So... Tierlists!

31.08.2026
Hey there, dear Friends!

Some of you have been waiting a long time for this update, and here it is: you can now create tierlists on the site.

Rather than going on about it for ages, I decided to make you an example you can check out for yourselves: Tierlist of the Solar System planets.

As you can see, the interface and the overall flow of taking it differ a bit from what's usually considered a "tierlist". Unlike other similar tools, we have a large preview of the current item, along with its name and description.

I believe this kind of interface gives more information to the person taking the tierlist, as well as to viewers of the stream it's being taken on.

On top of that, items can't be dragged between tiers, so mobile users don't run into scrolling issues (you want to swipe down, but end up swiping the item into the next column instead).

For rearranging, there's a separate full-screen window, opened via the "Rearrange" button, which also pops up automatically at the end of the pass:

We also have a feature for limiting the number of slots in each tier, at the author's discretion:

And now, quick answers to your likely questions:

  • Why isn't tierlist a passing mode for tournaments? Tournaments have their own restrictions on the number of items: 32/64/128 and so on. That doesn't fit tierlists;
  • Will tierlists take part in contests? Yes, they have their own nomination, minimum 32 items, and the prize pool has been increased accordingly;

A few more nice little things...

A block of handy links to pages with content sorted by type on the homepage, plus a redesign of the top block:

Nice new artwork on the "Create" page, the 404 page, and a couple of other spots:

Along with a bunch of small fixes and improvements across the site.

Thanks for your attention and activity, hope you enjoy this update!
