Finally, something new about the Star Wars universe. Finally.

This is a spin-off of the Clone Wars animated series. And specifically a spin-off about one of the universe's favorite characters. The biggest spoiler is that the character survived. As we remember, he was killed by Obi-Wan. But, spoiler alert, he's still going to die from it. It's interesting, however, to find out what the character was doing while the events of the story were happening. This is Darth Maul.

He is looking for a way to take revenge on Palpatine for his betrayal. And he's a criminal himself. But it has a whole grouping. He also finds a Jedi and wants to join forces with her against the local Sith. Supposedly a villain. But even then it was revealed from the good side. He's a pretty smart and wise character. And understands the sides. That is why the tandem of Sith and Jedi, unique to the universe, is here because they find a common goal. The picture has also changed.

She became darker, noirier and neon. And I wasn't ashamed to show cruelty, but projects are almost always for everyone.

Little Tommy Virkola is back to horror.

And he took off his Australian one. It sounds like a meme. Here is a mix of the movie Trap and Jaws.

A lot of people survive among the cruel sharks that just love to bite. You can also say that the film is like Piranhas. Don't forget about thrashing and adding humor. Unfortunately, it doesn't give you anything new. Although among the many films about animals, this one can somehow be distinguished.

The star of Romulus and the Long Walk has found himself another good movie.

An English film about a guy who is almost out of prison, but they put a rather unusual cellmate in his cell.

First of all, I would like to note that this is not the first and not the last film about prison, and as I understand it, you can already sum up a whole subgenre. And again, we have a tense film in front of us.

The hero tolerates a lot at any cost and tries to at least make friends with similar personalities. But any step and you're already here for life. In places, the hero is dumb, but still endearing. So I really want to wait in order to understand whether the hero has succeeded or not.

Last year, I wrote about a series with Quollie where she survived with a child and found a bad job.

So this is almost the same thing. But the key word is almost. This is more of a youth thing. The main character follows in the footsteps of a super sexy woman and begins to lead an online video. If there was drama and heaviness of the heroine in that series, then this is not enough here at all. But Fanning is very fond of undressing.

She's the one with the advantages, because she's still great as an actress. I hope there will be better development in the future.

Well, in short, kinzo was leaked online earlier than necessary.

And the opinion will be short.

I'm not a fan of the original. And by the way, I thought it was an anime. But this movie is definitely anime. Before us is the return of the now adult heroes. New adventures and stuff. The picture is different, but it seems to make sense. There is action. But the plot seems to be for a couple of episodes that were inserted into the movie. And I've read controversial things about the powers of one hero. In general, it's debatable.

7.0/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

This is something similar to the Witchcraft movie, but about witches from a local clothing store.

In general, even the movies are similar. A new, dangerous main witch and a horror flair. The latter, by the way, is not enough. But the story as a whole is interestingly staged. Even though Witchcraft looks better. But something similar is in front of you.

6.4/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

Ann and the horror? It sounds interesting.

The film was poorly advertised. But they released an album. And that's what happened.

In fact, we have a lot in front of us. It's a bit of a drama about old girlfriends and their conflict.

A little bit of Suspiria with the mystery of witches, a little Possessed where there is a certain spirit nearby. It's also a musical with beautiful music and staging, and of course horror. The latter is responsible for folk horror and atmosphere.

Ann is the best thing here. It just glitters. But it's hard to recommend a movie. This is a banal movie about obsession with business, mistakes of the past, and a rather long-winded conversational film with a sharp ending. After the failed Peter Pan, this is a really great return for the director.

7.0/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

Do you remember the Edge of the Future? So that's the manga adaptation.

Now the anime adaptation of that manga. And the most important thing. The animation is crap. It looked like kids versus wizards in places. Little action. But in general, the story is still memorable. Groundhog Day, monsters and the expected ending. If you choose from the versions. Then the Edge is 5 times higher.

6.8/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

You should probably start with the personality. Michael Jackson is a legend.

Probably only a blind man doesn't know who it is and what he was doing. And his music became sacred. And no one cares so far about the endless attempts of people to file a complaint against him after his death.

And even when the movie came out and it happened again. I personally love his songs, so I've been waiting for the movie. But the trailer didn't show anything except the songs and the brightness. Unfortunately or fortunately, this is the case. The first half hour is the story of a boy in a big family. The father (Domingo) is very much watching the children's lives. Therefore, it turns into a fairy tale where Michael, after reading Peter Pan books, decides to achieve everything and retire.

That's what I've achieved. In general, after the film turns from banality into a story about a bright guy who helps sick children and watches a lot of movies.

Thanks to the legendary Night of the Living Dead, for example, he came up with a Thriller. The legendary horror clip. And so on, even though his father is still trying to make him think about something else. The main star is not only Domingo...

But so is Jackson. Who played his relative perfectly.

Most likely, both will get into future nominations. Well, as I said, plus films of this kind are legendary moments and reshoots of music videos, and of course music.

And here are the problems. Before the film, it was known that the relatives were against the negativity of Michael, so the finale is expected to be very sharp and hints at a sequel where supposedly they already promise to show something. In general, the problem is still in the content. The beginning is stretched and the movie is dirty. There doesn't seem to be enough drama. In the same Rhapsody, she was pulled right well and even showed the disadvantages of the character. There's a pure angel here. Maybe it is. But we remember some points... Still, I took a break from the movie. It is as simple and easy as possible, and therefore I will be waiting for the sequel. If you want to watch a real movie about Michael. Watch the documentary Michael Jackson: That's It (2009).

Finally, something good and horror.

Here is a remake of the film A Trip from Virkola. And Samara again.

And in general, the caste is powerful.

The couple's trip out of town turned out to be not only a personal grater, but also a meeting with bandits. Now it's an action and horror movie with chopping off everything and everyone. There was not enough chemistry as in the original of the Persians.

But there's more action and horror. Well, in general, Samara, God, how beautiful it is. But more than that, I wrote that this is one of her best roles. Especially in one of the interrogation scenes.

7.2/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

3 the work of Damian McCarthy.

The first was a Warning. After the Astral. The medium.

Both were highly praised by critics. But I also liked horror in both works. And unfortunately, this is a clear problem of the director, we have something like 1408 in front of us. Also a writer and a strange hotel. There's also something sinister.

In 1408, the horror was terrifically scary. Here's the plus of the script. Despite the fact that it's trivial, it was interesting to watch. Adam Scott hypes more and more in the genre and plays horror more and more often, which is nice. But as I said, the problem here is horror. The atmosphere is there. But there's a self-replay with a screamer.

And we've already seen the best ones in the trailer. I am one of those who does not scold for this, especially often if something else pulls from the pluses. Here, it's more likely to review the movie and make sure that it's more for once.

6.8/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

We didn't have time to take ours off, then there's a new one. Now it's a horror movie.

Somewhere in the river the monster Kraken is hiding and, according to the law of the genre, kills people. So we are waiting for the confrontation of people with him in his parasites.Yes, the new feature is to send monsters instead of yourself. In general, the Kraken is too kind here. Like a Kaiju, but kind of tolerates. The movie throws a lot of action in the second half.

But cinema doesn't save much. Especially considering the stupidities of the characters. So even though it's Western, ours turned out to be no worse.

5.5/10

Harlin's horror, once postponed. And his return to the topic and the sharks.

After the trilogy of Strangers and a generally not the best career, there were doubts. But after seeing the major critical acclaim, it's even the best film of his career. Not really. But it's true that the movie is not bad.

This is a disaster movie. The plane crashes into the sea. Someone survived. But the sharks are coming.Everything is according to the canon of the genre. Blood, tin, and characters. Sometimes some people don't feel sorry for them. And sometimes they feel too sorry. I personally liked that the movie is like an old horror movie. And the sharks are well made.

Especially when you're given a budget of 40 million. I hope Harleen continues to make horror films. You see, something else will take off interesting.

6.5/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

I'm shocking you, but part 1 is a childhood movie.

One of the first acquaintances with Streep and Ann. And Blunt, who had just started her career back then.

And now, 20 years later, they're all here.In short, this is the very sequel that gives almost nothing new. But only in a good sense repeats the original. I think Ann's back. Streep still powerfully plays the scum, and the plot sometimes provides surprises and reveals more old characters. Unfortunately. I've seen it all before.

Yes, there are jokes with new trends. Ai for example. But that's not enough here. And almost the ending is similar. Is it bad? No.In front of me is still the same drama and a rather funny comedy about the world of cruel fashion, evil bosses and intrigues. But it could have been removed earlier.

7.3/10

Kommersant

Kommersant

I expected the worst. Especially after seeing 8.2 on Kinopoisk.

But it turned out to be much better. This is a true story and a film based on a book by a businessman who believed in himself too much and ended up in prison. And a special one. Where there are a lot of convicts and concepts.

Petrov is always ok. That's why I haven't discovered anything new. Huskies, by the way, too. In general, we watch the scenario as the hero tries and tries to save his life in 4 walls. If it was all about money. Then there is no more. N

And until the very end, I wonder what will happen to him.It was funny to read that the movie was a cliche. Although we don't have any similar ones. And in general, I wrote about a similar one this year.

But there are not so many of them (of this kind). Well, it's worth making a discount on the young director's debut film. So we are waiting for his future works.

7.8/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

I've finally reached the legend.

There's a noisy movie again this year. And again controversial.

Here is a film about how a certain Baranov helped Putin rise and reach his current point.

All this is sketchy, sometimes caricatured. But with problems. The first plus is the actors. Lowe is really similar to Putin. Paul Dano drags and fits the role well. Everything else in terms of the script is amusingly entertaining and basic for such films. But, it is shown a little strangely. We understand that in the film everyone wants to be closer to the authorities and like they are shown as scum.

Especially the last half hour. We just don't understand why we need them. Dano is not very pleasant as a Persian. Especially considering his thoughts. Rather, you don't care. A crime drama about money sharing?

We've seen this happen many times. As a result, the film is average, interestingly shot, but no more. But the last half hour is probably the most important for viewing in general.

And it's also funny that Yeltsin was shown here. But it's more funny that they wanted to release the film in Russia.

6.2/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

And here are the series.

In fact, there are a lot of plans to see them. Because there are a lot of hype Duffers this year.

By the way, this is their new series. It's also amazing, but he's in the spirit of I'm going to look. But without the action. It's more like something psychological. And more emphasis on relationships. In general, there are enough references. Another plus is the actress. That's so cute. And, accordingly, the finale. You'll understand why.We are waiting for the Town.

7.0/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

It's worth starting with games.

I love some parts and play them on my phone, on PC, and on ps 2 once, and even in 1 part on Sega. T

because I know a lot.Films began to be shot back in the 90s. Part 1, as I wrote in a recent challenge, is worth it. Even though it's outdated. Part 2 is terrible. But the remake is OK for me personally. Even though they tried to get into the plot. The tinplate action saved everything. And in general, the caste is ok. Although again not without controversy. And the sequel came out the same way. There was more tin.

So there's probably a horror part here. Fighting too. And they're all cool. The plot has been reduced here and everything is simple. A villain like Thanos and our heroes. Someone was brought back. And someone was leaked. This is also a plus, by the way. Even baby Sabziro and Scorpio are sensitive. Even though they pushed him in ridiculously. The film is made for the fans and for them. Cage is the local Wolverine here, and the rest of the X-Men are straight.

I caught this vibe. So it's worth watching for the action. The best part? Maybe.

7.2/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

To get knives if they were filmed for a children's audience.

And it's not a joke.

The film is about a shepherd and his sheep. One day, the sheep find him dead. Now they and the local idiot cop are looking for the culprit.Cute is not the right word. But. It's amazing. The best part is the gloominess.

In places, the film is harsh and turns to black humor. But there's not much childish here. And in general, Hugh is here for show. But the script doesn't work great. You get a surprise in the finale, both tension and a little horror. And yet. It's a pretty weird movie. Because I wouldn't overestimate the grades so much.

7.5/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

Faces of Death 2026 is not exactly a remake. Rather a rethink.

In front of us is a Euphoria star that filters content and notices that one of these bloggers is shooting too natural content. So she's looking for who it is and if it's real.On the plus side, this is the main maniac here with the scary lenses. Sometimes the main character. So is the concept of history.

It's very similar to the film Censor. And there's also an original movie in the movie. Unfortunately, that's probably it.Charlie is really as sensitive as Mary's Mother. And the story itself with the main villain that removes banter over the original for the sake of content. After all, they shot something like that and got hype.

And yes. There is no tin here at all, as in the original. Most of the movie is about conversation and search. And then the stupidity on the stupidity of the characters. But according to estimates, perhaps really the best part of the series. If a sequel comes out, I'll see what's in there. But somehow the guys have to go the other way.

6.2/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

You should start with a blogger. If anyone didn't know, director Curry Barker started on YouTube.

I once wrote about his movie Milk and the TV series. Thanks to him, he was now invited to make his own movie. And thanks to this job, they've already been snapped up for various jobs. The first and most important thing. It's a horror movie with a great idea. A guy loves a girl, but he's too slow to stammer. But he bought a magic wand that gives a wish. You'll figure out what I've made a wish for yourself. The film itself is based on the actors.

Inde Navarrette is a godsend. He might even get an Oscar nomination.

The character is not only beautiful, but also insane. Sometimes the film shocks with her actions. And it is with them that horror is connected. Of course, everything comes to the edge more than once. Thanks to the skilfully crafted script, the film gives an interest in what will happen in the finale. And even though I didn't get into the finale. We can safely say that Barker is the new face of the genre, which can drag him. Especially thanks to the ideas.

And it's worth saying that horror is an important part of cinema. Watch and you will always find your own.

7.8/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

Guy Ritchie has been filming for many years.

In some places, it turns out to be a masterpiece, or an incomprehensible average person for streaming. And if earlier I still thought that it was ok. But after the Source, I realized that everything was bad. The money, by the way, should have been released on the 3rd back. And I've reached it now.And unfortunately, this is an unnecessary movie again. Gonzalez and her team are up against villainous villains, and besides Gonzalez, the rest don't give a shit that he's here. And there's no point in such a caste either. The film is moving. He's not sitting. That's why he's not sad.

But if you think it's an action movie. Then it's 10 minutes at the end. Hooray, Richie has shot something that no one needs except his fans.

6.2/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

Let's start right away.

The Mandalorian TV series is a good thing.

So much so that many who didn't even watch Star Wars started watching them because of this series. Despite the fact that the series has already slipped, there is still something cool about it. Especially thanks to the characters. An unflappable hunter with a kind soul and his friend kid from the same race as Yoda.

As a result, we were given a film with them. And unfortunately, the critics are right. The film provides almost nothing new. The film looks like one big episode that doesn't affect anything. The plot was even already in another movie. The heroes must save Jabba's relative (who watched the full meter of the Clone Wars cartoon, he realized what a baby). And now he's not a baby, but an arena fighter, the most interesting character in the movie.

And that's the only interesting thing about something new. Because after everything we've seen, the Hutts aren't the best topic. Otherwise, it's an action movie and the adventures of heroes. Once again, mutual salvation and once again the sensitivity of Pascal.

As a result, it is suitable for fans, no more.

7.0/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

In fact, it's a unique case of the most formulaic horror.

The essence is simple. There is a road and there is a kind of ghost maniac that kills local passersby. Well, then one couple of heroes got lost. There are bloody moments, there are a couple of good fast-paced screamers.

Well, the adrenaline. The spirit itself is simple. But that's no less scary. It is clear that the film was cut by the way. Because it's like something was cut out in the trailer. As a result, it's a solid horror movie in the spirit of Jeepers Creepers.

6.4/10

Opinion on new products - 2026 - 3

Another project that proves that the zombie theme will not die.

Koreans love zombie horror movies so much that they film a lot about them.

So the director returned to his topic many years later. Spoiler alert is no better, but it's not a worse sight either. The film includes action almost immediately and to the end. With almost no rest, a group of people survives in the building.

There are a lot of zombies, they have become scarier. And there is also an interesting topic here (and they wrote nothing new). There are still heroes. But then again, not everyone will survive (and the film sometimes merges some dramatically). Well, the ending in the spirit of Resident Evil was really surprising.

It's definitely not something new, but it's still a great adrenaline rush about my favorite zombies.

Why is it impossible to watch modern TV shows to the end?

Previously, the release of a new season of your favorite show was a real event that had been waiting for months. Right now, streaming sites are spitting out tons of content every week, but it's absolutely impossible to watch it. Let's honestly admit to ourselves that the TV series industry has broken down a lot.

Why is it impossible to watch modern TV shows to the end?

The main problem is the terribly long-drawn-out plots. A story that can be easily told in a couple of hours of screen time is stretched over ten episodes. As a result, the viewer is forced to spend hours watching empty conversations about nothing and silly family dramas that do not affect the plot at all. The authors do this for the sake of views and timekeeping, which is why the overall dynamics suffers.S series Flash - 184 episodes of 40+ minutes each)

Another problem with modern shows is cardboard characters. Instead of complex and contradictory personalities, they give us perfect heroes without a single flaw. They're just not interesting to watch because they don't make mistakes and always do the right thing. A spoiled viewer immediately sees this falsehood and cannot empathize with such characters with all their desire.

Well, the ending is the eternal cliffhangers for the sake of continuation. Instead of making a normal and complete ending, the scriptwriters end the story at the most interesting place. And then the show just gets shut down because of the low ratings, and you're left stranded without ever knowing how it ended.

Of course, there are some units among all this garbage that are really interesting to watch and they are not stretched, but often 70-80 percent are bloated and uninteresting hundreds of episodes

Thanks for reading, I hope it was interesting and you learned something new.

Opinion on new products - 2026-2
Good luck, have fun, don't die

Good luck, have fun, don't die

First, I'll write down who took it off. Gore Verbinski gave us a bunch of masterpieces and just childhood movies. Rango, Pirates of the Caribbean 3 parts, Car hunt, Bell. Yes, I even defended the Medicine for health. But the director withdrew into himself and disappeared for 9 years, giving us this. Sam Rock is in front of us in the form of a homeless man from the future, he recruits random people in order to save the world from an evil AI. Verbinski admitted that he is encouraged by the trend of neural networks and other things. That's why we have Terminator 2.0 and Everything, everywhere and 2.0 at once. With a lot of action, horror and comedy, banter about everything and everything. Well, there's a hint of a sequel. Which of course I'm waiting for, if that's the case. In the meantime, I'm even overestimating one of the most original and daring films.

8.2/10

Dissection of the Demon

Dissection of the Demon

So, another film adaptation of the game, namely indie horror (the name on the poster). According to the game's lore, the girl performs an autopsy in the morgue, along the way she suffers demonic forces. The game is fast-paced and not very long. It's perfect to shoot a chamber horror in a morgue. But unfortunately, all attempts are almost passable. So this one couldn't either. There's a lot in the movie. They seem to be skillfully building an atmosphere. But they waste a lot of words. And they like to spend a lot of time on what we already understood. Which looks stretched. You can watch the movie, but it will quickly slip out of your head.

5.5/10

Wuthering Heights

Wuthering Heights

I've never read the book. But it is considered a classic of books. And then Director Saltburn came over and shot her film adaptation. After reading the opinions, I realized that a lot of things had been changed and changed. It's because the ages are suddenly the same for one character (the one from the movie The Whale), while the others look much older. A lot is missing. It turns out that the story is even darker than the movie. But in general, as I said, I haven't read it. The movie is beautiful, well-acted, but it's not visible here either, as in the film adaptation of the same Romeo and Juliet. Rather, the new 50 shades (like fan fiction). But watchable, unlike other similar works.

6.8/10

The iron Lung

The iron Lung

Gaming blogger Mark Fishbach (foreign Kuplinov) shot his horror. And I also took it off during the game. The game tells about a man who is looking for supplies. You have one room, no windows. Current, sound, and something next to them. A unique experience and atmosphere for horror. And a great implementation. The film also tells about a prisoner who is also looking for supplies, played by Mark Fishbach. Unlike the game, there are a lot of dialogues. They threw a lot of blood, but they also left that atmosphere. Thus, Mark expanded more details for the film. It's up to you to decide whether it's good or bad.

7.0/10

Lord of the Flies

Lord of the Flies

A series based on a cult book that is still relevant in circles. But, as far as I'm concerned, it's outdated. Because there are much stronger projects that show the same thing. We have a bunch of kids who have come to the island and are surviving on it. Since I haven't read the book again and haven't watched any other film adaptations, I'll rate it as it is. The movie could have been better. There is no atmosphere. Children don't play very well, and sometimes they just want to bring it to horror, but something is missing. Rather than a struggle for survival like Kruse, this is a movie about the conflicts of undisclosed characters. Sadly.

6.5/10

Scream 7

Scream 7

So, I must say right away that this is the 2 biggest disappointment of the year among any genre. Scream is one of the most popular franchises in general. It doesn't have any downright terrible parts. 1 and 2 and the worst 3 were interesting. Part 7 turned on the heat and again threw Sydney and now her family into danger. Now she is threatened by an old acquaintance and promised a lot of tin. 1 is already burning badly. And the characters themselves say it. And Lillard himself is kind of overdoing it. I'm glad he's partially back. But there are only a couple of scenes with him. And those are weak ones. In general, the threats and his appearance in the frame do not look like something dangerous. And the threats here are minimal. If earlier there were guesses who and what. Although there were problems with that too. Here, there are almost no murders and almost no tinplate (one scene).

Although I saw more tin in the 4th part. The final gosts are generally a cringe. Again, they just came and merged in just a couple of minutes. In general, this part is a fan film, without much effort. And it's sad that they screwed up what they had been waiting for for many years and deceived everyone.

6.2/10

The psychopathic killer

The psychopathic killer

I haven't read or watched much about the movie. And overall, it made it easier to accept. The trailer was powerful, and one of the creators helped with movie 7 at the time. And now we may have his legacy. Unfortunately, this is not the case. It's a great start. There is Vibe and atmosphere. But by the middle you realize that's it. No matter how much the actress has become, unfortunately, other things in the film work poorly. And the ending is actually stupidly staged. We played Zodiac lightly, but as a slasher, it was too soft. But that's not exactly 10 percent of the critics.

5.5/10

Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Game of Thrones is with us forever. The series is so hyped that it is still being watched. The Dragon House backed up the success. And this series continued.100 years before Deneiris and her struggles. Nowame is a knight who practically lost his father and his story of formation. The creators actually removed a lot of things. There is no intrigue, fantasy in fact, too, just frankness and swearing on the spot. But now it's a self-filmed story. The quality is always the highest. The main question is, is this the best episode in history or Breaking Bad? I haven't watched 2 yet. But 1 is one of the best.

10/10

The Miracle Man

The Miracle Man

Could Marvel do better?

The series gave the answer. Yes and no.

Why yes? The series is despite the genre of the action movie. Not an action movie at all. This is a drama and comedy about the future counterpart of Superman. There's a more vital movie here. And the mentor played by Kingsley (the very clone of the Mandarin from the 3rd part of Iron Man) history helps a lot here. Why not? Because those who are used to and waiting for every Marvel project are waiting for 4 hours of dialogues and jokes. No doubt it's interesting, but not everyone will find this story interesting and not everyone will get it. The story is more than simple and typical.Bottom line: Marvel can find something new somewhere, and that's a good thing. But I wouldn't clean up the old stuff either. Look at the Dispatch game and you'll understand me. That's where you should aim for.

Beauty

Beauty

Substance 2 looks awesome.

I watched it because

1. It's a horror movie.
2. The Murphy series.

1 case is full of blood and tin. And in general, body horror. 2. Although it may sound controversial now, it still looks interesting. We have a virus in front of us that gives you youth after sex. Makes you ultra-powerful. There are many heroes. 2 agents, a black nerd who will fulfill a dream, and even Ashtan Kutcher who returned to the cinema. By the way, the series has already attracted many people for 1 episode. On the downside, someone didn't like the frankness and possibly the thrash of the series. The average grades depend on that. But 1 personally plays a role in the series for me, and 2 offers an unusual experience. That's why it's a great series with a great implementation.

 7.0/10

The bride!

The bride!

I love horror movies.

I am glad that they have grown to more.

I am glad that they are being given a rethink and a large budget (80 lakhs).

But it depends on how it looks. This is a reimagining of the Bride of Frankenstein, only with a bunch of everything put together. Melodrama and dancing like Joker 2, Bonnie and Clyde, Chucky's Fiancee of Cruelty and much more. And the cast is powerful. Bale, Buckley, Gyllenhaal. The last one just seems to be there. Most of all, Buckley can be singled out for predicting an Oscar. She certainly looks desirable to many here. But she often overplays and her character is not very pleasant. But even that can be tolerated. The main mistake of the film is its pace. He is so strange that everyone and everyone is fasting. It's action, it's tin, it's melodrama. And you can see that there is something to praise. But after the finale, it's clear that we have more of a passing movie in front of us.

6.3/10

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal man

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal man

By the way, I've watched at least 1 season.

But that was a long time ago.

And we've come to the finale (almost) of the series in the form of a movie. Shelby has retired. But the echoes of the past are still with him. Now he has to help his son with his problem. It's a good, though not perfect ending to the series' story. The first part reveals the hero more psychologically, and the second part returns him to his prime. It gives us the action and the very coolness of the original series. The film is imperfect only because it devotes a lot of time to drama. And in general, his son, played by Keoghan, is not him at all, and fades a lot against his background. I don't see the point in continuing.

7.8/10

The military machine

The military machine

Finally, horror in the spirit of a Predator.

Once again, we have a squad and a monster in front of us that is now openly hunting for heroes. In fact, the dismemberment was delivered the same thing. A cool hero too. There is action. But of course everything is weaker. The characters of the 2nd plan are just there. And a lot of things fall short of the standard. But for this, many people like this. That you watched it and enjoyed it.

6.8/10

Baby

Baby

Hello everyone, my name is Baby and I'll tell you how to scream goida.

We take any young guy and throw him into a trench. He'll take sides right away. Even though he doesn't see the other one. While goida is screaming with an enemy alien (no kidding), he will kill and look for his mother. And in the end, he realizes everything. Bravo.

Goida.

But now, seriously. Absolutely brazen and full of movie nonsense. At first, everything is OK. The hero goes to look for his mother. Does not realize the sides. For here both sides, without joking, are shown as scum. Especially when he comes to their headquarters where (attention) a deaf warrior points a gun at them. Would you trust yourself to be guarded by someone like that? And 1. And yes, the hero immediately takes one side. Because (attention), that's what they told him.

Are there fascists there, not ours? And yes. We must definitely talk about Russians and ours. And to say that they are bombing, not us.We open any z-channel and read the news about arrivals. Positive reactions and phrases like, yes, there they are. Bucha, the very playground where the children died. Mariupol, which is featured in the film....

We recall how the documentary film 10 days in Mariupol showed how Ukrainians protect the people.

Where the shots come from both sides, but from one. Where the Z tank shoots at a peaceful house, where it is heard on the radio that the cameraman of this film is being hunted. The film is so powerful that so far nothing has been shown better than it.And, of course, a kiss with a foreigner. Sometimes they are bad in the Ukrainian army, but now our elephants have already become Russian. Then why are you dispersing that you are fighting with them? Well, the ending where the hero is still captured by the troops of Azov (yes, they are deliberately poking them here, it's amazing that they don't poke them with their tattoos) and there, guess what?

Yes, they are scum that kill their own, and they are also as stupid as possible if they give (attention) weapons to prisoners. Well, do not forget that this is 1 moment. Not even the whole movie. Is 1 moment enough to take everyone for it?And the sweetest part. There is a bad Benderite and a bad flag of Ukraine in the apartment of the hero's brother. And also (I'm not kidding) they showed the veteran that he is a tough communist and says that he has been tolerating fascists for 8 years and bullies them in every possible way.In the end, it's a mediocre movie. Especially considering the feedback from people. It wasn't the critics or the Film Search that gave him 7.8.

And people who write the same about shots and explosions from 2 sides and not 1. Where they write about the omission of what is not even there. And that's not all yet.Guess why the main actor played the main character? On March 5, 2025, a criminal case was opened against him in connection with the length of time for evading military service. So think about it.

Semitone

Semitone

One of the most anticipated horror films of the year. And again from the debutant (Ian Tuason).

A small budget and an idea. Here are podcasters who are listening to recordings. The whole movie is about rooms, and more often than not just one. The main character and her sick mother are in the room. The film does not frighten with screams, but gradually and slowly frightens with sounds. The sound is the main thing in the story. The further we go, the more interesting it will be to see the finale. The critics got the joke, but the audience got the opposite. The ending is abrupt and doesn't really give anything away. They still haven't explained to us what and who. And that's a good thing. If you follow the inspiration of the director, then this is a horror based on kripipast. Let's say Skiramarink.

Therefore, you have to understand or figure out many things yourself.I'll personally give the director a chance. We are waiting for his Paranormal phenomenon.

7.0/10

On a chain

On a chain

A new work directed by Jan Komas.

The one who took off the Body of Christ.

And as the genre claims, his first horror.Unfortunately, the latter is only conditional here. The film is simpler than it seems. The film is about a family that tries to reform its son through extreme measures. The son is a brawler. But he tolerates a lot. For the first time, the actors are a plus. Especially Graham, and especially Riseborough. The latter has been transformed. Scripted, the film also provides intrigue and reflection. But the ending is controversial. Personally, I understood him. But you expect more than that.

7.0/10

The End of the World project

The End of the World project

I doubted from the trailer that I would get in. Yes. It's a great movie, but there are doubts.

We have a simple teacher in front of us. Which has become very important for the government in one issue. Namely, to save the Earth. But he won't do it alone. He will also find help in the form of a single being. In general, yes. It's a great adventure. The idea is quite common. We saw something like this in Interstellar. But there are no interesting planets or facts here. It's like a chamber movie. But the Martian is not here. There is a good chemistry between Gosling and the creature. It's silly in places. Cute. But that's it. By the way, the question is also quite banal, as is the ending. But, in defense, I will say that it is from such that many people will get pleasure. Unless, of course, they sit for almost 3 hours.

I'm going to look for 2

I'm going to look for 2

I'm glad we're ready for the sequel.

It's sad that I had to wait almost 7 years. And judging by the sequel.

You could have taken it off earlier. Still, it's a pity that the directors didn't shoot Scream 7. The film began at the end of 1. The heroine, now with her sister, is abducted by other relatives and is playing hide-and-seek again. In fact, it is clear why the sequel is being scolded. The film has lost its intimacy. But the plot hasn't changed. But the movie is still full of action, blood, and funny Satanists that are very obtuse. The film expands the rules and the world. And it gives a hint of a triquel. I hope it will be like this.Newt is so cute.

7.2/10

Jumpers

Jumpers

And here is the first possible Oscar nominee in 2026.

We're looking at a mix of Hunting Season, Avatar, and I'm blushing.

The main character loves animals very much and wants to protect them from evil workers. And then, as if next to scientists, friends made it so that it would be possible to transfer the mind into a robot. And the heroine began to help the locals, and rather in vain. There's a lot of humor here. And most importantly, a lot of black. Don't even be afraid to kill the animals in the frame, but rather the opposite. And the animals themselves aren't cute anymore. It's all good and bad. Everyone has their own rules. And there is a balance. In case of violation, of course, house. Especially for the heroine that it's a whole drama. Well, in general, I especially want to single out the villain. They made it really creepy here. They were able to catch up with the horror.Well, briefly about some opinions. Many people are very responsible for drawing.

Like a wild robot, many people liked it, but the presentation is the same. I personally did not see the similarity. But I understand that animation can be everyone's favorite. Well, it is not clear why many did not understand the conflict of history.

8.0/10

They're coming for you.

They're coming for you.

I am very glad that our directors are releasing a lot of new things in the West this year.

And I'm glad it's not shit yet. So Kirill Sokolov (Dad die) released his I'm going to look.Zazie Beetz checked into the hotel for work. But later he finds out that they are sectarians and want to take her to themselves. There's a very bloody action movie here. With excellent staging. Something in the spirit of Tarantino, who did this more than once. This is also the first time that the genre has been deceived. If you've highlighted the trailer. Then you were slightly deceived. It's not an action movie. A fantasy or fantasy action movie. And in the final, the boss is the pig's head.

And accordingly, it betrays coolness. Otherwise, that's all. It's worth watching the movie for the action and maybe the Beats in your underpants. But personally, I think that's the kind of movie people watch.

7.0/10

Deadly beautiful

Deadly beautiful

Another fitting in the form of a horror thriller about hide-and-seek and action. There are a lot of heroines this time. And they're ballerinas. There's also a lot of trash. It didn't go down much in places. They actually arrived at a hotel in the middle of nowhere. The conflict is ridiculous. And when you realize that heroines don't die at all, it's just weird. And yet. If you can watch, then you can take a look 1 time. I'm glad that Uma is still playing somewhere. But her projects are controversial.

6.2/10

Super Mario 2

Super Mario 2

I will recall the opinion about part 1. This is a movie that was initially expected to raise a lot of money. There are a lot of fans. And I'm not one of them. I'll even say that the series is overrated. Therefore, part 1 is a good and easy adventure where there is room for a fan, and who does not know what is here, I can easily understand many things. Although all this is revealed on a thin level.

The sequel makes it even worse. He's pushing so much fan service and so many references that there's nothing to say about the plot here. It's Star Wars, but not with characters like that. Yeshi appeared. So he's just here. They also gave me a princess. So she's almost not in the movie. They gave me a new villain, but in fact he's faded. And yet, the film works well with the characters and also with the locations. Now there's a sea of everything. Sometimes it's a desert, sometimes it's a casino, sometimes it's a dinosaur running around. It wasn't boring. But I don't think it's worth waiting for success like in part 1. Although I'm glad that part 2 has already been watchable. But it's still a fan thing. But at least not the level of 5 nights with Freddy.

7.0/10

The disappearance of Josef Mengele

The disappearance of Josef Mengele

Our director has been showing his work abroad for 3 years now.

Kirill Serebrennikov has made a biographical film again. This time it's about one of the most brutal killers in history.First of all, I would like to mention August Diehl. The person is generally unrecognizable. One of his best roles.

The movie itself, from the beginning of posturing to the crackle of old age somewhere in Africa.First of all, the movie is black and white. In the second, he often jumps along the timeline. And 3, unfortunately, is not very memorable. As if the film has nothing to say. You want to see not only the screams and fears of old age, but something deeper. It's like you've read a book just by the cover. Although there could have been more movies for the Oscar. Well, this is the main problem of the film. Just like Limonov. And even Tchaikovsky, who came to me very much, suffers from the same part here. But I'm glad that the director continues to make films.

6.8/10

Shyaskunov's cameo is unexpected.

That's the drama.

That's the drama.

And that's the most unexpected thing I've seen this year.

Ari Astaire is producing, directing 2 horror films and a trailer that I haven't watched.

And what's in front of us?For starters, yes, it's a melodrama. A chance encounter in a cafe and 2 strange people met each other. But there are more and more oddities. Sometimes you see it as a comedy. And then it turns out to be horror. And in some places they really strain and conceal something. And yet. The director loves multigenrealism, so it's not the main thing. The main thing is chemistry, script and actors. And both are powerful here. I hope at least this time the director will be given more awards.

Are the Sinister Dead the best horror franchise?
The Sinister Dead (1981)

The Sinister Dead (1981)

Despite the fact that I immediately start with part 1, the story of the sinister begins in the 70s, namely with a short meter In the woods (1978). It was then that Raimi tried the theme of the dead. If Sinister is literally an amateur movie, then it's just very amateur, but there are fruits.

Raimi shot not only one of the coolest debuts for 350 thousand, but also gave an example to many how to start a career. Especially if the poster says Stephen King approves. The plot here is also banal, a group of people, some kind of wilderness and a strange reason to go there. A basement and a book, and as a result, a random summoning of demons that make you evil.

The main reason for the success is the atmosphere, the way it's shot. Even when the characters want to leave. you realize that there is no way out, it scares you more than what will happen next. The tin is big here, the demon that flies after you, the beheading, some actions of the branches with the girl, filmed so on the edge. Closer to the final, you realize how tough everything is. And the symbol itself is Ash, it's just a random survivor. A masterpiece. No, it's already a classic.

The Sinister Dead (1987)

The Sinister Dead (1987)

The sequel took a long time. But if you've been watching, you've been waiting for the remake.

The film begins with Ash and his girlfriend who went to the same house, while the hero does not remember the events of part 1, but he remembers the demon inside him. The main difference of the part is that they added more black humor, more Ash, and finally not a whiner, but a cool Groovy man who wets demons. If there was a remake, then this is the perfect version with a final boss and improved scenes. The demons are still scary, and the big-budget effects have become juicier and bigger, especially when you watch it 2 times.

Another big plus is the reserve for time travel, thus the 3rd part is expected very much and as for me it is epic.

8.0\10

The Sinister Dead 3: Army of Darkness (1992)

The Sinister Dead 3: Army of Darkness (1992)

Another long wait. And again, the budget has increased. Part 3 is not only an action movie, not only a black comedy and horror, but also a fantasy. The days of knights and castles, and Ash are still among the dangers, but now people are dangerous too.

Demons are already familiar here. Ash himself has already experienced, and despite his anger and sometimes stupidity, he is still a hero who saves lives. Now he's evil himself, there's a lot of very funny humor, and the effects have become richer, even though they're already very outdated, some of the ideas look fresh and unique. The chainsaw is in place.

I also note that there are a lot of Sinister games, some pretty cool, and some are already very outdated. But in some cases, I still advise you to lose.

It's terrible that they wanted to end the trilogy with Ash falling into oblivion, but after that the ending was replaced with the one where he kills the dead again. For me, this is the best and favorite part. As well as an unexpectedly epic ending to the story.

8.2\10

The Sinister Dead: The Black Book (2013)

The Sinister Dead: The Black Book (2013)

Yes, despite the completion, something is always returned. The hype was big, the director is new, but Bruce and Sam are in the producers and are overseeing the future director of Don't breathe and Someone Else: Romulus. And it turned out well.

This is actually a sequel, as the post-credits scene tells us. And so it's the same, but now instead of a party, the motivation of the characters is to help the sister of one of the characters live another day without her favorite injections in a vein. And the characters are different and even stand out more in the game than in the original. The remake left a tin can, sometimes it seems that this is the cruelest part of the series. Every blow you feel, every demon scares you no less. But there is a problem.

Some scenes repeat what we've already seen, and those that repeat me are worse shot. The shock content is still there, but when they showed us the new Ash, it was immediately drained, and the one that survived was the one that only got in the way and sat in the basement for the whole movie, and also came to life in a very strange way. I personally don't like it. Yes, as a remake it's great, but those who watched the original understand what the original dragged even without motivation and more tin.

It is worth noting that there was a remake before this part. From India and Japan. The damn fool in hell even repeated some scenes and was even filmed in his own way. 2 I recommend, 1 will not do anything good.

7.3\10

Ash vs the Sinister Dead (2015-18)

Ash vs the Sinister Dead (2015-18)

A little bit about the series. He came out powerful. Judging by the ratings, it's generally the best part of the series. Ash is in place, there are new heroes, new dead, and still horror and humor. The stupidest thing is that the series was closed without completing Ash's story, and it's especially sad to hear it after saying that Ash will no longer be there, except in the comics. And judging by the actor's condition, it was also a sad ending.

8.5\10

Rise of the Sinister Dead (2022)

Rise of the Sinister Dead (2022)

Despite the fact that the sequel was popular with many, and the series was good, the sequel did not come out again soon. And it can't be called a continuation. But there is something new.

Now the location is a city, or rather an apartment, the book is in place, as are the dedicates. A certain family finds a book and off it goes. By tradition, they are sinister in place, as well as tin. Some scenes are really scary and you turn your head away from them. Especially Sutherland, whom I noticed back in the Vikings series, immediately shines. Her character is both scary and well-designed. And the ending itself with her (part of it) can be strongly emphasized.

However, there is still a fan service and those who dreamed that there would be something new, then there is not much of this. Yes, now the family is heroes, yes, a new location and a boss. But in general, it doesn't do anything, rather they changed the wrapper. Although this wrapper is made in such a way that the interest has not disappeared, although again the same first parts, I am eager to review much more.

7.5\10

The Sinister Dead: Inferno (2026)

The Sinister Dead: Inferno (2026)

The current part has already won the hearts of many and established the status of the peak of the sinister. Critics and viewers have always positively evaluated the series. Except that the Kinopoisk of the Black Book gave a very low rating, but I still did not understand why.

It's worth starting with the problems. Family, motivation, and a home in the wilderness again. Just a bigger house. Just like in the Uprising, there's something new in the wrapper. The sinister ones searched for the dagger and searched for it in the family home of the researcher who wrote down those notes, warning travelers against future readings. So there's a book here, but just like that. The deadlines became worse in design, but they still didn't spare anyone, and the French director threw a lot of tin and blood. Comedy is also not deprived, although it is not enough (but funny) They even brought back the boss, even though he doesn't give anything to the series.

The cool thing is that the series gave a deep message, the loss of a family member and grief were filmed perfectly, the heroine, although behaving strangely in places, is still revealed, and plays perfectly. Yes, but we looked at it the same way before, so there's nothing big. It's cool that the creators are giving new directors a chance, but they still can't give anything more and can't explain how someone turns into a demon and someone lives. And with so many survivors, are we going to collapse or not?

7.3\10

P.S. The post-credits scene gave a hint of him

The Wrath of the Sinister Dead

The Wrath of the Sinister Dead

A little bit about the upcoming film that we are waiting for in 2028. The creators of the series promise to release films more often, and they are already filming this prequel of the entire series, which can finally lead us to how and where the dedites and the book appeared, as well as what a cabin in the wilderness has to do with it. Well, I hope another new director doesn't spoil the series and puts on a great new part again, like all the others before.

Top projects in the series:

2 - The Army of Darkness

Is Scream the main horror franchise?

Wes Craven is a legendary horror director and once he created many franchises. The scream has become special for many. In the 90s, many people were already bored with slashers. And it was as if Krave had taken off a typical one. In fact, this is a parody of them, and we'll find out why and how it happened. (THERE WILL BE SPOILERS)

The Scream (1996)

The Scream (1996)

The beginning of the film is iconic. Drew Barrymore was a strong movie star. But the beginning of the film is literally the banter of those who came for the star on the poster. The main thing is not her at all, but another girl. At the beginning of the film, we are shown a cult call and polls about the genre. As well as a mask, a knife and a black hoodie. All of this immediately became a symbol of the series.

Neve Campbell became the same symbol of the series. A beautiful girl and mysterious murders around her. The police, which doesn't help (first meeting Dewey), the journalist, who is very nosy with questions (Cox), and of course Matthew Lillard, who is overplaying things in a good way. The film itself is not afraid to escalate and bloodily kill victims, and there is ingenuity and absurdity (intentionally).

Especially in the scene where a fan of the rules of the genre talks to 2 (as it turned out) murderers. Even though they're burning hard at the moment, you're still confused about which one of them is the killer. Both Lillard and Scott were beautiful in the image that they are still considered the best goists. Well, the final shot is beautiful.

7.3\10

Scream 2 (1997)

Scream 2 (1997)

Part 1 has become a cash register. 173 million (the 2nd part, by the way, collected almost the same amount). That's why the sequel came out right away. Already at the beginning of the film, there is an iconic scene where Will Smith's wife (then also a star) dies with her boyfriend in the cinema. At the same time, they showed the franchise feature. Now we have a movie inside a movie. Like they made a movie based on the events (a franchise after and even a book). There's also a cameo by Heather Graham, by the way.

Sydney still lives in Woodsboro (the city of the series) and has found the strength to find another relationship (Jerry O'Connell) And there's this weird guy Cotton (Liev Schreiber) walking around all the time. which requires an interview to help. Well, back to the murder circle.

I liked that Dewey would continue to become a more serious (almost) character. If in part 1 he was a fool from whom there was no protection, now he helps a lot. Well, there's a joke with him about the fact that he's a V.S.E.. But he's actually alive and well. By the way, in part 1, they tried to kill him right away, but the audience was against it.

But not everything is so rosy. Yes, there are a lot of very fast-paced murders, draining the character of part 1 and almost draining the others. In general, this is 1 out of 2 films when I really thought that they could kill everyone. But when we find out who the killer is, that's fine. A random schoolboy played by Timothy and Loomis' mother, which is almost not in the film. Of course, the actress plays well, but it didn't help her much (for me personally to remember. But in general, the film just swaps the moments of part 1, albeit perfectly.

7.2\10

Scream 3 (2000)

Scream 3 (2000)

The finale had to wait. Well, like the finale, almost. But the problem was immediate. Unfortunately, she came from life. In one of the schools, children were brutally murdered and for a while it was necessary to remove from the films similar scenes to those of the Scream. And it's very visible.

Sydney has completely withdrawn into herself now. Now she lives in secret. But, (for the first time in the series) then her mother's ghost haunts her, hinting at future trouble. Yes, this is the first and so far the last film where there is a straight mystery. And then there's the most violent (in terms of deaths) goust in the series. Is it deserved?

By the way, the nominal one in this part wanted to bring back Lillard, like the one who took revenge on Sydney all the time, but it didn't work out. That's why we have a finale where the main killer is her relative (interesting) that he takes revenge on the heroine because of her mother. Despite the scale, the film is more like an action movie, because there are no deaths where necessary. Yes, there are many of them. Now the characters of the movie and the movie inside the movie are running from the killer. Lots of cameos. Jack and silent Bob are especially strange. And the result is a finale where it seems like a straight finale, but it looks ridiculous. And Sydney's not really here.

6.5\10

Scream 4 (2011)

Scream 4 (2011)

Scream 4 became the saddest in the series. Yes, despite the fact that he is the funniest and most violent in the series. But it's simple. The director of the series has died. As I remember, I read the news myself and waited for part 4. And yes, if I'm not mistaken, it was from part 4 that I started watching Scream. And that's when I didn't understand the outrage from the film.

The film was shot for the sake, literally, of the requests of the fans. 11 years have passed, and no one has returned the series. In fact, it's a harmless sequel for the sake of the fan. Sydney and the others feel the murders again. Sydney is trying to protect her niece from a possible killer (yes Scream 7?). And yes, for most of the film, Emma and others are more characters in the film, because the aversion of the eyes. Yes, the old characters are still here a lot, but they are in danger, there were a lot of such scenes. But most importantly, it's the only part of the movie where I didn't know who the killer was.

Let's remember the beginning of the movie when they showed a bunch of fake beginnings with a bunch of cameos by the stars. Well, let's remember how bloody they were. Yes, I felt the danger of the knife right there. And then Emma Roberts and one of the Culkins turned out to be murderers. The film does not spare the characters, because there are also a lot of deaths, and for the first time they almost showed a bad ending, literally a miracle saved Sydney. Well, yes, for me she is the number 1 of the gost series.

Well, I recommend the film to be even bigger than the original.

The Scream (2015-19)

The Scream (2015-19)

The fees for the 4th part were the weakest in the series. But after the series was returned through the series. The series was a spin-off. We have a different city and characters in front of us. But apart from the mask, the rest is a pretty high-quality series that had a vibe series and even interesting maniacs inside (there was not only gost). Well, by season 3, the series was blown away, so it was closed.

The Scream (2022)

The Scream (2022)

And yet the series is alive. Many years later, we were given a sequel. Well, or as they joke inside (riquel). The heroes are new, but the old ones will help and are nearby. Sydney doesn't live in the city anymore. But he will come to help the new heroine.

Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett were perfect for the directorships. 1 and most importantly, they realized that the old is good, but the new is also needed. Loomis's daughter, who sees her father (mysticism again?), and the one who doesn't die at the beginning of the film (the canon is broken). And a relative of a horror fan and a company.

In general, there is a lot and an incredible amount of creativity. From the submission of murders to new heroines. Yes, Barrera will reveal himself more in part 6, but the makings are already there. I am especially glad that finally, for the first time since part 2, the forces appeared to remove and kill the hero of the franchise. Dewey F. And yes, thanks to this, you strongly understand that the stakes are high here. Well, thank you, again the cliche, the heroine's killer boyfriend and one of her friends who will later receive an Oscar (which) will be another cool gust of the series. Well, there's an Oscar in advance.

Well, here's an interesting topic of accepting the heroine. Like her father is helping her here (look and you'll understand) to cope with the past. Even though it makes itself felt in the final. Well, I think that the film is a little fucked up strangely.

Scream 7 (2023)

Scream 7 (2023)

The sequel still went to the box office, because everyone was immediately waiting for the new part. As you can see, the screaming is very stable, and it's not even the best part. And the 7th part after the 5th raised the bar and there were many, very many hints about Stu. But this is not Sydney's story (it's not here at all for the first time). They're different characters now.

That's where I got used to the new ones. Because there's something new here. Gawst is dangerous and already sometimes drenches leftist people. And he's not afraid to attack in public. Oh, yes, it's a city now. It's not a quiet town anymore. This is especially noticeable at the beginning of the film where Samara is killed, and then the one who killed is killed.

Sam and Tara are in danger here again. But Gail will also be helped by the old heroine in the person of Kirby (from part 4). She became a police officer here and studies cases. There's a lot of fanaticism here. References and hints that Stu is alive. But we have random people in front of us again. By the way, there are 3 of them for the first time. But one of them killed only 1 person. And 1 of them burns a lot.

The downside is that a lot of things were shown, especially with references. It's unclear why Sam is still squirming. It is unclear why they took the plot from 3 parts and almost the same ending. Well, it's not clear why they wanted to make Sam Gost in part 3 at all if they literally closed the topic again. Yes, and there is such a thing.

And yet, I think it's better than 4 parts, and even more so than 3. It was for this part that many noticed the stability of the series. For now...

Scream 7 (2026)

Scream 7 (2026)

Many people were waiting for Cry 7 right away. But the first problems were already at 6. The main character did not return due to the terms of the contract. And now, because of the words of the main character of this comedy, 2 actresses have left at once. And the directors, and they're not talking. After that, they leaked another one, the one that just dreamed of becoming part of the series.

The director was Kevin Williams, a screenwriter and one of the creators of the series. It's his first time making a movie. Miraculously, the star was returned. And even the old cast was adjusted. Unfortunately, not all of them even made it in the end. Unfortunately, those who have reached it are almost not needed here.

Sydney, her husband, and her daughter are safe now. Sydney is like a heroine from Halloween, traps, protection and more. Even the guns are here. There was 1 trailer released, but a lot was already screaming that we were facing the return of Stu (his voice at the end). But why is there 1 trailer, why is there talk about AI, why have the killers of the series (and the script) been leaked 3 or 4 times? And why is the movie poorly made?

To begin with, I wrote in Cry 4 that Sydney is protecting a relative, it's here. They gave us a museum for fans in the beginning. We've seen this before. They gave me brutal murders, but that was before. At least they're not so bad here either. But most importantly, they brought Stu back. But, God, the characters themselves say that this is nonsense. I'm glad that Lillard is in place and still overplaying (not so well this time) But the finale... the finale, where again there are 2 random people who have stupid motivation. Even the actress herself says it. And they merge them the same way. And fast. And there are even fewer scenes with them than Loomis' mother in 2.

Moreover, the film is very weak on many scenes. It seems like the actress wanted to come back, but it's like you can see how uncomfortable she is. Gail is not much at all. And their bickering is already stupidity. You've known each other for 20 years. Hello.

The funny thing is that the director said Stu was supposed to appear in one scene, like he's alive and there's a hint of part 8. But it was removed. I no longer understand what they will do at 8. Bottom line, the weakest part of the series.

6.2\10

The result and the idea for the 8th part

The result and the idea for the 8th part

Before the results, what should I do in part 8?

It's pretty simple. Get Stu back (fully). Imagine the beginning of the movie, Gail kills goost. But suddenly without a mask, and who is behind it? You've already figured it out for yourself. There's no point in hiding your face now. Sydney is literally being chased by her henchmen (there were hints). Now he's taking revenge. Kirby, Tara and Sam help her (and the company). Yes, I still believe that the studio can bring them back.

And most importantly, to return the tin and the mortality of 3 and 4 parts. Combine a small town and already a city. It's literally a hint that the heroes have nowhere to run. And the craziest thing is to get Dewey back. Like all this time he was deliberately pretending to be dead in order to find the real culprits. Well, the finale is bigger and brighter than the 3 parts. The end will be good, of course. But he will put an end to the franchise. And then you don't have to do anything. Just let it go. But will it happen?

Bottom line: The franchise is truly iconic, so it consistently had both pros and cons. I always found something to hook up with. And thanks to Wes for that. The scream has become a symbol that when there are no ideas, she is always there. Even if it's funny. The scream has taken root so much that, in fact, you can insert a Very scary movie (the working title, by the way, was The Scream). In the same place, the film showed the legacy of the Scream. And it will be reinforced again by a Very scary movie 6.

And judging by the killers' plums, it will be very bantering, funny, and even possibly better than the Scream itself. We're waiting

The best part of the Scream?1

I've watched 8 seasons of Dexter so you don't have to, and I have something to write.

Hello everyone, recently, but as recently as about 3 months ago, in general, what will be in this post, a review or similar reviews for all 8 seasons and my personal incorruptible opinion on them (there are more opinions), so spoilers are provided, in any case, this is a niche post on squadvarchek.

Tonight's the Night

  Tonight's the Night

* * *

Season 1 - The Ice Killer

I actually started watching this series quite by accident. I came across a YouTube short from the fourth season. At that time, I didn't even know what kind of sirik he was, but I kept coming across him anyway. No one I know watched it, so I had to feel it myself.

From the very beginning, we are shown Dexter's double life. At night, he shows his real self. During the day, an ordinary modest and shy guy who comes to work, brings donuts to colleagues and lives as normal a life as possible. By the way, he works for the Miami Police Department on homicides.

Dexter is a laboratory technician who specializes in blood analysis, and he also collects blood from his victims, namely, takes a blood swab from each victim, so blood plays an important if not central role in Dexter's life.

Who exactly is Dexter?

He's basically a serial killer, but not an ordinary psychopath. He acts according to the so-called "code" that his adoptive father Harry instilled in him.

The meaning of the code is quite simple:

1. Not getting caught is the main rule.

2. Do not kill innocent people - only murderers or those who have escaped justice from the authorities should become his victims, but Dexter has repeatedly ignored this rule.

First, he collects evidence, follows the person, makes sure that he really is the killer, and only then arranges his branded room with plastic and photos of the victims, in general, he has a whole ritual.

But so that the series doesn't just turn into a serial killer routine, we're immediately introduced to the main antagonist of the season, the "Ice Killer." It works as cleanly as possible. There is no blood or footprints at the crime scenes, just neatly dismembered bodies. Because of this, there is a theory that he uses a refrigerator truck. Dexter is very interested in him because of his "purity", but the killer himself leaves him clues and reminders of the past, which is why Dex begins to dig into his past and his adoptive father.

In addition, we are shown the ordinary life of the hero. Dexter has a girlfriend, Rita. In fact, he's dating her mostly for cover. Rita has two children, Astaire and Cody, and a rather difficult past with her drug-addicted ex-husband.

At work Dexter has a whole set of characters too.

There's Sergeant Doakes, an ex—military man who doesn't like Dexter from the start, and it's going to be more apparent in the second season.

There is Vince, a fellow lab technician who constantly makes strange and rather vulgar jokes.

There is Angel Batista, one of the detectives, a normal guy, but with his own family problems.

There is also Captain Matthews, a family friend and longtime colleague of Dexter's father.

And then there's the new Lieutenant Lagertha, who was assigned more because she's of Cuban descent.

And of course Dexter's sister, Debra Morgan, who works in vice and really wants to join the homicide squad, she will succeed, because she will help find that truck with the ice killer's refrigerator, which is why she will be promoted from vice to Miami Homicide.

The entire first season, in fact, is built around two lines: Dexter's usual "work" as a serial killer and his attempts to understand who the Ice Killer is and why he is so clearly addressing him.

The series also captures Dexter's own thoughts. We are shown not only the murders and his work in the department, but also how he communicates with Rita's children, with colleagues, and how he tries to look like a normal person.

Because of this, you involuntarily begin to empathize with him. Because on the one hand, he's an ordinary person, and on the other, he's still a serial killer. Even if it is valid according to the code.

The season itself ends quite powerfully. Dexter finds out that the Ice Killer is his brother Brian.
Brian kidnaps Debra and confronts Dexter with a choice: kill Debra and finally embrace his dark side by teaming up with his brother, or remain human and maintain the moral compass that the code once gave him.

And Dexter makes his choice.

You can't be both a hero and a murderer.

You can't be both a hero and a murderer.

Season 2 - The Bay Harbor Butcher

After the events of the first season, Dexter's life was supposed to return to normal. He made a choice between his brother and sister, got rid of Brian, and finally lived by Harry's code. It would seem that you can work quietly again, meet with Rita and go about your business at night.
But the second season quickly shows that the consequences of Dexter's past actions have not gone away.

The main problem begins with the fact that bags of dismembered bodies are found in the ocean. And it quickly becomes clear that this is not some new maniac, but Dexter's own old deeds, which he has been throwing off his yacht for years. The police are launching a massive investigation, and the press is coming up with the big name "The Bay Harbor Butcher."

Dexter, on the other hand, works in the very department that is now looking for him. He analyzes the evidence, helps the investigation and literally stands next to people who are trying to figure out a serial killer, not even suspecting that this killer is standing right in front of them.

At this point, Sergeant Doakes comes to the fore.

In the first season, he just treated Dexter with suspicion and disdain, but in the second it turns almost into an obsession. Doakes is sure that something is wrong with Dexter. He has no evidence, no concrete evidence, but there is a strong feeling that this quiet laboratory assistant is hiding something very dark. He starts following Dexter, checking on him, literally following him around. And it's precisely because of this that the tension in the season increases greatly, because for the first time a character appears who can really expose Dexter.

At the same time, the hero's ordinary life begins to crumble. Rita notices that he often disappears at night. Besides, she gets a message from Paul. He claims that he was not injected with methadone and that he was framed, but Dexter is to blame for everything. Rita, of course, does not believe him, but still begins to doubt and even checks the house.. Dexter has to come up with an explanation for his behavior, and he chooses a rather unusual option and starts pretending to be a teenager. It sounds absurd, but for Rita, this explanation turns out to be even more understandable than the truth. As a result, he starts going to anonymous drug meetings, where he meets a girl named Laila, who becomes his addiction counselor. Dexter and Lila have contact, or rather, Dex is cheating on Rita with Lila, Lila is a kind of freedom for him, with whom he can share his hobbies, and Rita is a safe, normal life. Laila will play a rather important role in the future.
Meanwhile, the investigation of the "Bay Harbor Butcher" is getting more and more complicated. The FBI is getting involved in the case of Frank Landy, an unspoken rock star among special agents, who will get very close to the truth, and many still think that Landy knew everything in advance, but here it's just a theory. Dexter's sister will work with Landy on the Bay Harbor butcher case, which will even make her fall in love with him.

Dexter has to act more and more carefully, because now not only the local cops are looking for him, but also the feds. But it is Doakes who remains the most dangerous. At some point, he starts getting too close to the truth and literally catches Dexter in the act. After that, Dexter has to act as harshly and coolly as possible, during the fight Dexter knocks out Doakes and locks him in an old cabin in the middle of the swamps.

And that's where a rather interesting dilemma arises. According to the code, Dexter can't kill Doakes. He's not a killer or a criminal, but a cop who's just doing his job. But if you let him go, then Doakes will immediately turn him in. It turns out to be a dead end: you can't kill, you can't let go, Dexter was thinking about pinning all the murders on Doakes. At that moment, it was a stupid idea, since Doakes could easily refute everything Dex said, Dexter was only helped by the fact that Dexter's collection was found in Doakes' car, namely those very blood smears, but it didn't help much before the trial, in general, it's just a dead end.
Here Laila intervenes in the story. She gradually realizes what kind of person Dexter really is, and unlike him, she has no moral doubts at all. For her, murder is not a tragedy or a dilemma, but simply a solution to a problem. In the end, everything ends rather cruelly: the hut where Doakes was held explodes, he dies, and the police officially announce that it was Doakes who was the Bay Harbor Butcher.

Dexter's crimes are simply blamed on him. Technically, Dexter is getting away with it again. The investigation is closed, the department considers the case resolved, and life seems to be returning to normal. Only Lagertha tries to refute all the evidence against Doakes, but in vain.

In general, this is a big plot hole, if it weren't for Lila, then Dexter would either have to break the code or face trial, and Lila is literally an easy solution to problems for Dex, and for the plot as a whole, if this character hadn't been introduced, then everything could have ended in the second season.

The second season is probably my favorite, there's a real pressure on Dexter, Landy and Doakes are getting closer and closer. And if you could get rid of Brian with a knife, then you already have to use deduction, psychology, and a number of other skills just to avoid getting caught.

In general, this is the best season, but the finale, of course, kills with stupidity, the writers did not find any other solution to eliminate Doakes so if Dex had killed Doakes, we could have seen the fracture inside the character, and also in the first season we were shown Dexter's moral choice, between humanity or becoming a monster, right there although they give us the moral that Dex needs to either kill Doakes or go to trial, he doesn't solve it himself, but another character decides everything, as a result, friendship will become the new theme of season 3.

Season 3 - Friendship and Miguel Prado

After a rather intense second season, the series changes direction a bit. If earlier the whole story was built around the fact that Dexter could be exposed, then in the third season another topic appears: can a serial killer even have something like friendship?

The season starts off rather casually for Dexter. He goes to the next target of a man named Freebo, a drug dealer who is suspected of murder. Dexter, as usual, collects evidence, prepares everything for his ritual, but everything does not go exactly according to plan, although Freebo is killed by Dexter, but Miguel Prado, the assistant district attorney, who has personal scores with Freebo, suddenly bursts into the house. As a result of this whole situation, he partially becomes a witness to what Dexter is doing. And that's where the fun begins. Instead of getting scared or trying to turn Dexter over to the police, Miguel begins to take an interest in him. Moreover, he gradually begins to admire what he is doing. Dexter. For him, this is not a horror or a crime, but almost justice. After all, Dexter, in fact, kills those who deserve to be punished anyway, just does it faster and more efficiently than the system.

Over time , a rather strange friendship begins to form between them. Miguel sees Dexter as a man who can really change the world for the better, and Dexter, in turn, feels for the first time in his life that he can share his secret with someone. Before that , he was always one-on-one with his "dark companion," well, except for a small episode with Laila, which is why he essentially gave his addiction such a nickname. Dexter hasn't had someone who knows the truth yet, but he's also trying to get involved.

At the same time, another big change is taking place in Dexter's life. Rita is pregnant. This is unexpected news for Dexter, to put it mildly. He's already struggling to cope with the role of a normal person, and then there's the prospect of becoming a father.

All season long, he's been trying to figure out if a man like him can even be a normal father and husband.

There are changes at work too. Debra gets a new partner, Joe Quinn, who at one time annoys her and at the same time attracts her, because of Joey, an internal affairs officer approaches Debra, saying that Quinn is being treated as a corrupt policeman in the case, she wants her to help her, but Debra refuses, and she threatens her with That it might hit her career, but it won't stop her from further advancing in her career, she also decided this season that she decided to stop drinking, smoking and not having sex, but working on a case. the so- called"Skinner" is a killer who takes people's skin off. She starts dating the informant Anton, and because of this relationship, she almost got caught up in her job, but at the end of the season, she finally becomes a real detective.

But the main problem of the season is gradually becoming apparent- Miguel doesn't really understand the code the way he understands it. Dexter. For Dexter, the code is a system of restrictions that helps him survive and follow the unspoken rules. He only kills those who are truly guilty and who have escaped justice. For Miguel, it's just a convenient excuse to kill. He begins to like the power that gives him the opportunity to decide who should live and who should not. And it quickly becomes clear that Miguel is starting to get out of control. He kills a man who doesn't fit the code, simply because he interfered with his work. For Dexter, this is becoming a point of no return. He realizes that he made a huge mistake by telling someone about his secret. As a result, the friendship between them turns into a confrontation. Miguel tries to play with Dexter, manipulate him, threaten to reveal his secret if he doesn't cooperate. But the problem is that he underestimates who he's dealing with.

There are changes at work too. Debra gets a new partner.Joe Quinn. At one time, he annoys her, and at another, on the contrary, attracts her. Because of Quinn, an internal affairs officer approaches Debra and says that Joey is being considered a possible corrupt police officer, and asks Debra to help with the investigation. She refuses, after which she gets a pretty direct hint that this could affect her career. But this does not prevent her from further advancing in her career.
Debra decides to put her life in order, stop drinking, smoking and stop sleeping with random people. However, all this falls apart pretty quickly, because during the investigation of the so-called "Skinner" killer, who takes people's skin off, she begins dating an informant named Anton. This relationship almost creates serious problems for her at work, but at the end of the season she still gets what she was aiming for, becoming a real detective.

The season finale is pretty predictable, but still intense. Dexter realizes that the only way to stop Miguel is to kill him. As a result, Miguel ends up on Dexter's desk.

The third season dropped compared to the first and second, in these two seasons we were shown Dexter's past, there were interesting antagonists, the unsurpassed Brian Moser, who is still considered better than Dexter, and also probably the best antagonist, because he is not like everyone else, Sergeant Doakes, he is not a murderer, but just a man who I did my job, and I almost completed it.

The topic of friendship in the third season, although interesting, quickly breaks down, in season 3 there is no tension, drama and emotions like in the past, there is no moral dilemma, we can only see what happens if a serial killer gives the power to kill a person who does everything only for profit, and there is a logical outcome, but the authors will correct In the next season, season 4, the theme of the new season will be family life, as Dexter and Rita get married at the end of the season.

I will do what I want, when I want, and with whom I want. Count on it!

I will do what I want, when I want, and with whom I want. Count on it!

Season 4 - Family and Trinity

After a rather weak third season, the creators pull themselves together and release the fourth, which many still consider to be the best season of the entire Dexter.

And, to be honest, it's hard to argue with that. If the third season looked like a slightly protracted experiment with the theme of friendship of a serial killer, then the fourth returns the series to what it does best: tension, psychological games and the very unpleasant consequences of a double life.

For me, this season was the starting point of my acquaintance with the series, because it was thanks to him that I first heard about Dexter.
By this point, Dexter had completely drowned in his double life. On the one hand, he is still the same maniac with a code who methodically tracks down murderers and kills them on his desk. On the other hand, he is now a full-fledged family man. He has a wife, a house, a child, and an attempt to look like a completely normal person. And it is here that the series finally begins to honestly show that it is almost impossible to combine all this in practice. If earlier problems in his life appeared because of work, colleagues or relationships, now that's it. it is much more banal and this makes the banal household even more difficult.

Dexter moves in with Rita, and they have a baby. Garrison, who naturally demands constant attention. As a result, Dexter hardly sleeps, constantly walks tired, makes mistakes at work, and falls asleep during his nighttime outings, and generally begins to look like a man who is about to fall apart. And this, by the way, is one of the most mundane, but at the same time the most realistic conflicts of the season.

Against the background of all this, the main antagonist of the season, Arthur Mitchell, better known as "Trinity", appears. And this is where the scriptwriters literally get into the top ten. Because Trinity is, in fact, Dexter's potential future. The same serial killer, only he lived with it much longer. He also has a family, children, a home and an image of a respected person. Only if you look closely, it becomes clear that his psyche is completely broken. He has his own rituals, his childhood traumas, and a very strange sense of control over life. And watching Dexter begin to literally obsessively study this man is actually very interesting. Because for the first time in a long time, he doesn't just want to remove another target according to the code. He's trying to figure out how it's even possible to live a double life for so many years and not collapse completely.

And then the series gradually begins to break the illusion. Because Arthur's ideal family is a facade. In public, he's an exemplary father and the husband participates in charity and looks like an exemplary citizen. At home , he behaves like a real tyrant, keeping the whole family in constant fear. And the more Dexter watches this, the more he begins to realize that his own dream of a normal family life with such activities , to put it mildly, looks like self-deception. The tension is really getting a lot more this season. Dexter begins to infiltrate Arthur's life under an assumed name Kyle Buttler. He is gradually gaining confidence in the family. Mitchell becomes something of a family friend. Up to a certain point, Dexter even tries to understand To understand Arthur's logic and motives. But when he finally sees what 's going on inside the Mitchell family, all this analysis quickly ends. At one point, he almost kills Arthur right there, but still holds back. The most unpleasant part starts next. Because it turns out that Trinity is also far from an idiot. He gradually begins to suspect Dexter, and then completely comes out to him. At one point, Arthur even comes straight to the police station and talks calmly with Dexter, already knowing who he really is. And this is a really significant moment of the season. Because before that, Dex had no opponents who could get so close to him and still remain so dangerous.

At the same time, the police are hunting for the Trio. Frank Landy returns to the case, who is already retired, but wants to finally catch one of the most famous serial killers. Debra joins him in the investigation. And this is where her serious personal problems begin. The relationship with Anton begins to crack at the seams, because he constantly leaves for another city for work. Against this background, an old bond rekindles between Debra and Landy. But it doesn't last long, of course. When Landy gets too close to The trio even accidentally meets with Arthur in the city, not knowing who he really is, and they have to pay for it. At night, the Trio's daughter attacks them in the parking lot. For Landy, this attack becomes lethal. Debra survives, but remains in a difficult emotional state both because of Landy's death and because of guilt towards Anton. The season finale, as befits Dexter, looks like a victory at first. Arthur tries to escape from Miami, but Dexter still catches up with him and puts him on his branded table. The hunt for the Trinity itself was quite difficult, but in the end it all ends with the usual ritual. But there is one problem, the consequences. The trio was no ordinary maniac who just happened to get in Dexter's way. This is a man who has been killing for almost thirty years and perfectly understood how fear and revenge work. And when Dexter returns home after his so-called victory, he finds something he wasn't ready for at all. Rita lies dead in the bathroom, with her veins cut, just like the Trio killed their victims in their murder cycle. And next to it, in a bathtub full of blood, sits little Harrison. And this is one of the most powerful and violent moments of the whole series. Because it 's a mirror image of Dexter's own past. When Harry found him, just like a little kid, sitting in a pool of his mother's blood. It was only then that Brian Moser was with him. Now his own son was in that place . Dexter just stands there in shock, picks Harrison up and calls the police.

The fourth season really gave the series that peak, which it will never come close to again. After that, Dexter will gradually start to slide. But it was the fourth season that remained in the fans' memory as the very moment when the series was at its maximum potential.

Hello Dexter Morgan

Hello Dexter Morgan

Season 5 - Consequences

The fifth season is essentially based entirely on one question, what to do next after Rita's death. Because last season's finale literally turned Dexter's whole life around. Now he is not just a man with a double life, but a widower with three children and a baby in his arms, who witnessed the same trauma that Dexter himself once went through. Dexter has been in a rather strange state since the beginning of the season. On the one hand, he tries to portray a grieving husband, because others expect this from him. On the other hand, he himself does not fully understand what exactly he should feel. His emotions have always been pretty blunted, but here is a situation where he is expected to have a normal human reaction. He begins to think that perhaps it was his life as a maniac that led to Rita's death. After all, Trinity killed her because of him. And for the first time in a long time, Dexter begins to seriously wonder if he's ruining the lives of everyone around him.

Rita's children are also grieving her death, and Astaire blames Dexter for everything, which makes him feel even worse. Dex realizes that he can't handle three children at once, so they go to Paul's grandparents, even though Cody doesn't want to leave Dexter. As a result, he is left alone with Harrison and his job, and this further knocks him out of his usual rhythm.
The police are actively investigating Rita's death, considering her to be one of the victims of the Trio, and Dexter has to constantly stay close to this case, pretending that he is as shocked as everyone else. Dexter is also becoming suspicious of Joey Quinn. He finds it strange how calm Dexter called the police and how he generally behaves after his wife's death. Joe notices that the people around him and even Dexter's neighbor are more worried than he is. Plus, he's starting to find similarities between Dexter and a man named Kyle Buttler, which is why he decides to figure it out himself and hires Detective Stan Liddy, a former cop who was fired from the police for corruption.
Meanwhile, Dexter hires a babysitter for Garrison so that he can have some free time. He convinces himself that if he finds a victim, he can regain control of his life. After renting a truck for transportation, he accidentally discovers blood, which leads him to a gang of people who kidnap girls, mock them, and then dispose of their bodies.

The first person Dexter comes across is Boyd Fowler, a seemingly ordinary guy who cleans up animal corpses. It is through this case Dexter meets Lumen Pierce, a girl who miraculously survived the kidnapping and witnesses Dexter kill Boyd.
And that's where the series starts playing with a pretty interesting theme again. Lumen is not just a bystander. She's been through hell herself, and now she's obsessed with taking revenge on the people who did this to her. As a result, Dexter and Lumen form a rather strange relationship. In fact, for the first time he encounters a man who wants to kill not because of psychopathy, but because of trauma and a desire for justice. Lumen asks Dexter to help her find the other members of this group. And, quite unexpectedly, he agrees, though not immediately. He understands that if he doesn't help her, she'll start acting on her own and almost certainly get herself into trouble.

During the season, they gradually begin to reach out to the rest of the members of this company. Each of them has money, connections, and the ability to get away with it. For Dexter, this situation is becoming quite unusual. Because he used to act alone and always kept his distance. And now he has a man next to him who knows his secret and actively participates in his ritual. And at some point, something like an emotional bond even begins to form between them . For Lumen, Dexter becomes the person who helps her take revenge and regain control of her life. For Dexter himself, she becomes the person who accepts him for the first time without fear or disgust, as well as the one who helps him forget at least a little about the pain after Rita's death and even feel something like a new love.

While Dexter and Lumen are gradually coming out to the members of this group, the police are also starting to get closer to the truth. Liddy begins to secretly follow Dexter, gathering evidence that he leads a very strange nightlife. He shows all this to Quinn and wants him to arrest Dexter. But Quinn no longer wants to continue this case. Lagertha suspends him because he's digging into Dexter, so he calls Liddy off and tells him to stop investigating. But Liddy is unstoppable. He illegally acquires surveillance equipment through Quinn's name and begins tapping Dexter and Lumen. Dexter quickly realizes that he is being followed and tries to figure out who is doing this. But Liddy strikes first, he kidnaps Dexter and keeps him in the car, waiting for Quinn to arrive and arrest him. But Joey doesn't make it. Dexter regains consciousness, frees himself and kills Liddy right in the car. When Quinn arrives, he can't find anyone, but Liddy's blood is dripping onto his shoe. Due to the fact that Liddy was involved with Quinn, he himself begins to be suspected, and he is taken away for questioning. Debra is furious to learn that he was digging under Dexter. But Dexter ends up helping Quinn get away with it, because it's completely unprofitable for him to continue investigating this case.

While Dexter was dealing with Liddy, Lumen was trying to get to the leader of the entire group, Jordan Chase. But he falls into a trap and finds himself in his captivity. Dexter finds Lumen, but gets into an accident on the way, rushing too fast. As a result, he too finds himself trapped by Chase. They are both tied down, but they combine and eventually get selected.
The finale takes place on Dexter's desk, where Lumen finally takes revenge on Jordan Chase for everything he has done and kills him. But at that moment, Debra arrives at the place. She enters the room where the ritual is taking place, but sees only two silhouettes behind the curtain. She points a gun at them and talks to them. By this time , the police had already seen the recordings of the brutal tortures committed by this gang, Debra had never watched them and was horrified by their deeds, and therefore perfectly understands what the surviving girl went through. She also knows the theory that one of the victims managed to escape and that a man is helping her. In the end , she decides to just let them go.

But then there is a rather important moment for the whole story. After all the culprits are dead, Lumen realizes that her desire to kill has disappeared. The very darkness that had driven her to revenge had simply disappeared. And unlike Dexter, she can get back to normal. That's why she's leaving. And this is a pretty strong moment for Dexter himself. Because he understands one unpleasant thing.Lumen was able to stop. But he's not. His dark companion will not disappear, no matter how much he tries to convince himself otherwise.
The fifth season ended up being quite ambiguous. After an incredibly powerful fourth season, it was very difficult for him to maintain the same level of tension. But the season has one strong side: it shows the consequences. It shows that life Dexter will never be the same after Rita's death. And that every time he tries to let someone into his secret, everything ends the same way, that person either leaves or dies.

I've watched 8 seasons of Dexter so you don't have to, and I have something to write.

Season 6 - Religion

After a rather mundane fifth season, the series is once again trying to raise the stakes and add a new idea. If earlier it was about the past, exposure, friendship, family, consequences and place, then the sixth season suddenly begins to play with the theme of faith.
By this point, Dexter's life is back on track. After Lumen's departure, he is left alone with his dark companion again. Garrison has grown up a bit, Dexter continues to work for the police. Miami, and its nightlife is slowly becoming what it used to be again. But there is still a rather strange emptiness inside him. Lumen was able to escape her darkness, but he wasn't. And it's starting to gnaw at him a little bit.

Everything changes when a new serial killer appears in Miami, whom the press quickly dubs the "Doomsday Killer." This maniac arranges murders that look like biblical prophecies. The bodies of the victims turn into creepy installations, referring to the apocalypse. The crime scenes are becoming more and more strange and frightening, the victims are literally sewn into mannequins, the bodies are displayed as part of some kind of religious painting. In general, it all looks like a very sick interpretation of the biblical texts. Behind all this is a rather strange duo, an elderly religious studies professor James Gellar and his student Travis Marshall. Gellar is a man who is literally obsessed with the idea of the end of the world. He is convinced that humanity is mired in sins and that divine punishment is coming soon. At first, Travis looks more like a man who has been dragged into all this. He doubts, is afraid, and sometimes even tries to stop. But Gellar's influence is gradually dragging him deeper.

For Dexter, this story becomes interesting for two reasons. First, the scale of the murders and their strange religious logic. Secondly, the very theme of faith, which is always for him. It was something rather alien. Dexter had never really thought much about God, the soul , or morality in a religious sense. His only reference point has always been the code. But now he has a young son, and he begins to think about a rather unexpected thing, and what Garrison will believe in at all.

Against this background , Dexter's brother Sam appears in Dexter's life, a former criminal who was once in prison, but now has become a deeply religious man and helps former prisoners to start a new life. He even tries to talk to Dexter about faith and how a person can change. It sounds pretty weird to Dexter, but these conversations are starting to get stuck in his head.

As a result, Brother Sam is killed. At first, Dexter thinks about the bandits who came to Sam, but Dex chases them away using a police badge. Later it turns out that Sam was killed by his own student Nick, who worked at his auto repair shop and whom Sam protected in every possible way. Before Sam dies, he says he forgives Nick. After that, Dexter decides not to kill him and meets with him. He tells Nick that he knows what he did. Nick admits that he had to prove himself to the gang and prove his worth. He says he would like to meet Sam, but Dexter informs him that Sam has died. Nick replies that it's even better that way, and begins to laugh, realizing that now no one can betray him. Nick's behavior enrages Dexter, and he attacks him, drowning him in the water. When Dexter comes out of the water, he sees his dark companion in the form of Brian Moser.

It's an interesting point, because in moments with Brian, he acts recklessly, and even kills a non-murderer, but after coming to his senses, he returns to the bright side, which is personified by Harry Morgan.
The Debra line is developing in parallel. By this point, she finally becomes a lieutenant and actually heads the homicide department. And that's where the series begins to gradually lead her to one very unpleasant truth. The more cases she investigates, the more often her own brother finds himself in them in some strange way . These are not full-fledged suspicions yet, but the first disturbing thoughts are already beginning to appear.

Meanwhile, the Doomsday Killer's case is getting crazier. The police find more and more crime scenes, each of which symbolizes another execution from the apocalypse. But gradually it becomes clear that there is one rather important detail in this story. James Gellar, who appears next to Travis all the time, has actually been dead for a long time. His body lies in a refrigerator in an abandoned church. So this whole duet really only existed in Travis' head. He was just talking to a dead mentor whom he had killed himself. When Dexter finally realizes this, it becomes clear that this is not just a fanatic, but a man who has completely lost touch with reality. Travis is convinced that he is fulfilling a divine mission and that his actions are part of a great plan.

The season finale is happening again according to the usual pattern. Dexter finds Travis. He even tries to sacrifice Harrison, but Dexter manages to save his son and puts Travis on his table in the church. But this time, everything is not going exactly according to plan. While Dexter performs his ritual and kills Travis, Debra unexpectedly enters the church.

And this is where the series takes one of the most important turns of all time. Because Debra is finally seeing something she wasn't supposed to see. In front of her stands her own brother with a knife in his hands, next to the tied body and with all the preparations, which has long become the trademark style of the Butcher from Bay Harbor. And at that moment, her whole worldview just collapses.
The fact is that this is due to Dexter's usual inattention. Debra asked the church to clean up, and he ended up doing his own ritual there. Debra, on the other hand, was going to him for a completely different reason. She wanted to declare her love for him. Yes, no matter how strange it may sound, but during the sixth season, Debra really begins to think about her feelings for her brother, and sessions with a psychologist only strengthen this, to put it mildly, strange idea.

The sixth season itself turned out to be quite controversial. Many people did not like the line with religious fanaticism and the antagonist himself was not as memorable as, for example, Trinity. But this season has one very important role, it finally breaks the main barrier of the series. Because all this time Dexter lived in relative safety, where his secret was known either by enemies or random people who eventually disappeared. But now the truth has been revealed by a man who is closer to him than anyone else. And from that moment on, Dexter's story begins to move in a completely different direction.

I've watched 8 seasons of Dexter so you don't have to, and I have something to write.

Season 7 - The Truth

After a rather controversial sixth season, the series is finally doing what it has been going for a very long time, completely breaking the usual formula. If before the main question was always whether Dexter would be exposed or not, now this issue has already been resolved. Because in last season's finale, Debra saw with her own eyes what her brother really does. And from that moment on, the whole story abruptly changes direction.

The seventh season is essentially built around one simple thing, what to do with the truth. Immediately after the events in the church, Debra is in complete shock. She can't believe what she saw. Standing in front of her is her own brother, the man she considered the closest and most reliable person in her life, and yet he turns out to be a serial killer. And not just a murderer, but the very Bay Harbor Butcher that the police once searched all over Miami. For Debra, this is literally the destruction of her entire worldview. At first, she tries to find at least some rational explanation for what is happening. Dexter tells her about the code, that it only kills those who are murderers themselves and those who were able to escape justice. But to Debra , it sounds like complete madness. She's a cop, and for her, the very idea that someone can decide who should live and who shouldn't is contrary to everything she believes in. At one point, Debra even tries to force Dexter to turn himself in to the police. But gradually she begins to realize one unpleasant thing, if the truth comes out, it will ruin not only Dexter's life, but also Harrison's, and her own. Because she had been working next to him all this time and hadn't noticed anything. Plus , the story of the Bay Harbor Butcher and the fact that the police actually blamed everything will come up. Doakes. And then the whole department will come under attack. Therefore, Debra finds herself in a very strange situation. On the one hand, she hates what Dexter is doing. On the other hand, she's still his sister. And all season long, she's literally torn between wanting to stop him and trying to protect him.

At the same time, a new antagonist of the season, Isaac Sirko, appears, an influential man who is in the Ukrainian mafia. His story begins after Dexter kills Viktor Baskov, a man from his organization. Victor was not just a member of a gang, but a man to whom Isaac was very strongly attached. Therefore, for Sirko, it's all becoming a personal war. Unlike many past opponents Dexter, Isaac doesn't look like a typical maniac or madman. He is quite a calm, cold and calculating person. Moreover, he quickly realizes that Dexter is not an ordinary criminal. And their confrontation turns more into a kind of game of respect between two very dangerous people. Interestingly , Isaac even begins to treat Dexter with a certain understanding at some point. They both live a double life and both understand what it's like to hide your true nature. At some point, their conflict even begins to resemble a strange form of mutual respect. But the mafia line is only part of the season. More importantly, at the same time Dexter gets to know Hannah McKay.

She appears in the poisoning case and quickly becomes a suspect. But when Dexter starts digging deeper, it becomes clear that Hannah is also a murderer. And here begins a rather strange part of the season. Instead of just making her another victim according to the code, Dexter begins to take a liking to her. Moreover, a romantic connection quickly develops between them. The problem is, Hannah is a completely different type of killer. She doesn't live by the code and kills those who just stand in her way. For her, it's not a ritual or a philosophy, but rather a tool. And here a rather interesting conflict arises. Because Dexter is meeting for the first time a man who accepts him completely, but at the same time he is quite dangerous and unpredictable.

Also related to this is the Butcher's investigation from Bay Harbor suddenly resurfaces. And the person who starts to dig in this direction is Maria Lagertha. She begins to suspect that the case with Doakes might not be as simple as previously thought. Gradually, she comes across an increasing number of strange coincidences that are somehow connected with Dexter. And it is this line that is gradually becoming the main threat of the season. Because if Lagertha gets to the truth, it won't just be a family drama anymore, it will be the end for Dexter. Debra interferes with Lagertha in every possible way, as does Dexter, but this does not lead to the best ending.
The season finale is again built around a rather difficult choice. Lagertha is practically going to Dexter even sets up a trap to prove that he is the real Butcher from Bay Harbor. In the end, everything ends up in an abandoned warehouse, where Dexter, Lagertha and Debra find themselves. Lagertha realizes that she was right all along, and tries to convince Debra to shoot her own brother, Dexter does not resist, but on the contrary tells her to shoot him. And this is where the series takes one of its cruelest turns. Because in the end Debra makes a choice. She shoots, but not at Dexter. The bullet hits Lagertha. And at that moment, Debra breaks down completely. Because for the sake of his salvation She had just killed an innocent man.

In many ways, the seventh season turned out to be one of the strongest after the fourth. He finally reverses the usual formula of the series and puts at the center of the story not another maniac, but the consequences of the truth, which can no longer be forgotten. Now Dexter is no longer just a man with a secret. Now his secret is shared with Debra. And the price of this mystery it gets much higher.
Season 7 was the peak after the fourth, I was waiting for the moment with Dexter's disclosure for Debra for a very long time, and in fact it was justified, we see Debra tossing from side to side, as she definitely did not expect that her best brother was a serial killer all this time, because of this she is torn from the inside, and the moral choice is worthy at the end, then we move on to the most scandalous and worst season of Dexter.

I've watched 8 seasons of Dexter so you don't have to, and I have something to write.

Season 8 - Finally

The eighth season of Dexter was supposed to be the big finale of the entire story, but in the end it turned out to be the most controversial and criticized season of the series. After the powerful and tragic finale of season seven, the stakes were high: Debra's story, Lagertha's death, and Dexter's exposure were bound to lead to serious consequences. However, the season is heading in a rather unexpected direction and is trying to complete several storylines at once.

The events begin about six months after the finale of the previous season. The lives of all the characters have changed noticeably. Debra is completely destroyed after Lagertha's murder. She no longer works for the police, she stopped contacting Dexter, and began working as a private investigator. At the same time, she is still deeply depressed, abusing alcohol and even dabbling in drugs, clearly unable to cope with what she has done. Guilt literally destroys her from the inside out.

Dexter, on the other hand, is trying to get everything back to normal. He still works for the police, takes care of Harrison, and tries to act like nothing happened. But there is a huge distance between him and Debra. She blames him for what happened and believes that he is the reason she became a murderer. This is becoming one of the main emotional lines of the first half of the season.

At the same time, a new character appears in Miami, Dr. Evelyn Vogel, a neuropsychiatrist who unexpectedly finds herself connected to Dexter's past. She claims that she once worked with Harry Morgan and helped him create the very code by which Dexter lives. Vogel calls Dexter an ideal psychopath and considers him a kind of successful experiment. The most interesting thing is that only now we are learning about her, the character was introduced rather hastily, and this is very striking.
This discovery slightly changes the perception of the whole story. It turns out that the codex was not only Harry's idea, but also his own. a kind of psychological project by Vogel. She begins to help Dexter and even supports his lifestyle, believing that in this way he directs his dark companion in the right direction.

At the same time, the main antagonist of the season "Brain Surgeon" appears. This is a serial killer who removes parts of his victims' brains. His crimes become the central investigation of the Miami police. It soon turns out that this killer is connected to the past of Vogel herself.
It turns out to be Oliver Saxon, her own son, who had been presumed dead for many years. Unlike Dexter, he grew up without any code or control and turned into a completely uncontrollable killer. Thus , the series tries to show a kind of contrast between two psychopaths, those who have been taught to control their darkness, and those who have not been stopped by anyone.

Meanwhile, Debra is gradually coming back to life. Her relationship with Dexter begins to recover a little, although the guilt does not disappear anywhere. The situation becomes especially difficult when Debra tries to get rid of Dexter and even plans to kill him and die with him, but eventually saves him. Vogel helps them get closer, thanks to her specialization, she tries to help them sort themselves out. Perhaps without her, Dexter and Debra would not have been able to restore at least some kind of relationship.

Another important line of the season is the return of Hannah McKay. She reappears in Dexter's life, and an affair begins between them again. This time Dexter begins to seriously think about how to completely change his life. He dreams of going to Argentina with Hannah and Harrison and starting all over again, leaving his past life behind. Dexter himself begins to believe that he will be able to abandon his dark companion and live a normal life. This idea becomes the main goal.Dexter in the final part of the season.
But Debra is against it. She doesn't trust Hannah because she once tried to poison her. That's why Dexter even framed Hannah in the past and turned her in to the police. But despite this, they still couldn't be without each other.

Later, Debra begins to change her mind. After living with Hannah for a while while she is hiding from the authorities, she realizes that Hannah is not such a bad person. Besides, Hannah gets along well with Harrison. In the end, Debra comes to the conclusion that Dexter deserves to be happy after all.

However, events are beginning to unfold tragically. Oliver Saxon kills Dr. Vogel right in front of Dexter. Later, Dexter catches Saxon, but at some point decides that it's over, he doesn't want to kill anymore. So he calls Debra to come and arrest him.
And here begins one of the strangest and most illogical parts of the season. Dexter leaves Saxon conscious and next to his toolbox. He doesn't stay in place to help Debra arrest him, but simply leaves because he's afraid of missing his flight.
At this point, the sheriff's officer who was looking for Hannah intervenes. He finds Saxon and frees him, believing that he is the victim. The officer immediately pays for this mistake and Saxon kills him. After that, Debra enters the room. A shootout begins between her and Saxon. She shoots at him, but he manages to shoot back and severely wounds her. As a result, Debra ends up in the hospital.
Initially, the doctors say that everything is fine, but then a complication occurs, and Debra he finds himself in a state from which it is impossible to get out. For Dexter, this is the final blow. He realizes that everything that happened to Debra is the consequence of his own life and his secrets.

In the season finale, he makes a decision that should be a kind of punishment for him. He turns off Debra's life support machines and takes her body to the ocean, where he previously sent the bodies of his victims. Dexter then abandons his escape plan with Hannah and Harrison. He understands that the people around him are always in danger. So he fakes his death during a hurricane and disappears. The last scene of the series shows that Dexter actually survived. He lives under a new name and works as an ordinary lumberjack, completely isolating himself from the world and from the people he once loved.

It was this ending that caused a huge wave of criticism, and in many ways it was well-deserved. Instead of showing Dexter alive, a stronger ending could have been his death or capture. This ending looks rather strange and leaves a feeling of understatement, and some events in recent episodes seem frankly illogical.

It is also impossible not to recall the main antagonist of the season. As a result, Oliver Saxon still dies at the hands of Dexter, but in himself he turned out to be an extremely faceless character. This antagonist is almost unremarkable and looks like he was introduced simply because the season needed another psychopath.

The Lumberjack

The Lumberjack

Well, what can I write here, that's all, I finally finished writing this post, I wrote it for three days, and I got pretty steamed up, I liked Dexter in many ways, but as for me it could have been shortened, doubled, and served in a more ideal form, but we have that we have, do I recommend watching it, yes, I think it's not the worst work, and I would give it a 7/10, based on the bastard ending and not the best decisions of the scriptwriters, will I watch the rest of the parts, yes, although I really dissuade myself from it, but on this ciao, I'm waiting for two likes on this post.

I will be able to answer the comms (if they are here) only on 10 at 22:26, due to blockages

Post-poll: Is Season 5 of OSD a failure or a finale that we deserve? (spoilers)

Hello, cherries! It's been a long time since we've seen each other, and since that moment, a lot of changes have taken place in my life. One of them is that I finally watched one of my favorite and currently popular TV series, Stranger Things. As you know, the fifth and final season has recently been released. I think it's time to discuss it (as they say, better later than never).

Post-poll: Is Season 5 of OSD a failure or a finale that we deserve? (spoilers)

Let's briefly recall what we are talking about:
This season is set in November 1987. Hawkins remains under quarantine after the portals open inside out. Will Byers, infected with Vecna in the first season, begins to see through the eyes of demogorgons and feel connected to the collective mind.
Vecna, formerly known as Henry Creel, uses his child victims, including Holly Wheeler, to strengthen his powers and connect our world with the Abyss, the true source of the threat. Odie, Hopper, and other heroes team up to stop him. In the course of events, it turns out that Vecna was manipulated by the Torturer of the Mind (we met with him in season 3). The group develops a plan: to use a radio tower and a sensor tank to enter Vecna's consciousness. Max, who is in a coma, plays a key role in helping save Holly from Vecna's memories.
In the final battle, Odie fights Vecna inside the Mind Torturer, and Joyce kills his physical body. To permanently close the portal, Odie sacrifices herself by destroying exotic matter. After 18 months, Hawkins returns to normal life: friends graduate from school, build a future, and a new generation continues to play Dungeons & Dragons, remembering past exploits.

Post-poll: Is Season 5 of OSD a failure or a finale that we deserve? (spoilers)

I will highlight the advantages of the series, which seemed important to me.:
1) The plot of the fifth season was mostly developing dynamically, something was constantly happening. Of course, there were many protracted moments, but you can't do without them.2) I really liked that in the last episodes one character was able to tell (or rather, he suggested) how everything was arranged. It was shown what the underside is and how it was connected to the real Hawkins, what exactly connects them, and how all this can be destroyed. Finally, the audience will be able to see this incredible building. Also this season, it was possible to visually see the Vecna plan.
3) No matter what anyone says, I personally liked the special effects this season, as well as the camera work. It is necessary to understand that the actions of the series take place in a parallel reality, where everything is arranged differently, where there are monsters. A lot of work had to be done to ensure that the audience liked everything and did not disappoint them.4) It's also good that the directors have devoted some time to the relationship between Nancy, Jonathan and Steve. I think a lot of people are still wondering why Nancy and Steve aren't together. This season you will get a detailed answer to this question.
5) There was a funny fight between the two main characters this season, I didn't even expect to see it. Someone says the fight is out of place, but in my opinion it makes a lot of sense.
6) There were a lot of kids involved in the fifth season, and the actors who played them did a great job. I especially liked the character Derek. He looks like a nasty boy, but he also plays an important role.

Post-poll: Is Season 5 of OSD a failure or a finale that we deserve? (spoilers)

Well, now we can move on to the cons.:
1) I think many people have noticed that the Duffer brothers don't like to say goodbye to their characters. In the fourth season, Eddie died, so in the fifth season, in almost every episode, the audience was reminded of this. But for 4 seasons, the series has gathered too many actors, already more than twenty people. And by the end of the season, even more. Viewers who haven't been paying attention to the series can easily get confused. I think too many people know the little secret of the city.
2) The break between the fourth and fifth seasons was more than 3 years. Unfortunately, some characters have changed too much. The actress who played Audie, Millie Bobby Brown, is already 21 years old. Audie had a rather mature face, for example, her lips were enlarged. Robin, played by Maya Hawke, has also changed a lot. Robin has matured too much, the look of the girl who sold ice cream has disappeared. Thus, it is better not to delay the release of the new season.3) The most important disappointment I had was about Will. His confession did not affect the plot in any way, and Vecna did not weaken from this confession. Although there were already non-traditional sexual relationships in this series, I would like this trend to end in European and American films. everyone has already understood this tolerance on the part of the directors.

Post-poll: Is Season 5 of OSD a failure or a finale that we deserve? (spoilers)

The ending of the series
On the one hand, I liked the ending of the series. In principle, the series can be completed, all the points are set. But then the creators decided to ruin everything. The last episode of the fifth season lasted more than two hours, and about 40 minutes the audience was shown some nonsense. It seemed that the directors didn't want to say goodbye. During this time, the audience was shown only one important thought that concerns Audie. I think many people expected to see the final battle between Vecna and Odi this season. Such a battle was already in the fourth season. She was there in season five, but I expected to see more.

Post-poll: Is Season 5 of OSD a failure or a finale that we deserve? (spoilers)

In general, considering all the advantages and disadvantages of this season, I can fairly rate it at 7/10.

This concludes my post. I will be looking forward to your comments about season 5 of the series :) See you soon for new cherry meetings!!

Did you enjoy season 5?0

Opinion on new products - 2026
Prostokvashino

Prostokvashino

We start the year with great films. I love the original. I've read all the books. Therefore, when you hear that there will be a remake from Hayter Tarkovsky, you expect a great remake. Sarik came to his senses a long time ago and even started making more or less digestible movies. And here we have a poorly made and fake story about a boy who decided to live by himself. Acting is dead and lifeless. The graphics are bad. And the story and atmosphere just disappeared from the first meeting with the cat. There's nothing, nothing related to the original at all. Porn without porn. Thanks Saric, I didn't let you down.

4.5/10

Pinocchio

Pinocchio

Oh, another yummy one. I don't really like the original. But animation and books are quite good and I like them. Therefore, the film did not wait. And it's much better than Yogurt. But, everything is bad. Our fairy tale is actually a remake of Pinocchio. Therefore, the moments are similar. The new version was made too positive. I don't look at the good acting and the beginning of the film. Then everything is dull. The alteration is not good for her. Pinocchio is still speckled (by the way, he is played by a girl from Daddy's daughters). Many of the moments are poorly made, but the characters all look different somehow and there are just a few of them. Pinocchio is a dark story, which makes everything look more than expressive. Unlike our story. Well, again, this is a soap dish and not an interesting story. Unfortunately, she's still like that. We're waiting for a bunch of remakes this year.

5.5/10

The Primate

The Primate

The director of Descents into the Abyss and Resident Evil decided to make a zoo horror. And it's clear that the director can do more. Yes, we have a banal story about teenagers, a monkey that has gone crazy, and in some places, the tin is like in a Terrifying. But, in general, this is also a plus of such tapes. Not to seem trivial, but to be just a movie. Hence the high critical acclaim.

6.2/10

In search of the living

In search of the living

Another horror that was praised by critics. Ray from Star Wars and zombie survival movie. In fact, knowing the director, we have more drama in front of us. The heroine learns about herself and the world through events. There is a horror atmosphere here. But this is not suitable for everyone. Ridley is good.

6.2/10

28 years later, 2

28 years later, 2

And here's the overnight fit. And the first major horror of the year. The first part of the trilogy was controversial for the audience. I've only heard strange claims before everything. But I didn't see any logic in them. And the sequel generally changes the world even more. 28. In fact, we have a zombie movie in front of us. But the main villains are human again. Jerry is playing a Satanist again, though not a vampire anymore, but a fan of teletubbies. Only those who caught the cringe from them then, now it will be the opposite to get high from them. From the tin and malice in their souls and actions. It's still the story of a boy who survives in the world. But he found the wrong company. Cinema goes into philosophy. Fiennes is looking for a cure. He is opposed by evil. These two lines are destined to converge. Therefore, actions are not meaningless. And the powerful ending only spurs us to morality. Even if it's banal. The atmosphere and zombies and horror are not the main thing here. More like dialogues. And the most important thing is that those who hate part 1 will understand part 2. Since communication is in full swing. A worthy sequel.

7.8/10

Pony

Pony

The series is about 2 spies in Moscow who study the mystery of the deaths of their relatives. 70s vibe, atmosphere, and lots of Emilia Clarke who speaks Russian. By the way, we tried to do a lot without an accent. It worked just fine in places. There are almost no cranberries, but there is interest. Although the ending is banal.

7.0/10

Greenland 2

A novelty for the night. By the way, I didn't expect the original. But I was surprised that this is a normal picture of the disaster and ordinary people who want to live. A sequel is not justified at all. He is not needed. The film changes its tone to post-apocalyptic, budget-friendly but meager. There is almost no catastrophe here. And the drama is stretched. The ending is sad, but it kind of pissed me off. In general, you don't need to watch it. Where to spend 60 lakhs...

A tasty morsel

A tasty morsel

Carnahan has had no luck at all in recent years. He shot his last really good movie about 7 years ago. And so, they give him 2 friends and stars in the cast. Yes, he made a very banal, brutal thriller and a bit of an action movie about the search for rats. But it was shot qualitatively and interestingly. It wasn't boring to watch, but the actors were on site. This is a typical crime thriller, but that's exactly what we're missing right now.

The killer Whale

The killer Whale

Virginia Gardner goes a long way in the cinema. I saw her back in the movie Continuum. And now, in fact, she's getting closer to the queen of horror. And the star of the Tower is playing again in a claustrophobic horror. Unfortunately, not successful. We have a strange and delayed beginning before us. And after that, 2 friends get stuck far from the shore and a dangerous whale prevents them from swimming there. Yes, there's a Shoal in front of us. Only rather poorly shot and staged. Where the heroine came up with ways in the Shallows, it was immediately drawn out and ridiculous. Unfortunately.

The Dead Man's Wire

The Dead Man's Wire

Okay, some more goodies for the night. Gus Van Sant is back in the movies. Bill Skarsgard is also starring. Speaking of which, it's the tower again. I don't know how or what, but he still finds a way to surprise. His main character is like the hero of the movie Brother seeking Justice. Lost funds. And yes, the longer the movie goes on, the more you realize that the main character is a good person. Well, thanks to Bill's performance, we have a practical, perfect chamber thriller in some places.

The Will of Anna Lee

The Will of Anna Lee

Annette 2.0. If you remember such a movie. We have another similar film in front of us. This is a biopic of a girl who created an ideal society. There's still a musical in front of us. Although they don't sing all the time, there's drama and even a thriller. In places, they are strongly inflated. It's not boring or entertaining to watch. But especially, the main advantage is Amanda Seyfried. One of the best roles of her career.

Mercy

Mercy

Timur has been in Hollywood since 2008. But apart from 2 films, he did not shoot anything else. But it helped to promote the screenlive subgenre. Last year, critics disparaged the War of the Worlds. And now Timur himself. And that's... for nothing. That's a shock. I expected the worst. This is not a new but interesting idea. In the future, Pratt got into a room with AI and through Clive will try to prove that he is innocent of murder. The script is interesting, the ending is slightly stretched, and it somehow reminded me of the ending of another company film. And yet. There's nothing terribly wrong with that. Yes, it's corny, but in some places Pratt could have played better. But, I watched the movie calmly. I'm glad Timur is still filming. But it's time to remove something new in not following a pattern that doesn't work much anymore.

Return to Silent Hill

Return to Silent Hill

So, the disappointment of the year is before us. Expected. But suddenly I'll share the opinion and explain. The game is a cult. When we hear about horror games, we always remember this series from the first. The game has become the best and overall symbol of the series. No other company has been able to repeat that success. Unless it's a remake. Well, and F about Japan. First of all, it's not horror. Wow. This is a story about a simple man who learns the mistakes of life through a certain city. When they meet monsters, they are not monsters here for the sake of monsters, they mean something. And the people who walk here are not just leftists. They have their own stories. Fog, city and siren.

It was all scary. It's not the screamers here, but something else. When you see only fog in front of you. Is the game not adaptable? No. It's a pretty deep piece. Even Yamooki's sound conveys everything here. There is more than one ending, even everyone chooses their own path from the character. Give this material to some Scorsese and he would have shot Island of the Damned 2. Have you noticed vibe? What's wrong with the movie? Everything is simple. This is the speedrun of history. Not a story.

There are a lot of flashbacks about love in front of us. Wow, but in the original it was understandable to experience without that. Wow, there was a frightening fog and monsters behind it. Let's almost remove them altogether. Do you see the pyramid-headed one? So here he is in the movie for a minute. And the sisters are even smaller. Do you remember the action game? So the hero here is a babysitter and runs and stumbles. Do you remember what I said about the Persians? So now these are extras, it's not clear why they're here and what they're for. And I haven't mentioned the graphics yet, which is worse than in 1 movie, but the movie was shot by the same director. It doesn't mention the obvious miscast and not very good acting, and yes, the sound doesn't work here. And in general, I noticed him here at the beginning and at the end. The hero doesn't feel the atmosphere here, he just runs through the city. And by the way, there's not even much fog here.

Do you remember 1 movie? Yes, it was all there. And the characters and the fog and the story. Even the finale. By the way, the finale is a plus here. Well, sometimes it's gloomy. I can even compare a movie. And he's better and scarier in everything. In the end, I'll say that if it's good for you. Go through the game carefully. You are welcome. Thanks

Help me

Help me

A return to Sam Raimi's horror films. And I am very glad that this is a good movie. But I must say right away that you should not overestimate expectations. There are 2 types in front of us. A goofball and an asshole. Together they survived the plane crash. Now they should get along to survive. The same way? No. Accordingly, we are faced with almost a Misery in the jungle. The heroine has a secret and, accordingly, a goal. But unfortunately, I still did not understand it. The film looks great from the acting side. He also tries to play comedy and horror in some places. And there's plenty of tin here. Even hello, there are Sinister dead. Generally. It's trivial. The finale didn't come either. But in good hands, it's a peppy movie that's worth a look. I'm glad that the legend is in place. Waiting for Drag Me to Hell 2.

The infection

The infection

A comedy horror about zombies. The idea is not new, but there are differences. Liam Neeson sounds interesting in horror. They also invited the star of Very strange cases. The plot is typical. Some old experiments and finding random people are his. It's like an average comedy. As a horror, zombies are tinny here. But zombies are not typical. Now the infection is through vomiting, and the animals generally seem kind. There are a couple of points where they are dangerous, but they behave strangely in some places. But in the end, you can watch movies and even have fun.

6.5/10

Night patrol

Night patrol

Increasingly, they are trying to make classic horror films. We have 2 policemen in front of us who will find out the secret of a dangerous area. There are a lot of turns in the scenario. They try to turn into a crime thriller and then into a violent horror about vampires. It looks interesting, like thrash in some places. But watchable and unusual. Moreover, we were able to recruit good actors.

6.4/10

Shelter

Shelter

Jason has been stuck in the same movies for a long time. They were interesting in some places, disastrous in others. But I didn't see anything terrible. This movie is in the middle again. The hero saves someone, you know the ending in advance. However, they tried to play a thriller more than an action movie. But it turned out the way it turned out. I'm glad it's not a Stallone movie, but I want something more.

6.5/10

Cheburashka 2

Cheburashka 2

One of the highest-grossing films in our cinema history. Naturally, not because the tickets cost like renting a room per month and not because they removed everything Western and not because they stretched the rental. This is different. But we'll talk about the film in general. 1 and the most important thing. Didn't they have enough time to make a schedule for these fees? Seriously? How's that? 2 This is why 80 percent of the movie is shot in the same location. By the way, the plot is weaker, although the movie is generally harmless and you can even watch it. But the quality has dropped, and this indicates a bad thing. It's sad, but such a movie will be promoted a lot more.

Strangers 3

Strangers 3

Drain. Harlin finished off the series. It's not that bad. But he finished it off. We have the final before us. We spent most of our time revealing the characters. Did not put the squeeze. Although you can see they could. But even here, logic fails everything. Especially one of the killers who fell in love with the heroine. And the heroine, having killed one of the maniacs, did not receive the consequences and merged them both. And the finale is empty and ends with nothing. Let me remind you that the series wasn't really a slasher. It's a chamber horror about playing with a killer, and here's a slasher with silent villains. To summarize. It's not such a terrible movie. The trilogy tried to do more, but forgot what the meaning of the original was. After part 1, it was possible to completely go into the villains and reveal them. Focus on them. It's obvious. Make part 3 the grand finale. Thus, connect the 2nd and 3rd parts.

Of course, this did not save the logic of many points. But at least it was interesting. But there's still Harlinkat waiting for us, where all three parts will become one movie. Do we need it?
