Finally, something new about the Star Wars universe. Finally. 

This is a spin-off of the Clone Wars animated series. And specifically a spin-off about one of the universe's favorite characters.The biggest spoiler is that the character survived. As we remember, he was killed by Obi-Wan. But, spoiler alert, he's still going to die from it. It's interesting, however, to find out what the character was doing while the events of the story were happening.This is Darth Maul. 

He is looking for a way to take revenge on Palpatine for his betrayal. And he's a criminal himself. But it has a whole grouping. He also finds a Jedi and wants to join forces with her against the local Sith. Supposedly a villain. But even then it was revealed from the good side. He's a pretty smart and wise character. And understands the sides. That is why the tandem of Sith and Jedi, unique to the universe, is here because they find a common goal.The picture has also changed. 

She became darker, noirier and neon. And I wasn't ashamed to show cruelty, but projects are almost always for everyone.

The star of Romulus and the Long Walk has found himself another good movie.

An English film about a guy who is almost out of prison, but they put a rather unusual cellmate in his cell.

First of all, I would like to note that this is not the first and not the last film about prison, and as I understand it, you can already sum up a whole subgenre. And again, we have a tense film in front of us. 

The hero tolerates a lot at any cost and tries to at least make friends with similar personalities. But any step and you're already here for life. In places, the hero is dumb, but still endearing. So I really want to wait in order to understand whether the hero has succeeded or not.

Last year, I wrote about a series with Quollie where she survived with a child and found a bad job. 

So this is almost the same thing.But the key word is almost. This is more of a youth thing. The main character follows in the footsteps of a super sexy woman and begins to lead an online video. If there was drama and heaviness of the heroine in that series, then this is not enough here at all. But Fanning is very fond of undressing. 

She's the one with the advantages, because she's still great as an actress. I hope there will be better development in the future.

Ann and the horror? It sounds interesting. 

The film was poorly advertised. But they released an album. And that's what happened.

Ann is the best thing here. It just glitters. But it's hard to recommend a movie. This is a banal movie about obsession with business, mistakes of the past, and a rather long-winded conversational film with a sharp ending.After the failed Peter Pan, this is a really great return for the director.

You should probably start with the personality. Michael Jackson is a legend. 

Probably only a blind man doesn't know who it is and what he was doing. And his music became sacred. And no one cares so far about the endless attempts of people to file a complaint against him after his death. 

And even when the movie came out and it happened again. I personally love his songs, so I've been waiting for the movie. But the trailer didn't show anything except the songs and the brightness. Unfortunately or fortunately, this is the case.The first half hour is the story of a boy in a big family. The father (Domingo) is very much watching the children's lives. Therefore, it turns into a fairy tale where Michael, after reading Peter Pan books, decides to achieve everything and retire. 

That's what I've achieved. In general, after the film turns from banality into a story about a bright guy who helps sick children and watches a lot of movies. 

Thanks to the legendary Night of the Living Dead, for example, he came up with a Thriller. The legendary horror clip. And so on, even though his father is still trying to make him think about something else. The main star is not only Domingo...

But so is Jackson. Who played his relative perfectly. 

Most likely, both will get into future nominations. Well, as I said, plus films of this kind are legendary moments and reshoots of music videos, and of course music.

And here are the problems. Before the film, it was known that the relatives were against the negativity of Michael, so the finale is expected to be very sharp and hints at a sequel where supposedly they already promise to show something.In general, the problem is still in the content. The beginning is stretched and the movie is dirty. There doesn't seem to be enough drama. In the same Rhapsody, she was pulled right well and even showed the disadvantages of the character. There's a pure angel here. Maybe it is. But we remember some points... Still, I took a break from the movie. It is as simple and easy as possible, and therefore I will be waiting for the sequel. If you want to watch a real movie about Michael. Watch the documentary Michael Jackson: That's It (2009).

Finally, something good and horror.

Here is a remake of the film A Trip from Virkola. And Samara again. 

And in general, the caste is powerful.

But there's a self-replay with a screamer. 

And we've already seen the best ones in the trailer. I am one of those who does not scold for this, especially often if something else pulls from the pluses. Here, it's more likely to review the movie and make sure that it's more for once.

Somewhere in the river the monster Kraken is hiding and, according to the law of the genre, kills people. Sometimes some people don't feel sorry for them. And sometimes they feel too sorry. I personally liked that the movie is like an old horror movie. And the sharks are well made. 

Especially when you're given a budget of 40 million. I hope Harleen continues to make horror films. You see, something else will take off interesting.

I'm shocking you, but part 1 is a childhood movie.

And until the very end, I wonder what will happen to him.It was funny to read that the movie was a cliche. Although we don't have any similar ones. And in general, I wrote about a similar one this year. 

But there are not so many of them (of this kind). Well, it's worth making a discount on the young director's debut film. So we are waiting for his future works.

I've finally reached the legend. 

There's a noisy movie again this year. And again controversial.

Here is a film about how a certain Baranov helped Putin rise and reach his current point. 


All this is sketchy, sometimes caricatured. But with problems.The first plus is the actors. Lowe is really similar to Putin. Paul Dano drags and fits the role well. Everything else in terms of the script is amusingly entertaining and basic for such films. But, it is shown a little strangely. We understand that in the film everyone wants to be closer to the authorities and like they are shown as scum. 

Especially the last half hour. We just don't understand why we need them. Dano is not very pleasant as a Persian. Especially considering his thoughts. Rather, you don't care. A crime drama about money sharing? 

We've seen this happen many times. As a result, the film is average, interestingly shot, but no more. But the last half hour is probably the most important for viewing in general.

And it's also funny that Yeltsin was shown here. But it's more funny that they wanted to release the film in Russia.

 So there's probably a horror part here. Fighting too. And they're all cool. The plot has been reduced here and everything is simple. A villain like Thanos and our heroes. Someone was brought back. And someone was leaked. This is also a plus, by the way. Even baby Sabziro and Scorpio are sensitive. Even though they pushed him in ridiculously. The film is made for the fans and for them. Cage is the local Wolverine here, and the rest of the X-Men are straight.

Faces of Death 2026 is not exactly a remake. Rather a rethink. 

In front of us is a Euphoria star that filters content and notices that one of these bloggers is shooting too natural content. The character is not only beautiful, but also insane. Sometimes the film shocks with her actions. And it is with them that horror is connected. Of course, everything comes to the edge more than once. Thanks to the skilfully crafted script, the film gives an interest in what will happen in the finale. And even though I didn't get into the finale. We can safely say that Barker is the new face of the genre, which can drag him. Especially thanks to the ideas.

And it's worth saying that horror is an important part of cinema. Watch and you will always find your own.

The Mandalorian TV series is a good thing.

As a result, we were given a film with them.And unfortunately, the critics are right. The film provides almost nothing new. The film looks like one big episode that doesn't affect anything. The plot was even already in another movie.The heroes must save Jabba's relative (who watched the full meter of the Clone Wars cartoon, he realized what a baby). And now he's not a baby, but an arena fighter, the most interesting character in the movie. 

And that's the only interesting thing about something new. Because after everything we've seen, the Hutts aren't the best topic. Otherwise, it's an action movie and the adventures of heroes. Once again, mutual salvation and once again the sensitivity of Pascal. 

As a result, it is suitable for fans, no more.

Koreans love zombie horror movies so much that they film a lot about them.

There are a lot of zombies, they have become scarier. And there is also an interesting topic here (and they wrote nothing new). There are still heroes. But then again, not everyone will survive (and the film sometimes merges some dramatically). Well, the ending in the spirit of Resident Evil was really surprising.

It's definitely not something new, but it's still a great adrenaline rush about my favorite zombies.

Astral (2010)

James Wan and Lee Whannell became legends of the genre after the Saw. But that's a slasher, and you should scare it with screamers. That's how the Astral appeared. Now this is an annoying word for horror fans, because Russian distributors have already made the 20th part of the series in their opinion. And Van did the same Spell, and that one also got its rolling curse.

1 movie based on the plot is banal, if you've watched any horror about ghosts, then this is it. A big family, with murky tones and something around the corner. At first, the boy Doltan does not wake up one day, and while his mother is suffering from ghosts, no one understands what is happening.

2 ghost hunters arrive and later the character of the series is Ellis, who tells them what and who they have here.

The most important differences of the series are the ghosts. The skin of a dead man, as close as possible to real ghosts. It's a scary sight. From the one with the weapon, to the main 2 characters, whose presence cannot be complete without any part, namely the red-faced demon. So fast-paced and mysterious that many have yet to find out who it is.

The soundtrack is also worth noting. Many people were so infuriated by him that, on the contrary, I always liked him. The idiotic piano beats were very frightening.

The movie got so crazy that everyone was shouting that they should watch it. People went to get scared, so the film became a landmark and one of those worth watching from the heavier one.

The finale of the tape ended in a cliff. Therefore, the sequel was expected. It's still a series tower.

Astral 2: Chapter 2 (2013)

The sequel continues the Lamberts' story. Despite the good ending, Ellis strangely dies. And the ghosts have not left, but continue to come.

The sequel revealed more of the gloominess of the finale of part 1. The gray tones were removed and Van even went into psychological horror. The maniac who was dressed as a bride is 100 percent revealed. By the way, this is the only character in the ghost series that is revealed like this. As I said, he was a maniac, hid corpses and dressed them in a dress, and also had a difficult childhood. 2 by the way, the villain is his mother.

The actress is also well-chosen and beautifully played. Anger and understanding are understandable. She's also probably the scariest scene in the movie. By the way, there were fewer scary scenes, all because the ghost of the bride was in the father of the family all the time. There was clearly a Sparkle here. It is worth noting that the bride wanted to live normally and even resisted and contradicted her mother so as not to harm the family. Is it strange?

Otherwise, the film ended the series perfectly with the Lambert family. But the final scene with Jenna Ortega was not explained to us even after 6 parts.

Astral 3 (2015)

By the way. Oren Peli, the director of part 1 and creator of the Paranormal Phenomenon, is still involved in the creation of the series. So are Van and Whannell. The latter became a director himself and has already shot 2 more horror films. In the meantime, Astral 3.

The creators seemed to say that Ellis was killed for nothing. Therefore, we have a prequel in front of us, where we will be shown her acquaintance with her teammates and will show another antagonist. That ko is not breathing.

Father and daughter are now the main characters. My daughter was hit by a car. And then she begins to see a ghost that is breathing heavily. And again, everyone has the same goal - to pick up the carrier.

The screamers are still scary, the kindred depths are in place and cute. The villain is also a stirrup. And Ellis is there. They also showed a good ghost. Yes, there is Alice in part 2, but this is a little different. Then why didn't many people like the part? Most likely because they got used to the old characters. They didn't give me anything new. The screamers work a little worse and the familiarity is very banal.

But it didn't bother me and it didn't spoil the movie.

Unfortunately, we are moving on to the problematic parts. It's a prequel again, or rather a sequel to another prequel.

The main advantage of 1 is the Background. If we wanted to find out about Ellis, then we would be partially exposed to her demon.
2 plus is the Antagonist. The housekeeper looks fast and dangerous himself.
3 - Lin Shay, one of the best roles.

Unfortunately, as a horror director, I forgot about the scary moments, so there are only 2 of them. Otherwise, there is more emphasis on the backstory and again the favorite theme of the family in the series. For it is in every part. We have a strong middle peasant in front of us.

Astral 5: The Red Door (2023)

The worst part of the series, but you'll see what its advantage is below.

Finally, the continuation of the Lamberts. At the same time, Patrick Wilson himself makes his debut. And there are some interesting points.

Despite the good ending of the 2nd part. The family broke up. My grandmother died suddenly. And the son suffers from visions. As you remember, the heroes supposedly forgot about everything. But the gift did not disappear, so he returned.

He returned, but the design became weaker, and yes, this is a scam, there is almost no red-faced in the film. Wilson has gone more into drama than horror. There is 1 scary scene in the camera. But the rest is weak. Although the story ended corny, it's brave that Wilson started it in the spirit of sequels like Alien 3. Therefore, there was enough gloom. And fanservice warms the soul. Pravd Ellis and the team are just cameos.

And for some reason, this is exactly what gave something new to the series. And 6 here...

Astral 6: They're Already Here (2026)

The return of that very Astral? Maybe.

This time, there's a sequel and a new family again. A dentist girl who is being pestered by ghosts is being pestered by ghosts and turns to a local girl who is getting a tattoo and she will help her find out what is going on.

The posters shouted that a fan service was waiting for us. A bunch of oldies and teasers with powerful screamers from them. And you know what? They cut them out. Did you want someone who wasn't breathing? He's almost not here. As well as the housekeeper. In fact, even Krasnolicius and the others only got the scenes. Return so much and do nothing about it?

Fortunately, as I understand it, the focus was on new characters and not fans. And these are, wow, not ghosts, but a sect led by sectarians who love the astral. So at least there's something new here, and the good news is that the villains are fast. They steal all the scenes. But the director lacks the experience to make a much scarier film.

The scene with the arrow pads, the finale is powerful, and most of the screamers are not as strong as in parts 1 and 2. And yes, all the trails with the family were used again, fortunately the director watched other parts. And this is rather a minus.

Unfortunately, the scam and not so interesting plot of the film ruined the rating. Fans may like the movie, but no more. Maybe that's why I've put him in 3rd place so far.

And a little bit about the future of the series. In part 6, the new villains of the series were shown and teased. There is even a succubus, there is also a brother of the red-faced one, but that one is yellow. And supposedly they are the future villains of the series.

The spin-off series is also still in force. But there has been no information about him for a long time. But there is hope, fortunately, the fees for the 6th part are still good.

Good luck, have fun, don't die

First, I'll write down who took it off. Gore Verbinski gave us a bunch of masterpieces and just childhood movies. Rango, Pirates of the Caribbean 3 parts, Car hunt, Bell. Yes, I even defended the Medicine for health. But the director withdrew into himself and disappeared for 9 years, giving us this. Sam Rock is in front of us in the form of a homeless man from the future, he recruits random people in order to save the world from an evil AI. Verbinski admitted that he is encouraged by the trend of neural networks and other things. That's why we have Terminator 2.0 and Everything, everywhere and 2.0 at once. With a lot of action, horror and comedy, banter about everything and everything. Well, there's a hint of a sequel. Which of course I'm waiting for, if that's the case. In the meantime, I'm even overestimating one of the most original and daring films.

According to the game's lore, the girl performs an autopsy in the morgue, along the way she suffers demonic forces. The game is fast-paced and not very long. It's perfect to shoot a chamber horror in a morgue. But unfortunately, all attempts are almost passable. So this one couldn't either. There's a lot in the movie. They seem to be skillfully building an atmosphere. But they waste a lot of words. And they like to spend a lot of time on what we already understood. Which looks stretched. You can watch the movie, but it will quickly slip out of your head.

I've never read the book. But it is considered a classic of books. And then Director Saltburn came over and shot her film adaptation. After reading the opinions, I realized that a lot of things had been changed and changed. It's because the ages are suddenly the same for one character (the one from the movie The Whale), while the others look much older. A lot is missing. It turns out that the story is even darker than the movie. But in general, as I said, I haven't read it. The movie is beautiful, well-acted, but it's not visible here either, as in the film adaptation of the same Romeo and Juliet. Rather, the new 50 shades (like fan fiction). But watchable, unlike other similar works.

A series based on a cult book that is still relevant in circles. But, as far as I'm concerned, it's outdated. Because there are much stronger projects that show the same thing. We have a bunch of kids who have come to the island and are surviving on it. Since I haven't read the book again and haven't watched any other film adaptations, I'll rate it as it is. The movie could have been better. There is no atmosphere. Children don't play very well, and sometimes they just want to bring it to horror, but something is missing. Rather than a struggle for survival like Kruse, this is a movie about the conflicts of undisclosed characters. Sadly.

Scream 7

So, I must say right away that this is the 2 biggest disappointment of the year among any genre. Scream is one of the most popular franchises in general. It doesn't have any downright terrible parts. 1 and 2 and the worst 3 were interesting. Part 7 turned on the heat and again threw Sydney and now her family into danger. Now she is threatened by an old acquaintance and promised a lot of tin. 1 is already burning badly. And the characters themselves say it. And Lillard himself is kind of overdoing it. I'm glad he's partially back. But there are only a couple of scenes with him. And those are weak ones. In general, the threats and his appearance in the frame do not look like something dangerous. And the threats here are minimal. If earlier there were guesses who and what. Although there were problems with that too. Here, there are almost no murders and almost no tinplate (one scene). 

Although I saw more tin in the 4th part. The final gosts are generally a cringe. Again, they just came and merged in just a couple of minutes. In general, this part is a fan film, without much effort. And it's sad that they screwed up what they had been waiting for for many years and deceived everyone.

I haven't read or watched much about the movie. And overall, it made it easier to accept. The trailer was powerful, and one of the creators helped with movie 7 at the time. The quality is always the highest.The main question is, is this the best episode in history or Breaking Bad? I haven't watched 2 yet. But 1 is one of the best.

Why yes? The series is despite the genre of the action movie. Not an action movie at all. This is a drama and comedy about the future counterpart of Superman. There's a more vital movie here. And the mentor played by Kingsley (the very clone of the Mandarin from the 3rd part of Iron Man) history helps a lot here.Why not? Because those who are used to and waiting for every Marvel project are waiting for 4 hours of dialogues and jokes. No doubt it's interesting, but not everyone will find this story interesting and not everyone will get it. The story is more than simple and typical.Bottom line: Marvel can find something new somewhere, and that's a good thing. But I wouldn't clean up the old stuff either. Look at the Dispatch game and you'll understand me. That's where you should aim for.

The plot here is also banal, a group of people, some kind of wilderness and a strange reason to go there. A basement and a book, and as a result, a random summoning of demons that make you evil.

The main reason for the success is the atmosphere, the way it's shot. Even when the characters want to leave. you realize that there is no way out, it scares you more than what will happen next. The tin is big here, the demon that flies after you, the beheading, some actions of the branches with the girl, filmed so on the edge. Closer to the final, you realize how tough everything is. And the symbol itself is Ash, it's just a random survivor. A masterpiece. No, it's already a classic.

Another long wait. And again, the budget has increased. Part 3 is not only an action movie, not only a black comedy and horror, but also a fantasy. The days of knights and castles, and Ash are still among the dangers, but now people are dangerous too. 

Demons are already familiar here. Ash himself has already experienced, and despite his anger and sometimes stupidity, he is still a hero who saves lives. Now he's evil himself, there's a lot of very funny humor, and the effects have become richer, even though they're already very outdated, some of the ideas look fresh and unique. I also note that there are a lot of Sinister games, some pretty cool, and some are already very outdated. But in some cases, I still advise you to lose.

It's terrible that they wanted to end the trilogy with Ash falling into oblivion, but after that the ending was replaced with the one where he kills the dead again. For me, this is the best and favorite part. As well as an unexpectedly epic ending to the story.

Yes, despite the completion, something is always returned. The hype was big, the director is new, but Bruce and Sam are in the producers and are overseeing the future director of Don't breathe and Someone Else: Romulus. And it turned out well.

This is actually a sequel, as the post-credits scene tells us. And so it's the same, but now instead of a party, the motivation of the characters is to help the sister of one of the characters live another day without her favorite injections in a vein. And the characters are different and even stand out more in the game than in the original. The remake left a tin can, sometimes it seems that this is the cruelest part of the series. The franchise combined 2 franchises. Scream and I know what you did last summer. Moreover, it is very competent and interesting, while leaving a tribute to both the turns and the parody part. And if you consider that the films themselves banter the genre, this is generally something unique. One start with Carmen (ugh so far) is worth it. Sometimes it's shoving everything in a row, sometimes it's funny. Go ahead or run... to this day, even after 26 years, it is funny and quotable. 

There is also humor that is outdated or looks disgusting. But since it's a comedy, it's hard to build humor. I didn't laugh about Miss Male, I didn't laugh with very complicated references. But it's always like that. I was more worried about the parodies, they work well on the ones that are the basis. And for example, the sudden parody of the Blair Witch is not funny at all and is no longer appropriate. And unfortunately, this is a big problem of parodies. The scriptwriters are the people who made an unrealistic blockbuster, and there it's a bunch of humorless parodies.

The actors are, by the way, the symbol of the series. Anna Faris, Regina Hall, the Wayans and Elektra. Although not all parts will have everything. I think this is the highlight of the series and one of my favorite comedies, unfortunately, even now it's difficult to repeat this.

In fact, the characters just stupidly cringe around the premises and humor with references occurs. And that's another problem, nominally it's a set of scenes and not a movie.

Humor is still good. The beginning of the film became iconic. There is also a story that the legendary Brando was supposed to play tm, he was even paid, but he never played, but the money was left to him. Respect? The movie is also being dragged by old men. Faris and company. And from the new Elliot and Curry, and of course the Cross. But humor for me is still sometimes good, sometimes long-winded and not funny, sometimes nasty.

The Bell, the Signs, the sixth sense. The film became a set of scenes again. Lots of fan service. For example, the hero of part 1 became Sharif and he's just here? Any references to Guns? There's nothing going to happen to that. But then the scene from the Movie follows, is it just there? No, there are funny scenes, but they are either related to the fan service.

There is a banter moment with Screams, like they don't know who the maniac is, and then it turned out that there were a lot of them. Cool. But that's because there are many parodies of the Scream. Wes Craven is a legendary horror director and once he created many franchises. The scream has become special for many. In the 90s, many people were already bored with slashers. The Scream (1996)

The beginning of the film is iconic. Drew Barrymore was a strong movie star. But the beginning of the film is literally the banter of those who came for the star on the poster. Already at the beginning of the film, there is an iconic scene where Will Smith's wife (then also a star) dies with her boyfriend in the cinema. At the same time, they showed the franchise feature. Now we have a movie inside a movie. Like they made a movie based on the events (a franchise after and even a book). There's also a cameo by Heather Graham, by the way.

Sydney still lives in Woodsboro (the city of the series) and has found the strength to find another relationship (Jerry O'Connell) And there's this weird guy Cotton (Liev Schreiber) walking around all the time. which requires an interview to help. Well, back to the murder circle. 

I liked that Dewey would continue to become a more serious (almost) character. If in part 1 he was a fool from whom there was no protection, now he helps a lot. Well, there's a joke with him about the fact that he's a V.S.E.. But he's actually alive and well. By the way, in part 1, they tried to kill him right away, but the audience was against it.

But not everything is so rosy. Yes, there are a lot of very fast-paced murders, draining the character of part 1 and almost draining the others. In general, this is 1 out of 2 films when I really thought that they could kill everyone. But when we find out who the killer is, that's fine. Sydney has completely withdrawn into herself now. Now she lives in secret. But, (for the first time in the series) then her mother's ghost haunts her, hinting at future trouble. Yes, this is the first and so far the last film where there is a straight mystery. And then there's the most violent (in terms of deaths) goust in the series. Is it deserved? 

By the way, the nominal one in this part wanted to bring back Lillard, like the one who took revenge on Sydney all the time, but it didn't work out. That's why we have a finale where the main killer is her relative (interesting) that he takes revenge on the heroine because of her mother. Despite the scale, the film is more like an action movie, because there are no deaths where necessary. Yes, there are many of them. Now the characters of the movie and the movie inside the movie are running from the killer. Lots of cameos. Jack and silent Bob are especially strange. And the result is a finale where it seems like a straight finale, but it looks ridiculous. And Sydney's not really here.

Sydney and the others feel the murders again. Sydney is trying to protect her niece from a possible killer (yes Scream 7?). And yes, for most of the film, Emma and others are more characters in the film, because the aversion of the eyes. Yes, the old characters are still here a lot, but they are in danger, there were a lot of such scenes. But most importantly, it's the only part of the movie where I didn't know who the killer was.

The sequel still went to the box office, because everyone was immediately waiting for the new part. As you can see, the screaming is very stable, and it's not even the best part. And the 7th part after the 5th raised the bar and there were many, very many hints about Stu. But this is not Sydney's story (it's not here at all for the first time). They're different characters now.

That's where I got used to the new ones. Because there's something new here. Gawst is dangerous and already sometimes drenches leftist people. And he's not afraid to attack in public. Oh, yes, it's a city now. It's not a quiet town anymore. This is especially noticeable at the beginning of the film where Samara is killed, and then the one who killed is killed. 

Sam and Tara are in danger here again. But Gail will also be helped by the old heroine in the person of Kirby (from part 4). She became a police officer here and studies cases. There's a lot of fanaticism here. References and hints that Stu is alive. But we have random people in front of us again. By the way, there are 3 of them for the first time. But one of them killed only 1 person. And 1 of them burns a lot.

The downside is that a lot of things were shown, especially with references. It's unclear why Sam is still squirming. It is unclear why they took the plot from 3 parts and almost the same ending. Many people were waiting for Cry 7 right away. But the first problems were already at 6. The main character did not return due to the terms of the contract. After that, they leaked another one, the one that just dreamed of becoming part of the series.

The director was Kevin Williams, a screenwriter and one of the creators of the series. It's his first time making a movie. Miraculously, the star was returned. And even the old cast was adjusted. Unfortunately, not all of them even made it in the end. Unfortunately, those who have reached it are almost not needed here.

Sydney, her husband, and her daughter are safe now. Sydney is like a heroine from Halloween, traps, protection and more. Even the guns are here. There was 1 trailer released, but a lot was already screaming that we were facing the return of Stu (his voice at the end). But why is there 1 trailer, why is there talk about AI, why have the killers of the series (and the script) been leaked 3 or 4 times? And why is the movie poorly made?

To begin with, I wrote in Cry 4 that Sydney is protecting a relative, it's here. They gave us a museum for fans in the beginning. We've seen this before. They gave me brutal murders, but that was before. At least they're not so bad here either. But most importantly, they brought Stu back. But, God, the characters themselves say that this is nonsense. The scream has become a symbol that when there are no ideas, she is always there. Even if it's funny. The funny thing is that they all don't know each other and are helping each other while they are trying to escape. And they also reveal the world here. In fact, there is a war going on and the heroes are in the very center of its heart (at the end).

1 location - Ice Cream Monster

The first enemy on our way is a tall ice cream man who loves corpses and does something to take them off, he also knows how to teleport through them wherever he wants.

The best location and the scariest. The characters look like a dangerous maniac in the spirit of Gacy, and even his corpses are attacking you. In general, he is the personification of propaganda. The cinema, the people who look like silk, and the hint of sending their suitcases like cattle. And in general, he's an ice cream man, like he's luring your most loved ones, but his intentions aren't good. The heroes may have killed him, but it was difficult.

This is the first time in the history of the series that we were allowed to drive vehicles in this location. They also showed a strong difference from the 3rd part, where there is practically no set in the game and a thick gloom. Well, yes, I'll immediately note that there are 3 pieces in the game, the puzzles here are light and inconspicuous, I went through almost all of them at once.

As I understand it, this is an allegory for a society that does not accept anything and considers those who flee as enemies. How relevant is that.

By the way, self-defense has been brought in, but now it's easier than in 2 parts and 3 a bit of nightmares, it attacks easily and enemies die easily.

I'll say right away about the monster under the water. There was only one time when we were allowed to run underwater for the first time in the series. But that doesn't seem to be enough. But they fired anti-aircraft guns.

Spider

Oh yes, now for the worse. Our heroes got into the building of a typical school from the 2nd part of nightmares through a bus stop. Unfortunately, neither the monster nor the sand child enemies came to me. It looks like a self-repetition and is short and not scary and generally weak. Even though they tried to strain us by saying that one of our own would die.

And yet, they finally showed a normal action game. They also showed the sad result of the children in this world, who disappeared like ashes without leaving a trace. 

By the way, the game has posters and hats that give art and new hats for your Persians. And you can also sit sometimes. I do not know what exactly it gives.

It is also worth mentioning that the developers forgot about the conscientious game, so they gave it for free. (it probably should have been)

The final

This is the craziest, most violent, atmospheric and unfortunately mediocre part of the game.

The heroes, despite the fact that they were running from everything, got into the thick of it, anti-aircraft guns, grenades, snipers and a tank. All these are our enemies, why? I don't know, but they attack the heroes. Just here, a monster gets out of our heroine that devours all of them as a result. And this is despite the fact that the heroes have gone through so much, defeated a bunch of monsters.

The sheep is obviously a war. She devours everything and everyone, and she doesn't spare anyone. The heroes tried to kill her, but it was no use. Locations with lots of explosions, corpses and a scary sheep are scary, but what about the ending?

The final drain. It was suddenly pointed out to us that the heroes might be to blame for the sheep being here, because their cult was involved, and the girl was already aware of it somewhere inside. And everything goes round. Again, the ending is bad, which has become a cliche for the series, and again the characters here are all bad, but the good ones are not spared. Still, it's a good game. Maybe even 3 parts are better. But it has the same problems. There were bugs, even the game crashed. But it remains a big and atmospheric adventure where there is a cruel reality, children who are not very lucky and horror about monsters. Therefore, I advise you to go through it even alone. Not a story.

There are a lot of flashbacks about love in front of us. Wow, but in the original it was understandable to experience without that. Wow, there was a frightening fog and monsters behind it. Predator (1987)

After the success of Spielberg's "Alien," everyone wanted their own one. They've been in horror movies before. But the creators went cooler, they made a military horror out of it. 

We have a powerful squad led by Schwartz in front of us, which is the first time in the genre, by the way. They are sent to the jungle with a flourish, where they need to find a squad that has recently disappeared. Literally every character in the movie is a very, very pumped up and cool uncle. Breaking up a whole squad of Russians highlights their coolness. As a result, they themselves become the target of an invisible man. What his goals are is also not clear. But he kills bloodily and cruelly.

Before us is the personification of war. The characters are fresh and new, all have gone before and after they were overtaken by the cruelest thing. It's a test of their manhood. And almost everyone fails it in the end. By the way, I don't really consider a Predator to be an action movie, because here it is at the beginning, shooting into the void and at animals in the middle and the battle at the end. So it's totally horror. 

Why is that? See for yourself. There is a monster, its appearance. By the way, they don't show him, just his eyes and invisibility. His methods are brutal. He literally removes the skin, takes the skulls out of the body, and just even sounds great, especially when he replaces the voices. Well, it's clear from the movie that we're being shoved in the face with this, there are screamers and a tense ending in the end. 

The movie went viral. John McTiernan said that he could make a cool and full-fledged action movie, and then he made a Tough Nut. Well, the film grossed quite well, which turned into a sequel.

Hopkins, who shot A Nightmare on Elm Street 5, was given a sequel. Schwartz did not return, instead Glover and a couple more stars. And now we have a stone jungle.

The sequel comes from the perspective of police officers who investigate strange murders. The predator kills whoever it can and scares the locals along the way. The first part of the film is messy and doesn't stand out much. But they still notice the features of the Predator, it does not kill children, women and pregnant women. Therefore, in the movie, where the location in the subway is the most powerful. Otherwise, we have a meat slasher again that has been turned into a noir in places.

By the way, the second half of the film is the most interesting. Because the focus is already on our hero, chasing a predator and fighting on a building. As a result, we have their ship in front of us, a reward for the hero and the most important reference in history. Because after that, thanks to her, we will get a franchise and even hints of the canon. That's why I don't dislike this part. She just had more to do for her world.

Predators can be called Predator 2.0. Once again, fighters and people that somehow miraculously got to the planet of these creatures. Where they are hunted. By the way, the characters are not the best part of the film, although there are many stars in the cast. The Predators seem to take the same theme from the original, which is not in vain. But, it doesn't make sense at all, almost all the characters are not very pleasant, except for the lady and our Russian actor. That's why you don't worry too much about them.

Yes, even before the new film, they show us the planet, it's beautiful, dangerous, they have their own customs, motives, and even hatred for their own. That's why it was much more interesting to watch than in the sequel. But it's a very neat movie as a sequel. Rather, it's a test of whether a predator is still needed. The fees turned out to be yes.

But they are also pitiful, unlike the Persian Predators, and the tone of the picture will not make you bored. In terms of fees, however, the film was a success and the highest-grossing in the series. But for now, the series has been sent to a popular topic - streaming. They put the work in the hands of a hyped-up director from Cloverfield, 10 - Dan Trachtenberg. And this has already turned out to be their surest decision. 

Dan went 3 ways. The First Is Mining. This is a prequel. Distant lands, a tribe, and the sudden appearance of some kind of space monster. The main character wants to protect her people and proves it in every possible way, but they don't want to do it to her. We can already see the femme subtext.

The film takes the advantages of part 1, in the Predator itself, which is again cruel, dangerous and powerful. The main character already wants to prove her manhood and strength, so the battle awaits itself in the end. For me, it's a neat movie again (already 3), there's freedom and an important path of a Predator, with a bias towards being loved for it.

By the way, critics called the films the best in the series. I'll tell you that it's definitely the 2nd best movie in the franchise.

So now it's officially one world.

The film is more than good, humor again, good action and character development, even a couple of twists were given. Unless the current finale is flying fast here. We are waiting for the sequels.

The franchise is iconic, now it goes in different directions, and judging by the enthusiasm of critics and viewers, we are waiting for all 3 at once. There's still a lot to show and bring back. The main thing is not to forget about horror and that the image of a predator is still for this genre.

On the way, she enters a room with children, into which a short blind creature with long arms enters with her, guided only by sound, smell and touch. The sixth one bypasses him and follows on. On the way, the Sixth is tormented by hunger, and she stumbles upon a boy who gives her his bread. Following on, overcoming many deadly obstacles, the Sixth gets into the room of the same long-armed man, and then, after taking the elevator a little, begins to feel hungry again. After walking a little further, she notices a piece of meat in a metal cage and eats it. 

Along the way, a long-armed man slams the cage door, thereby trapping the Sixth One. The sixth is released from the cage and enters a room with a long-armed man wrapping someone's small body. The sixth one guesses that it is possible to move only on scattered fabric, since the fabric softens the noise from footsteps. After a short chase, the Sixth runs into a room with a metal door, which the cage prevents from closing. The sixth breaks the cage and cuts off both of the long-armed man's hands.

Having made her way to a higher level, the Sixth begins to feel hungry. She finds a rat trapped in a mousetrap and eats it.

Here is a mysterious place where an unknown heroine is trying to get out of a certain place, which turns out to be a ship. I don't really like platformers, but the setting and the wordless plot got me hooked. In front of us is a dangerous and dark world where everything is huge and big, and you are in danger at every turn in the form of zombies, slugs and those who live here. Either the monster with the long arms is doing something to the children, or the chefs are cooking something. But for a reason, there are guests who are frighteningly omnivorous, and a certain geisha runs everything. Of the pleasant characters, only the Nomes, and if you consider that these are children who have turned into such creatures, it becomes sadder. Well, yes, despite the fact that they don't tell us anything at all, the essence of the game is more than clear. But still, I advise you to listen and watch the video on YouTube in order to notice what you might have overlooked. But here it is. Surprisingly, despite the more than creepy atmosphere, it reminds me of something.

Namely, the world of some Tim Burton, where there are simple characters and very distorted unpleasant characters, either fat layoffs or monsters. That's why the game has stealth and riddles. And sometimes it's difficult to solve them even here, especially when someone is already running after you, but you can complete part 1 in 2 hours or 3. Therefore, the game is very short.

There is also an addition where the boy that got in the way of the heroine. He, too, like some children, tried to escape. But like many people, he only tried, and the ending tells us that the heroine will kill him at one moment. The addition rather complements the world, but very weakly for me, yes, there is an underwater monster, but there is only this chance, and that is not the best for me. But it reveals, as I said, the Nomes.

Well, the ending of the game tells us that the heroine is now different, having actually become part of the malice that eats around. But maybe she helped those children who can still get out. 

Plot

A boy named Mono wakes up in the forest after having a dream that he is walking down a long corridor that leads to a door with an eye-shaped symbol on it. After dodging traps scattered in the forest, Mono comes to a house owned by a taxidermist Hunter who makes stuffed animals of his victims. In the house, he meets a little girl, Six, who is playing with her box, which is being held captive by a Hunter. Mono offers to help the girl, who initially refuses and runs away, but soon accepts his help and becomes his companion.

During the game, Mono is distracted by a mysterious broadcast from televisions scattered throughout the city. Touching the TV with the broadcast, Mono reconfigures the wave and gets into that mysterious corridor with the door with the eye symbol, and constantly tries to reach the door, but the Sixth always pulls him out before he gets there.

Mono and Six escape from the Hunter's house, crossing rivers and swamps, they get into a barn and find a gun there. The Hunter chasing them tries to break into the barn, but Mono and Six kill him with a gun they found. Having built an improvised raft, Mono and Six leave the island. After crossing the sea, the heroes find themselves in a Pale City — a dilapidated metropolis with many distorted buildings, shrouded in constant rains, darkness and fog.

The children enter the school, where they encounter a rokurokubi Teacher and school students in the form of living porcelain dolls. The students take Six hostage, but Mono saves her. Running away from the teacher chasing them, the heroes escape from the school.

After passing through part of the city, Mono and Six enter the Hospital, where they first encounter mannequin patients and their individual body parts, who are afraid of direct light, and then a Doctor crawling on the ceiling, conducting cruel experiments on his patients, turning them into living mannequins with prosthetics in different parts of the body. Mono and Six split up to get out, dodging the Doctor and the patients. Later, they lure the Doctor into a cremation oven and, depending on the player's wishes, either burn him alive or leave him trapped inside and leave the Hospital.

Mono and Six enter the Pale City. As the children move forward, they discover that most of the inhabitants of the Pale City have turned into monster Viewers with distorted faces caused by prolonged watching of the broadcast and dependence on televisions. Children will also learn that the broadcast is conducted from the Lighthouse tower in the city center. If you collect all the shadows of the children in Mono, a secret ending appears after the credits, in which the Sixth falls out of the TV, meets the Dark Sixth, begins to feel hungry, and they both look at the paper with the image of the Womb.

Opinion

After about 5 years, the creators decided to make a sequel, which is also the peak of the series at the moment. Instead of loneliness and the theme of hunger and ill-treatment of children, there is now a lot of this in the sequel. It's already the first location and a frightening forest, there's also a fast-moving hunter with a gun, already scarier than any monster from the original (perhaps). But even after that, they throw us into one of the best locations - a school where children study under the supervision of a teacher whose creepy head stretches in length (a reference to Japanese mythology) and then throws us into an even more creepy location where there are creepy mannequins. In the end, they end up in a certain city where they will be chased by a certain long creature (A reference to Slender).

The second part takes the standard rule, you take bigger and bigger and better. There is no other way, now this is not an indie game, but a full-fledged big game where you will complete it not in 5 hours, but even more. At the same time, the levels are more difficult here, but you can protect yourself. Although the problem is that it's incredibly inconvenient and the partner doesn't do it for himself here. But it's not useless either, and rather a great addition, thanks to which it's not boring, Apparently it was noticed in the dls, Where they also noticed jumping to a place where you can go down and pull-ups together and, of course, tearing off the boards.

The world itself is even scarier, as are the enemies, if in part 1 I was only afraid of long-arm, now everyone here is creepy. And the atmosphere itself has become even more stylistic. Well, even despite finding a partner on the screen, the tension does not subside, but on the contrary. Unfortunately, there are some bugs with jumping and clinging, and the bot is also sometimes stupid, but this does not spoil the game.

By the way, the ending is gloomy again, and I think the twist is more than worthy. Unlike many others in the games, he is bold and shocking. Well, it more than reveals this world as terrible. But I still don't understand where the good characters are. But maybe the sequel will show it?

Then they get to the circus, where everything is run by a one-armed man in a suit. He, too, as in the first part, the heroine invites guests, controls some puppets, holds children captive, and of course, all this is not for nothing. Does he also have a live 2 arm? If there is a hand at all. The heroes escape on a balloon and end up in a hospital (the place is similar to the place from part 2. The heroes defeat him, by the way, along the way they were looking for mirrors to find a better world. In the finale, one character moves there, but the partner does not, as it turns out, she is just a doll that the main characters loved. Another sad ending, by the way.

So. Just the other day, I passed the new part. I'm glad it's already out, so I decided to share what it's good about. It was made by another studio. But you can see in the details, places and appearance that they emphasized the first parts, but tried to complement them. 

Of the features, there is now a joint passage, and the characters are different. One shoots, the other hits. Well, again, we need to think and do something together. However, in this part, rather, everything was simplified. There are still places where you can think, but not everywhere it scares you. Not enough, though.  But, even without this, the game goes on for more than 8 hours. And if with someone, then 5 if you are not stupid. True, there are bugs, there are not many of them, but if you play alone, then the bot can be stupid. However, he is smarter here than in 2 parts and is more than fast and helps no less. So that's a big plus. And it will add complexity by playing as an archer.

The design of the game is still the same and has not changed, we have different locations again, a city that has frozen and a frightening titan in the form of a child. A fast-moving factory where the same bugs can devour you. The circus is rightfully the best location in this part and the main evil here is just a terrible evil and the ending is again the titan who runs the hospital. It's hard to beat him, because there are a lot of actions, that's why he's the final one. The developers understood how part 1 and 2 work, so the world is still the same. But, many people did not like that the game more than does not work on details, but rather only shows the world, but this is not the case.

The world itself can actually be imagined as a fantasy or a frightening dream. Even the very name of the world says that it just appeared. Most likely, this is a reflection of the hero's world, where everyone has abandoned him, the mother is the same and the father is still at work, and trips to the circus and sweets are nothing more than a faded and darker memory against the whole background. What brought the hero to the hospital to see that doctor. And that's why he's here, thanks to the toy, he remembers at least some good opinion about that place, but it's gone, he still wants to return to his family. Has he returned? We don't know. But the toy doesn't have him there, but most likely this is the world where everything is real, but the characters no longer like him, even in a creepy world where everything is bad, there was a friend.

This is one big detail of the game. The concept itself and everything that happens around it. With references to the previous parts, it is precisely because of this that the world here is interesting. By the way, thanks to the finale, you can understand even more how big the world is here and still explore it. So we are waiting for the addition.

A little bit about the mobile game and more

Very little Nightmares is a mobile game and another addition to the journey of the heroine of part 1.

A girl in a yellow raincoat has a dream in which she runs away from someone until she locks herself in a barn, propping up the door with a board. Upon waking up, the girl notices that the balloon she was flying on has pierced the roof of a mansion calledNest, burst and stuck among the debris. She continues her journey on foot.

Along the way, the Girl comes face to face with a girl in white clothes, while she was running through the pipes to the ventilation opening. Running through a warehouse of cages, the Girl rescues a child in a scarf, but in the process she accidentally runs into a Craftsman — an old man with a disability with long arms and legs. Running away from this monster, she manages to hide in one of the doll boxes, which were immediately sent by elevator to the buildings.A butler with the gift of telekinesis. The heroine manages to get away from him, hiding in the halls.The pretender is a spoiled little mistress who runs the Nest.

Eventually, the girl reaches the main entrance to the Nest, where she is immediately overtaken by the Butler. Without stopping, she runs out into the garden and runs away from the telekinetic for some time. A girl in white helps her in this, who also managed to escape from the mansion, with whom she opens the gate and runs across the trench. Soon, the new partner falls behind, and the heroine is already alone locked in the barn, still thinking that the Butler is chasing her.

After passing through the doll dump, the girl accidentally attracts the attention of the Pretender, who was sitting on the edge of a cliff with a broken doll. Reacting aggressively to the heroine, she chased after her. Despite the danger, the Girl saves her surviving partner in white clothes from falling on sharp rocks, for which she throws a boulder on the Pretender in gratitude. The girls stare at her for a few seconds, until she stands up abruptly, unharmed, and attacks the main character. Unfortunately, the Girl in the yellow raincoat could not keep her balance, and she and the Pretender fall into the ocean, in which they drown.

In the post-credits scene, a girl in white clothes (who was the Sixth all this time) is shown running to the raft on which she is going to sail away.

To be honest, it was more interesting to read the plot. The game as a whole has left the atmosphere and style (not visual) of the original. But the gameplay is not very convenient and is more like just a puzzle game. Unfortunately, I did not complete the game, but I can say that it is there.

The results are like this. The world of the game is huge, a whole fandom has appeared where everything has already been perfectly studied inside and out. And the action itself has long been transferred even to the comics. Which, by the way, I advise you to read. And in general, the game is so cozy that you will want to explore everything that is here. Therefore, I am glad that the series will live without the main creators. By the way, next year they will release their new universe with the same gameplay, which promises to be even scarier and you will not be allowed to run alone again.
