Hey there, reader! Welcome to another edition of the monthly digest! 🍁
Summer’s final stretch is here, and with it comes a batch of changes worth mentioning before we dive into the content itself. First up, a new format just launched on the site: tierlists, giving authors a whole new way to rank and sort anything they can dream up. Second, profile customization is now live, powered by PikuCoins – so if you’ve been sitting on a stash, now’s the time to put it to use. And don’t forget to pencil in October 10, 2026! That’s when the autumn contest officially kicks off, so it might be a good time to start planning ahead.
Now, onto the main event: another month has passed, and the creators of Pikuco have once again filled the feed with tests and posts worth your attention. If digging through the endless stream of content for something genuinely well-made – clean writing, thoughtful design, no sloppy mistakes – isn’t your idea of fun, you’ve landed exactly where you need to be. We’ve handled the searching so you don’t have to. Grab a seat, get your “bookmarks” ready, and let’s dive in!

There are games we play, and then there are games we spend years waiting for. @@ChtotoVajnoe@@’s tournament is all about the second category. Here you will find highly anticipated titles that are still waiting for their release, and your task is to decide which upcoming game deserves the most excitement. If you already have a game on your wishlist that you simply cannot wait for, come and see whether other players agree with you.

You probably know quite a few movies based on popular games. But what about the adaptations that somehow escaped your attention? @@Kinofil@@ has collected films that you might not even realise originated from video games. This is a chance to discover some unexpected connections between cinema and gaming, and perhaps add a few titles to your watchlist.

Imagine that you could choose one fictional character to protect you forever. Who would you trust with the job?..

In this tournament, @@G_1974593541@@ invites you to decide which car model deserves the top spot. Whether you are a serious car enthusiast or simply have a favourite model, there should be something here worth fighting for.

Think you can pick your favorite instrument just by looking at it? @@DNK@@ takes a different approach. The test features 128 different musical instruments, but you do not need to know their names. Instead, you can listen to how each one sounds and choose the sound you like best. It is a fun choice for anyone who enjoys music and wants to discover which instrument appeals to their ear the most. Which one will become your favorite?

What if you had to choose just one composer whose music deserves the title of the best? This test brings together some of the biggest names in classical music, including Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Rachmaninoff and many other legendary composers.
Here you can compare the masters of different eras and decide whose music has made the strongest impression on you. If you have a favorite composer, this is a good chance to see how far your choice can go.

Talking animals, funny pets, wild creatures and unforgettable animated characters have been part of cartoons for generations. @@Ricardio@@ brings them together in a tournament where you get to choose the cartoon you consider the best. The hardest part may be deciding between something nostalgic and something you still happily watch today.

What if the White House were occupied by fictional characters instead of real politicians? The test brings together characters who could theoretically take on the role of the President of the United States and lets you consider who would make the most convincing choice. The concept alone is enough to make this one rather curious.

Have you ever started a promising TV series, watched several episodes and then suddenly realised you had completely lost the desire to continue? @@dobromir228@@ takes a look at this familiar problem and asks why finishing modern shows can sometimes feel harder than starting them. If you have an unfinished list of series somewhere in your head, this post may feel surprisingly familiar.

Spider-Man has appeared in plenty of movies, and naturally, everyone has their own ranking. @@Kinofil@@ decided to go through the films and compare them, looking at which versions worked and which ones left something to be desired. If you have ever argued with someone about the best Spider-Man movie, this ranking gives you another opinion to consider.

It was interesting to watch the author try different options while trying to finally settle on just one. The result is a light and fun post about how difficult it can be to make a choice when you want to try everything at once. If you’ve ever found yourself in the same situation, take a look and see where these experiments eventually lead.
