of the coolest debuts for 350 thousand, but also gave an example to many how to start a career. Especially if the poster says Stephen King approves. The plot here is also banal, a group of people, some kind of wilderness and a strange reason to go there. A basement and a book, and as a result, a random summoning of demons that make you evil.

The main reason for the success is the atmosphere, the way it's shot. Even when the characters want to leave. you realize that there is no way out, it scares you more than what will happen next. The tin is big here, the demon that flies after you, the beheading, some actions of the branches with the girl, filmed so on the edge. Closer to the final, you realize how tough everything is. And the symbol itself is Ash, it's just a random survivor. A masterpiece. No, it's already a classic.

The Sinister Dead (1987)

The sequel took a long time. But if you've been watching, you've been waiting for the remake.

The film begins with Ash and his girlfriend who went to the same house, while the hero does not remember the events of part 1, but he remembers the demon inside him. The main difference of the part is that they added more black humor, more Ash, and finally not a whiner, but a cool Groovy man who wets demons. If there was a remake, then this is the perfect version with a final boss and improved scenes. The demons are still scary, and the big-budget effects have become juicier and bigger, especially when you watch it 2 times.

Another big plus is the reserve for time travel, thus the 3rd part is expected very much and as for me it is epic.

The Sinister Dead 3: Army of Darkness (1992)

Another long wait. And again, the budget has increased. Part 3 is not only an action movie, not only a black comedy and horror, but also a fantasy. The days of knights and castles, and Ash are still among the dangers, but now people are dangerous too. 

Demons are already familiar here. Ash himself has already experienced, and despite his anger and sometimes stupidity, he is still a hero who saves lives. Now he's evil himself, there's a lot of very funny humor, and the effects have become richer, even though they're already very outdated, some of the ideas look fresh and unique. The chainsaw is in place.

I also note that there are a lot of Sinister games, some pretty cool, and some are already very outdated. But in some cases, I still advise you to lose.

It's terrible that they wanted to end the trilogy with Ash falling into oblivion, but after that the ending was replaced with the one where he kills the dead again. For me, this is the best and favorite part. As well as an unexpectedly epic ending to the story.

The Sinister Dead: The Black Book (2013)

Yes, despite the completion, something is always returned. The hype was big, the director is new, but Bruce and Sam are in the producers and are overseeing the future director of Don't breathe and Someone Else: Romulus. And it turned out well.

This is actually a sequel, as the post-credits scene tells us. And so it's the same, but now instead of a party, the motivation of the characters is to help the sister of one of the characters live another day without her favorite injections in a vein. And the characters are different and even stand out more in the game than in the original. The remake left a tin can, sometimes it seems that this is the cruelest part of the series. Every blow you feel, every demon scares you no less. But there is a problem.

Some scenes repeat what we've already seen, and those that repeat me are worse shot. The shock content is still there, but when they showed us the new Ash, it was immediately drained, and the one that survived was the one that only got in the way and sat in the basement for the whole movie, and also came to life in a very strange way. I personally don't like it. Yes, as a remake it's great, but those who watched the original understand what the original dragged even without motivation and more tin.

It is worth noting that there was a remake before this part. From India and Japan. The damn fool in hell even repeated some scenes and was even filmed in his own way. 2 I recommend, 1 will not do anything good.

A little bit about the series. He came out powerful. Judging by the ratings, it's generally the best part of the series. Ash is in place, there are new heroes, new dead, and still horror and humor. The stupidest thing is that the series was closed without completing Ash's story, and it's especially sad to hear it after saying that Ash will no longer be there, except in the comics. And judging by the actor's condition, it was also a sad ending.

Despite the fact that the sequel was popular with many, and the series was good, the sequel did not come out again soon. And it can't be called a continuation. But there is something new.

By tradition, they are sinister in place, as well as tin. Some scenes are really scary and you turn your head away from them. Especially Sutherland, whom I noticed back in the Vikings series, immediately shines. Her character is both scary and well-designed. And the ending itself with her (part of it) can be strongly emphasized.

However, there is still a fan service and those who dreamed that there would be something new, then there is not much of this. Yes, now the family is heroes, yes, a new location and a boss. But in general, it doesn't do anything, rather they changed the wrapper. Although this wrapper is made in such a way that the interest has not disappeared, although again the same first parts, I am eager to review much more.

The current part has already won the hearts of many and established the status of the peak of the sinister. Critics and viewers have always positively evaluated the series. Except that the Kinopoisk of the Black Book gave a very low rating, but I still did not understand why.

It's worth starting with the problems. Family, motivation, and a home in the wilderness again. Just a bigger house. Just like in the Uprising, there's something new in the wrapper. The sinister ones searched for the dagger and searched for it in the family home of the researcher who wrote down those notes, warning travelers against future readings. So there's a book here, but just like that. The deadlines became worse in design, but they still didn't spare anyone, and the French director threw a lot of tin and blood. The cool thing is that the series gave a deep message, the loss of a family member and grief were filmed perfectly, the heroine, although behaving strangely in places, is still revealed, and plays perfectly. As such, it is roughly equivalent to the English simple present: “runs”. Without other inflections, the aorist tense of basic verbs is formed by adding an -ë to the stem: nor- “to run” → norë “runs”. That’s enough information to form some simple sentences.

For example:
elda lorë — an elf sleeps (lor + "ë")
i hesto samë macil — the captain has a sword (sam + "ë")
i nauco tirë i orco — the dwarf watches the orc(tir + + "ë")
orco matë aiwi — an orc eats birds (mat + "ë")

With "you" -i is added to the word to indicate the present tense and "tyë" (you) or "lyë" (You), depending on what you want to say.

For example:
menityë — you go (men + I + tyë)
samityë macilinya — you have my sword (sam + i + tyë, macil + i +nya)
samilyë macilinya — you have my sword (sam + i + lyë, macil + i + nya)

With "I" the word order is also reversed (predicate, then subjects). -i is added to the word to indicate the present tense and -n as the correct ending for "I".

For the plural, "i" is added to the word to indicate the present tense and "r" to indicate the plural. The word order is direct (subjects, then predicate).

i naucor tirir i orco — the dwarves are watching the orc (tir + i + r)

The sword is yours, the stars are yours, Quenya... Well, almost... The arsenal has been replenished: plural, possessive pronouns and a couple of new words. Oh, by the way, there's something under the pictures. But it doesn't matter. Don't pay any attention.

There are many Elvish languages, each of them is unique. I want to tell you about quenya. Quenya is the language of the elves who came to Middle-earth from Valinor. 

Tolkien himself called quenya "Elvish Latin", since by the Third Age it had ceased to be the language of everyday communication and remained as the language of knowledge, rituals and poetry. The living speech of the elves was almost completely replaced by Cindarin, a related but different language. 

The letters of the Elvish script are called tengwar (from Quenya tengwa — sign, symbol, letter). The Latin alphabet is often used to write texts in Quenya, which is familiar to the eye and convenient for beginners. We will master the rules of reading — and immediately proceed to live speech: take a few words and expressions written in Latin, and try to pronounce them the way they once sounded in Valinor.

Galadriel spoke Quenya.

It is very easy to read in Quenya, just like in Latin or German: both written and read. You only need to remember a few simple rules.:

1. A Quenya c is always a "hard c" [k].
2. Vowels are pronounced i = "ee", e = "eh", a = "ah", o = "oh", u = "oo".
3. Long vowels are marked with an accent (í, é, á, ó, ú) and are roughly pronounce the same but held longer than short vowels.
4. The double-dot (dieresis) on ë and ö has no effect on pronunciation and may be omitted; it is just a reminder than these vowels are pronounce separately.
5. The Quenya r is a trilled r, as in Spanish or Italian pero. It should not be pronounced as an English r. The tongue should touch the alveolar ridge (the roof of the mouth just behind the front teeth) and vibrate briefly.

Legolas spoke Cindarin.

There are six diphthongs in Quenya — combinations of two vowels that are pronounced together as one sound. You need to be able to read them.:
1. ai = "eye" as in rye
2. oi = "oy" as in boy
3. ui = "wee" [roughly] as in queen
4. iu = "yoo" as in yule
5. eu = "ehoo" [very roughly]
6. au = "ow" as in how

The last rule remains, be patient...

And a few words about the stress in words:
1. Monosyllables are stressed on their only syllable, through sometimes minor monosyllables are unstressed within a larger phrase.
2. Disyllables are stressed on their first syllable.
3. Longer words are stressed on their second-to-last syllable if it is heavy (diphthong or long vowels), and otherwise their third-to-last syllable.

Now that we know how words sound, it's time to look into the very heart of language — its grammar. Let's start with the simplest. You need to understand how to connect words with each other. The grammar of Quenya reminded me of Chinese, there is a similar logic. 

Let's analyze a few basic constructions.:

1. Noun + verb "ná" (to be) + noun
For example: 
i atan(ná) hesto — the man is the captain (the verb "ná" can be omitted in the present)

2. Verb "ná" (to be, to be) + pronoun + noun
For example: 
nanyë elda — I am an elf (the verb "ná" is placed before the pronoun, written together with it and stripped of the accent mark)
Natyë nauco — You are a dwarf

3. Noun + verb "ná" (to be) + adjective
For example: 
i nauco (ná) halla — The dwarf is tall
i orco (ná) qualin — The orc is dead

4. Verb "ná" (to be) + pronoun + adjective
For example:
nalvë turca — We are strong

5. Verb "ná" (to be, to be) + adverb/adjective
For example:
ná mára — It's good
ná oialë — It's forever
