Benoit Blanc (actor Daniel Craig)
This is the third installment in Rian Johnson's "Get Knives" franchise, where Detective Benoit Blanc (actor Daniel Craig) reappears, but this time the story revolves around a murder in a small Catholic church in New York State. The new chapter shifts the focus from rich families and social elites to issues of faith, power, personality, and morality.
The film is noticeably saturated with symbols, namely the conflict of the power of faith and the severity of doubts, the clash of true aspirations with external expectations. Here you can see references to biblical stories, for example, the struggle of the weak against the strong (David and Goliath).

James is fishing
The Irish-British drama film directed by John Michael McDonagh, in which the central character is a Catholic priest Father James, who lives in a small town. The genre of the film is a deep drama with elements of black humor and reflection, where the issue of faith, forgiveness and human pain comes to the fore. It was hard to watch the movie because almost all the characters are repulsive with their level of filth, but I think it's a good experience.
A brief plot summary: Father James listens to a confession in which a parishioner informs him that he has been sexually abused by a deceased clergyman for many years. After that, he says he will kill James because he is too good and an innocent priest. With these words, he gives the holy father a week to put things in order.

Golgotha is a small rock or hill where, according to the New Testament, Jesus Christ was crucified.
