Statistics: Which region from the Arknights universe is right

The Ursus Empire is an allusion to the Russian Empire with a pinch of Soviet flavor. Sprawled along the uninhabited northern wastelands, the Ursus Empire is the largest country on the continent, inhabited mainly by Ursi and once ruled by Hippogriffs. Historically, it was expansionist and extremely belligerent, but after the war with Higashi, it survived a bloody civil war, and nevertheless established internal peace. In Ursus, the problem of infected people is very acute. After the reign of the penultimate tyrant emperor, their situation is extremely deplorable. They are despised and shunned. This, in turn, gave rise to the Reunion movement, most of whose leaders hail from the Ursus Empire. Anyway, at the time of the events of the game, the current emperor is trying to balance between the factions of the aristocrats and the military, weaken the despotism of the previous monarch and develop the industry of the state. Even despite the crisis between Chernobog and Langmen, Emperor Fyodor managed to keep the peace. While.

Sami is not quite a state, but rather a confederation of tribes close to each other culturally, religiously, and under common threat from Collapsals from the northern wastelands. The main prototype from real life is the Scandinavian and Finno-Ugric tribes. Most of the population are Elaphians, but there are visiting Sarcasm Cyclopes and Elves. The tribes themselves live in harmony with nature and are governed by shamans, religious and political leaders. There is no single government, but in case of a major threat, a council of chiefs can be convened. Also, Sami is an extremely isolated region, and foreigners are treated warily at best, even if there are official ties with Colombia. They are no less strict towards their relatives than towards newcomers. The rules are simple and primitive, dictated by religion and culture, glorifying the All-Father. Nevertheless, each tribe is very united, especially in the face of danger. But if you doubt yourself or your faith, if you have violated or wanted to violate the rules Yourself, then the answer is always simple - leave Yourself.

Laterano's image refers to the Vatican and the Papal States of the Middle Ages. Inhabited mainly by Saints and Liberi, Laterano has extensive spiritual and cultural influence on most of the surrounding countries, being the center of the Lateran Church. Everyone here obeys the Law - a set of rules, dogmas that define what is allowed and what is not. In addition, Laterano is the center of the firearms industry. Every Saint gets his first weapon at the age of 12. Each weapon operates on the basis of innate Arts St. Petersburg, and is their companion throughout their lives. Nevertheless, Laterano is an extremely peaceful and relatively free state in terms of politics. At the same time, Laterano has an extremely hostile, demonizing attitude towards Sarcasm, and the attitude of the ruling classes towards other races is rather dismissive, even to the point of unofficial segregation. In any case, if you are Sancta and obey the Law, Laterano is heaven on earth. If you are not Sancta, then you will not be killed here and will be protected. Most likely.

A highly developed civilization hidden under the waves of the sea off the coast of Iberia. It boasts scientific and technological development far surpassing the surface states. It is inhabited mainly by the Aegir race of the same name. The government is a technocratic confederation with a bicameral parliament consisting of the Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Technology. Communication with the land states was relatively stable, especially with nearby Iberia, but after a Profound Silence, almost all communication was cut off. Aegir's main threat is the Seaborn race, which seeks to assimilate all living things, and the Church of the Depths, which promotes this. To counter them, Aegir created the Hunters of the Abyss by mixing Aegir and Seaborn DNA. Other jokes of Egir are FREE medical care and the lack of a family institution. Most Egirs believe that the family interferes with the individualization of the child, so they grow up in a special environment. institutions. You can even extract and donate an embryo to them in advance.

Iberia, referring to the real states of the peninsula of the same name and inhabited mainly by Liberi and Aegir, was once a great maritime power claiming world domination. Thanks to the technological exchange with Aegir, Iberia was able to quickly overtake all competitors and even defeat Victoria at sea, but a Deep Silence put an end to everything. After extensive flooding inundated Iberia's coastal cities, including their capital and king, Iberia became a shadow of the once great state, plagued by the constant threat of Seaborns from the sea. To restore order and protect the citizens, the Church of Iberia took over the reins of government, which people called out to in the midst of chaos. The Church and its Inquisition do indeed maintain order and relative stability through conservatism, isolationism, and repression. The most important enemy of the Inquisition is the Church of the Depths, which has penetrated Iberian society from the inside. Aegirs are the main target of suspicion and repression, as they are the basis for the influence of the Church of the Depths.

Victoria, obviously based on the British Empire, like its counterpart, is a maritime power with claims to global influence. A modern nation ruled by the Draco and Aslan races, although mostly populated by Felins. It is focused on power and expansion and has a developed economy and a strong army. According to the form of government, Victoria was originally a unitary monarchy, but after the revolution, a ruling parliament of aristocrats was formed, and the royal throne was empty for more than 20 years. At the same time, Victoria is one of the first states to embark on the path of industrial development, thanks to which it was able to establish a number of colonies, including the now independent Colombia. Anyway, after the revolution, Victoria's business faltered. It is still a great power, but it has lost a significant part of the stability and territory of Tara. Neighboring countries have increased their power, and in addition to the royalists, the threat is a growing secret network among the nobility, which makes it unclear who can be trusted and who can not.

Kazimierz is a country based on a real medieval Poland. Kazimierz is mainly inhabited by Chimes and is a confederation of many chivalric orders under the leadership of a Grand Knight in the role of head of state. At the same time, the class of merchants and industrialists, who insist on the development of the feudal state, has a huge influence. Although Kazimierz has been opening up to new technologies over time, most feudal traditions still exist, such as chattel slavery and a clear hierarchy. At the same time, those infected in Kazimierz feel much better than in most other states, although internal discrimination still occurs, including ghettos and gladiatorial tournaments between Infected knights. Kazimierz's main problem is the impossibility of the coexistence of noble chivalric traditions and a corrupt society of the rich. Social inequality is growing in Kazimierz, especially evident in the difference between prosperous mega-cities and settled villages.

Colombia is the only officially democratic nation on Terra, with an ever-re-elected president, Mark Max. Historically and culturally similar to the United States in the real world. The racial composition is extremely mixed, but fairly equal in rights, although Sarcasm and Infected people are still used as pioneers in the settlement of dangerous, desolate lands. Colombia was originally a colony of Victoria, but gained independence with the support of Galia. Since then, it has pursued an expansionist policy and has rapidly developed its technology, weapons, culture, and economy. However, such ambitions have brought it into conflict with many neighbors, most notably with Bolivar, which has been fighting a slow-moving war for many years. Colombia's interests also extend to Sargon and Sami, where the Colombian government supports fringe anti-traditionalist societies. At the moment, Colombia is suffering from corruption and the decline of democracy, but it is making a leap in space exploration. For the good of Terra, or not.

Bolivar represents the collective image of Latin American countries and is inhabited mainly by the Perrot race. Bolivar does not have impressive self-defense capabilities, but it has huge reserves of Originium. Once a colony of Iberia, Bolivar gained independence and soon came under the influence of Leitania at the level of a puppet state. After the independence of Colombia, Bolivar split into three warring factions: the Kingdom of Bolivar (under the fifth of Leitania), the Sovereign State of Bolivar (a satellite of Colombia) and the True Bolivar Liberation Movement (a leftist guerrilla junta). All three sides of the conflict are waging an endless civil war with the only neutral center - the capital of Bolivar, Dossoles, a surprisingly calm resort town. Due to its civil war, Bolivar is a testing center for various types of weapons, as well as a proxy conflict field between Colombia and Leitanya. However, due to the lack of factional forces, the position in the country is deadlocked after 45+ years of war.

Leitania is one of the main powers of Terra, the birthplace of classicism and possession of Art. It is based on the German states of Europe and is a confederate elected monarchy, populated mainly by Caprines and Elaphii. In Leitania, music is one of the national ideas, and many Arts are named with an allusion to it. But because of the obsession with Viruses, those who could not use them were called defective, and the rights of those Infected were severely curtailed, even to the point of using them as test subjects in the past. The climax came during the period of the tyranny of the Sorcerer King, during which Leithania was most powerful. Nevertheless, after his overthrow by Two Empresses, the situation in the country became more calm. Leithania is still on the list of great powers and aspires to influence the world, but a number of internal problems prevent it from regaining its former power. The unique status of two women on the throne at once haunts the influential aristocracy, and centralization is hampered by the tradition of dividing the country into Lands with local Electors.

Kierag is located on the main mountain range of Terra and is an oligarchic theocracy, the main deity of which is Kieragander. Because of the snowy mountain terrain that protects it from Disasters and invasions, it has earned the nickname of the "Snow Kingdom". For a long time, Kierag was isolated from the rest of Terra, sticking to the old ways, preferring stability and security. But there was still a movement for careful modernization. It flourished when the heir of one of the main clans of Kieraga, returning from studying abroad, decided to change everything and founded the Karlan trading company, intending to open up to the world. Initially, everything went according to plan, but the resulting disparity between the three great clans almost led to a civil war. This was prevented literally by a miracle - Kieragander came down from the mountains and put an end to the conflict. The nation has reunited and opened up to the world for outside investment, but also for influence. The climax was the clash with Victoria, which showed the power of a single Kieraga.

Minos consists of three major city-states within a single confederation. It is inhabited mainly by the Forte race, who practice a primitive Athenian-type democracy with a lot of religious influence. Minos is known as the patron saint of art, and their warrior culture and cult of the 12 Heroes who freed Minos from Sargon produce both effective weapons and noble warriors. Also, sports and various competitions are extremely popular in Minos, and tourism is encouraged. There is even an analogue of the Olympic Games - the Hanoi Games. At the same time, the noble cult of heroes protects the Infected from segregation, allowing them to live a peaceful life and receive medical care. The only restriction is a ban on holding priestly positions, as they cannot be blessed by Heroes. Minos is basically an agrarian power, and almost all the factories are remnants of Sargon rule. They are of high quality, but few in number. At the same time, Sargon wants to return the former colony, so border skirmishes are constant to this day.

Sargon is a collective image of the Islamic empires of the Middle East, with the addition of Egyptian and Mesoamerican details. The king of kings of Sargon rules the ancient empire through a system of satrapies ruled by padishahs and amirs. The state is a confederate monarchy with the ruling race of Aslan. Sargon is one of the oldest civilizations on Terra, and their vast territories stretch across the southern tip of the habitable lands. At the height of his power, Sargon began to explore the collapsing lands of Foen, but it ended in a Pyrrhic victory and subsequent ecological disaster, after which Sargon's power was irreversibly shaken. The Aslan clan lost legitimacy, and many representatives of the race fled, founding, for example, the Royal House of Victoria. Most of the lands have become a desert, the King's power is formal, and local skirmishes and loss of territories only decentralize Sargon even more. The once hegemon of Terra has become a backwater backward country torn apart from inside and out.

A de jure part of Colombia, a de facto sovereign city-state. Initially, Siesta was founded as a Colombian trading post on the way to Iberia, but after a Profound Silence, any connection with the homeland was lost, so the Siesta government decided to start an independent self-government. Nevertheless, after Victoria's attempt to annex the country, Siesta agreed to become a Commonwealth within Colombia, but with strict conditions of independent foreign policy and sovereignty, making it the only independent city-state on Terra. Siesta is one of the few states that is not rotten from the inside. Its mayor has set himself the goal of making a little paradise out of Siesta, and he succeeds. Even despite the forced move to a new mobile platform and increased pressure from Colombia, Siesta remains independent in internal affairs and attracts a huge number of tourists and businessmen, who make up more than half of the country's population. Even those infected here have protection and medical care.

Syracuse is a clear allusion to Italy. They are a confederation of 22 autonomous city-states under the control of 12 mafia families, headed by the Godfather, the formal head of state. For a long time, Syracuse was part of Leithania, being its most painful place, until the officially recognized independence of Syracuse by decree of the Sorcerer King. Independence was celebrated, however, for only two days, after which Syracuse immediately fell into total anarchy between warring families for 70 years. Order came only when the Donna of one fallen family was able to unite the rest of the Dons in the Gray Court, a de facto state authority, by introducing the rule of "Weapons and Order." At the moment, Syracuse is going through a period of stability. Their cuisine is appreciated throughout Terra, laws are made according to Colombian traditions, opera is the property of both aristocrats and commoners, and families do not interfere with peaceful people. Even if the mafia is still scheming, there is already a generation of people who dream of a country without the mafia.

Rome Billiton is a unique state of Terra. This is an obvious corporatocracy, run by several family communities with almost complete absence of national bodies, which makes Rome Billiton akin to anarchy. The main race is the Kaut, although many other races are also present. The lands of Rome Billiton are extremely rich in natural resources, especially Originium. Because of this, many states began to colonize these territories for their extraction, but constant Disasters and an unpleasant climate forced them to retreat. Nevertheless, the colonies remained, united with the local Kaut and founded their own state - Rome Billiton. Rome Billiton is a young but proud and wealthy state that stood up to the colonists from Victoria and Leitania. Due to the reserves of Originium, there are probably the largest number of Infected citizens here, who are sent to the mines in order not to infect healthy miners. But even now, Victoria is trying to regain control of the region, remaining an eternal threat.

Yang, which is an allusion to Imperial China, is one of the few truly centralized countries on Terra. Located in the East and ruled by the Lung race, Yang represents the only ancient power on Terra that has been able to adapt over time and remain an economic, cultural, and political hegemon to this day. The ruling Lung dynasty ascended to the throne after the first emperor united the disparate tribes and overthrew the proud Feranmut gods, thus beginning an era of stability and prosperity. Although Yang is not involved in international conflicts, his military might is not questioned by anyone, and the guiding principle of legalism encourages racial pluralism in the country. Even the Infected are not harassed, except for restrictions on freedom of movement. However, after the Chernobyl incident, the increased activity of Collapsals, Seaborns, and the risk of Sui's return, Yang's stability was shaken. The government is still strong, but new threats cannot be hidden for long.

Higashi, the local Japan of the Sengoku period, is unique in its form of government - Diarchy. The conservative shogunate in the north rules the Higashi peoples side by side with their constitutional monarchist counterparts in the south. This situation, which appeared after a difficult civil war, is both an advantage of Higashi and a very dangerous disadvantage. Politically, Higashi has long and very close ties with Yang, adopting culture and economics from them. After the bloody war with Ursus, Higashi finally united and entered a "Prosperous 20 Years," experiencing an industrial, cultural, and economic boom. The north became a military center, while the south became an economic center. However, the old problems have not gone away, and new ones have only been added. Higashi is located too close to the sea and the Northern Wastelands, so the threat from Seaborns and Collapsals is constant. Meanwhile, large investments in an agrarian country have led to the growth of an economic bubble, which may be the beginning of a new internal crisis.

Technically, the very first state of Terra, founded in ancient times by the people of Tikaz, before their disintegration into other races. Kazdel was destroyed by the arrival of the other races, provoking the first Sarcasm King to cause the first Catastrophe in history, thus committing the "Original Sin", thus causing the other races to despise Sarcasm. The monarchy of Kazdel itself is the only nomadic city-state constantly plagued by internal conflicts. Nevertheless, there was a period of sudden prosperity and peace in its history, during the reign of the twins Teresa and Teresis, marked by a dramatic development of the country. However, after a series of intrigues, the shaky peace ended in a renewed civil war between the ultra-nationalist Kazdel Military Commission and the more moderate Babel. The strength of a country so connected to Originium was clearly shown during the crisis in Londinium, when the VKK occupied the capital of a proud superpower. Perhaps the fear of Sarcasm has a real basis.

Not so much a state as a supranational organization that has some kind of influence throughout Terra. Rhodes' base is a landship of the same name, functioning as a mini-nomadic city. Rhodes' goal is to help those Infected, study and treat Oripathy, and manage political conflicts. Rhodes' military strength is quite large. It has two VTOL aircraft and a number of land vehicles. Medical care in Rhodes, of course, is paid, but there is an option to "work off" your medical expenses by working as a staff or operative. Most of Rhodes' income is either donations from those who are treated in Rhodes, or from transactions with business partners. As follows from the purpose of Rhodes, this is practically the only place where Infected people can feel comfortable. Not only are they not harassed, but they are also encouraged to improve their Skills. Nevertheless, Rhodes' political status is extremely unique, his neutrality is disputed, and his problems are his middle name.

The kingdom of Tara, inhabited mainly by Felins and ruled by Draco, has a long history closely related to Victoria, just like their real prototypes: Ireland and Great Britain. The once independent Tara was annexed by Victoria in order to "form a fraternal alliance" against the Nightsmoran Khaganate, although Tara's own sources accuse Victoria of actually conquering her state. The title of Gaelic king, although it remained for the ruler of the lands of Tara within Victoria, was still extremely limited in powers. And after the royal family of Draco replaced the Aslan family in Victoria, Tara suddenly became the last patrimony for Draco. Even though the Aslans promised to build a Dualistic Monarchy for the Aslans and the Draco, it remained only on paper. In fact, Victoria downgraded Tara's status to an ordinary duchy, and its inhabitants were oppressed, which led to the growth and radicalization of local nationalists, which eventually led to the declaration of independence after the crisis in Londinium.

Durin is a confederation of an indefinite number of city-states with direct democracy. It is inhabited by a race of the same name, brought up to reverence and honor their homeland. But the main feature of Durin is its underground location. Each city of Durin is located inside a dome capable of simulating the surface of Terra, and the cities are connected by railways. Although the Durin tribes are culturally quite primitive, with a cult of reverence for "Mother Nature" and many spiritual rituals, Durin technologically surpasses the surface states in some aspects. Also, due to this, discrimination or segregation of Infected People is practically non-existent as a fact. For most of history, Durin remained isolated from the surface for obvious reasons, until one of the cities accidentally dug an elevator to the surface. From that moment on, many Durin began to explore the surface of Terra, not so much for technological and cultural exchange as for fun and adventure.

Gaul is a once-existing country and a superpower of Terra. It was an imperialist monarchy ruled by the Liberi race. In many ways, it is similar to France in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, but it has several similarities with the Roman Empire. Gallic culture was appreciated throughout Terra, and the Gallic language was the first international language of the planet. Many Gallic crafts, such as winemaking and baking, were so unique that they could not be restored after the fall of the Empire. Gaul was an extremely expansionist state, not only culturally, but also politically. Her threat forced Victoria, Leitania, and Ursus to form a military alliance against Gaul, beginning the War of the Four Emperors. In its course, the last emperor of Gaul died during a decisive battle, and his faithful wife later died during the siege of the capital. The spoils of war allowed Victoria and Ursus to take Gallia's place. Although it has gone down in history in many ways, loyalists still remain and are waiting for the right moment to restore the country.
