Sarik came to his senses a long time ago and even started making more or less digestible movies. And here we have a poorly made and fake story about a boy who decided to live by himself. Acting is dead and lifeless. The graphics are bad. And the story and atmosphere just disappeared from the first meeting with the cat. There's nothing, nothing related to the original at all. It was all scary. It's not the screamers here, but something else. When you see only fog in front of you. Is the game not adaptable? No. It's a pretty deep piece. Even Yamooki's sound conveys everything here. There is more than one ending, even everyone chooses their own path from the character. Give this material to some Scorsese and he would have shot Island of the Damned 2. Have you noticed vibe? What's wrong with the movie? Everything is simple. This is the speedrun of history. Not a story.

There are a lot of flashbacks about love in front of us. Wow, but in the original it was understandable to experience without that. Wow, there was a frightening fog and monsters behind it. Do you remember 1 movie? Yes, it was all there. And the characters and the fog and the story. Even the finale. By the way, the finale is a plus here. Well, sometimes it's gloomy. The heroine has a secret and, accordingly, a goal. But unfortunately, I still did not understand it. The film looks great from the acting side. He also tries to play comedy and horror in some places. And there's plenty of tin here. Even hello, there are Sinister dead. Generally. It's trivial. The finale didn't come either. But in good hands, it's a peppy movie that's worth a look. But the quality has dropped, and this indicates a bad thing. It's sad, but such a movie will be promoted a lot more.

Let me remind you that the series wasn't really a slasher. It's a chamber horror about playing with a killer, and here's a slasher with silent villains. To summarize. It's not such a terrible movie. The trilogy tried to do more, but forgot what the meaning of the original was. After part 1, it was possible to completely go into the villains and reveal them. Focus on them. It's obvious. Make part 3 the grand finale. Thus, connect the 2nd and 3rd parts. 

Of course, this did not save the logic of many points. But at least it was interesting. But there's still Harlinkat waiting for us, where all three parts will become one movie. Do we need it?
