Back to The Future 4

The success of Back to the Future in 1985 led to the production of two sequels. Since the production of the third film in the trilogy was completed, director Zemeckis, screenwriter Bob Gale and the cast have had to deal regularly with fans asking if Back to the Future 4 will ever be released.

It's no secret that the screenwriter and producer of the trilogy "Back to the Future" Bob Gale and screenwriter and director Robert Zemeckis publicly condemned the idea of releasing the fourth film in this series, and Gale compared such an idea to "selling your own children."

However, the movie stars are not against this idea. Marty McFly actor Michael J. Fox believes it's time for the movie "Back to the Future" starring a woman, and Doc Emmett Brown actor Christopher Lloyd has expressed interest in returning to the franchise. According to Lloyd, Back to the Future 4 will work best if it does two things: it touches on something important in our modern culture and at the same time manages to preserve the atmosphere of the first three films of the franchise.

Lloyd also shared the idea of another visit to the Back to the Future franchise, which will be a crossover with the famous Adult Swim animated series Rick and Morty, which was just born as a parody of the adventures of Marty McFly and Doc Brown.

Meanwhile, the Internet continues to fantasize about the new movie "Back to the Future", and recently released a fan trailer with Marvel star Tom Holland, whose name is often mentioned when it comes to fan casting for the role of the new Marty McFly.

But whether it's a sequel, prequel, or reboot, the fourth "Back to the Future" movie is unlikely to ever be released, which is hard to believe given the era we live in, when almost every franchise is pulled from the sands of time for some kind of reinvention.

Considering all of the above, the chances that "Back to the Future 4" will ever be released could increase slightly, judging by recent comments by Robert Zemeckis regarding the sequel to his other film.

The director recently revealed that a sequel to his iconic Christmas classic created with 3D animation and motion capture, the 2004 Polar Express, may be in development.

The Polar Express is a 2004 animated film directed by By Robert Zemeckis based on the book of the same name by author Chris Van Allsburg. Both the original story and the Zemeskis adaptation tell about the exciting Christmas journey of children on the magical Polar Express train to the North Pole to To Santa Claus.

And now, when, it would seem, when everyone's favorite Christmas classic finally gets a sequel, perhaps nothing is sacred in Hollywood anymore, not even the "Back to the Future" franchise, because Robert Zemeckis may eventually decide to make another film from this series.

Personally, I have little faith in the possibility of a direct continuation of "Back to the Future", given the words Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis, as well as Christopher Lloyd's age and Michael J. Fox's illness. However, some kind of reset of the story from a clean slate may well be possible.

Although over the past few decades, not a small number of projects have come out in this franchise, which are various variations of the continuation of the original trilogy, albeit not in the format of films, for example, the animated series "Back to the Future" in 1991, comics from IDW publishing co-authored with Bob Gale, as well as a game from Telltale Games.

Thus, the question arises, do we even need a new iteration of "Back to the Future"?

I suggest you take a survey regarding the possibility of a sequel to the franchise "Back to the Future".
