The story revolves around Lim Joo Kyung— an ordinary schoolgirl who has endured ridicule since childhood because of her appearance. In her old school, she was called a "monster", she was an outcast who had no friends, but only errands from "cool" girls.
The turning point comes when her family moves away, and Joo Kyung gets a chance to start over. She learns the art of makeup through video tutorials and turns into the "goddess" of the school. But behind the veneer lies a panicked fear.: What would happen if everyone saw her real face?
2. The Main Love Triangle (Battle of the Titans)
The plot centers on the confrontation between two charismatic guys who were once best friends, but became enemies due to a tragedy in the past.
Lee Soo Ho (Cha Eun Woo): A cold handsome man, an excellent student and the "prince" of the school. He is the first to learn Joo Kyung's secret when he sees her without makeup in a comic book store (their shared "hideout"). It's not the "mask" that attracts him, but her sincerity, kindness, and general strange fascination with horror.
Han Seo Joon (Hwang In-yeop): A "bad guy" on a motorcycle, a rebel with a soft heart. His relationship with Joo Kyung begins with comical skirmishes, but develops into deep, devoted love. He's ready to be there for her, even knowing that her heart is elsewhere.

The drama is much deeper than just a story about cosmetics:
Self-acceptance: The main character goes from hating her reflection to realizing that she is not loved for her "painted" eyebrows.
The tragedy of idols: The line-up with their mutual friend Jung Se Young reveals the dark side of the K—pop industry - the pressure of haters, loneliness, and how the industry breaks down young people.
