My opinion about the Harry Potter book series

"HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE"

The very beginning of the book (exposition and background) seemed to me too long. To be honest, when I read this book for the first time, I flipped through many pages to get to the main story. Later, when I reread the cycle, I forced myself to read the beginning. But it's boring to me.

As Harry grows up, he receives letters from Hogwarts, written, if memory serves, on behalf of Minerva McGonagall. From that moment on, the book sucked me in. A lot of magic, the adventures of Harry, Ron and Hermione at Hogwarts. And what is only the failed duel between Draco and Harry worth? Wow! I also really enjoyed Harry's first normal Christmas. It's very atmospheric.

The book describes the end more interestingly than the movie. There Ron and Hermione risked their lives helping Harry. Dumbledore also tells Harry at the end of the book about Lily and James (Harry's parents), about Voldemort and about the rest.

Favorite chapters: "Diagon Alley", "Midnight Duel" and "Manhole Jump"

"HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS"

The second book about the boy who survived went much faster for me and without skipping pages at all. Harry is already turning 12 years old, and Potter is being taken from the Dursley Weasley house in the Ford of Arthur Weasley, the head of the Weasley family (although it seems to me that Molly is more suitable for this role).

Ever since Harry Potter returned home for the summer, the Dursleys had become so evil and disgusting that Harry wanted nothing more than to return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But just as he was packing, Harry received a warning from a strange mischievous creature who said that if Harry returned to Hogwarts, trouble would happen.

And it really is. For in Harry's second year at Hogwarts, new torments and horrors arise, including an outrageously arrogant new professor and a spirit that inhabits the women's bathroom. But then the real trouble begins - something attacks the students of Hogwarts, making them motionless like statues. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more venomous opponent than ever? Is it possible that this is Hagrid, whose mysterious past reveals dark secrets? Or it's the one everyone at Hogwarts suspects the most... Harry Potter himself! This is Tom Riddle, who took possession of Ginny

Favorite chapters: "Rattlesnake Willow", "Mudbloods and Voices" and "The Magic Diary"

What is the book, what is the movie "Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban" - my favorite part

Harry Potter was lucky to live to the age of thirteen, because he has repeatedly escaped from the deadly attacks of the formidable Dark Lord. But his hopes for a quiet Quidditch semester are dashed when a homicidal maniac escapes from Azkaban, pursued by dementors who suck out souls and guard the prison. It is believed that Hogwarts is the safest place for Harry. But isn't it a coincidence that he feels like someone is watching him in the dark, and should he take Professor Trelawny's gloomy predictions seriously?

So, my favorite character appears in this book - Sirius Black. He's Harry's godfather. Also, the plot of the book is very interesting for me personally. And the book is read in one go (I actually read it in a day). I really liked that the reader can learn a lot about the past of James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, Lily Evans (aka Potter) and Peter Pittagrew.

Favorite chapters: "The Night Knight Bus", "Marauder's Map" and "Sleepwalker, Tramp, Moose and Tail"

"HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE"

Advantages: a wonderful story about a magical world that everyone should read.

Disadvantages: perhaps the presence of the same infuriating Zhou Chang and Rita Skeeter

"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is one of the most beloved parts of the Harry books. If in the first three parts he is represented by an unintelligent boy with a tousled mop of hair, then in the fourth part he is already a young man, he becomes more mature and serious. I read the first Harry Potter book at the age of 10-12, so you can say that my growing up happened with him.

I liked that new characters appear in this part, that Hogwarts is not the only school of magic, that there are others.

The book is very exciting, you don't know what to expect on the next page, you worry and worry about the characters. I liked putting myself in their shoes, thinking and evaluating how I would act in their place in a given situation.

It is a pity that the wonderful time of growing up, first love, dating and timid kisses is overshadowed by the death and return of the Dark Lord. But even despite such gloom, the book is wonderful, I still sometimes reread it and never stop thanking J.K. Rowling for such wonderful characters and the magical world that she opened to us. I am sure that no generation of children will grow up on these books. And this is just wonderful, children will form the right concepts of good and evil, friendship and betrayal, love, courage, bravery, bravery. In general, everything that will be useful to them in the future. And I am sure that I will let my child read these books exactly when he is the age of Harry Potter, the boy who survived.

Favorite chapters: "Charmbaton and Durmstrang", "The Second task" and "Prior Incantatem"

So, what can I say about the Order of the Phoenix? In this book, Harry is emotionally strung up, constantly on the edge, overwhelmed with anguish, very touchy, and a little hysterical. This has not been observed before, especially in such numbers. This is something that becomes noticeable from the first pages and does not leave until the last! Is it really a transitional age? It's very possible, because our heroes are 15 years old.

According to an established tradition, every school year at Hogwarts there is a new teacher for protection from the dark arts. Well, it's an unlucky subject, something happens to the teacher every time! Maybe he'll stay late this time, at least? But when the students see who will teach them this year, this desire disappears. Professor Umbridge, or Cambridge in the translation of Spivak! Such an ironic version of the name was not surprising, because this lady of toad-like appearance was always chuckling before saying something in a mannered girlish voice. She seemed to be politely attracting attention to herself, but all her "decent manners" were just a mask to cover up a terrible inner essence.

"The Order of the Phoenix" is best remembered for this character, because he is the key here. The Ministry of Magic decided that the headmaster of Hogwarts, Professor Dumbledore, was up to something bad, so they sent Umbridge to monitor him and everything that was happening at the school. She issues strict decrees, decrees and laws, conducts inspections, scares not only students, but also teachers, gradually tightens the screws, and it is absolutely not clear how all this horror can end, and is there a government for it? Moreover, newspapers are also joining the total pressure, dropping false and manipulative articles. This is the preamble to the story, by no means a spoiler. Perhaps this main plot line is of the greatest interest and is most vividly remembered. In addition, it is she who makes the book even less childish, raising difficult topics.

In addition, the adventures of the forester Hagrid cause a lot of emotions. But in previous books, he was constantly getting into some kind of trouble, and it was interesting to watch him :) In more detail, this part covers the story of Snape or Snape, and this is my favorite negative character. It may sound strange, but I always worry about him, it seems to me that he is not as bad as they want to show us through Harry's eyes.

In this part, we can see the continuation of the romantic line between Harry and Zhou. The boy shows his inexperience in matters of the heart and in the interpretation of female behavior, and his friend Hermione helps him with valuable tips. Harry needs to learn subtlety and delicacy. It is also interesting to observe the relationship between Ron and Hermione. In the Order of the Phoenix, a new heroine appears - the mysterious Moon (Luna) Lovegood, the girl is "not of this world."

Hermione's struggle for the rights and freedoms of elves and other oppressed groups continues, but less attention is paid to this in the Order of the Phoenix than in the previous part, The Goblet of Fire. I didn't really like how the evil machinations of the house elf were justified in the end. After all, he was guilty enough. Also, I single out the death of my beloved Sirius Black from the minuses. Oh, how I cried

Favorite chapters: "12 Grimmauld Place", "Percy and the Tramp" and "Snape's Worst Memory"

"HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE"   One day I will stop experiencing events in books and movies so emotionally. Especially in those that I have already read and watched, in which I know the plot and the ending. But apparently it won't be this year and not with this series of books.

So, I have already read the sixth book in the Harry Potter series. The final is close. But this book, as well as after the first reading, made me cry and very violently experience everything that happened to the characters. But let's do without spoilers. If you are equally empathetic, then you will understand what I mean when you read it. Moreover, it did not matter that I know the Harry Potter films almost by heart.

The syllable is beautiful as always. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and all the other characters are in their repertoire. Although it feels like they have grown up significantly. More and more, various love experiences flash through the book. But there was also a place for the main villain.

The plot is sooo interesting. I took a book on a trip to finish reading, and I was just splurging that I didn't think of grabbing the next one, because after finishing reading I want to start the next one right away. Now we'll have to be patient. But maybe it's for the best, emotions will settle down. And reading through blurred tears is not very convenient)

Favorite chapters: "Spider's End", "Malfoy's Zigzag" and "Lord Voldemort's Petition"

Well, the great saga has come to an end again ("HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS"). The last two books, without any hack work, somehow even involuntarily reread. Yes, here the author's fantasy reveals its power to the world in all its breadth. Vast, of course, expanses, although, of course, I would not compare it with Professor Tolkien's universe. Let someone think that "The Hobbit" is also written for children. But I disagree. There are no obvious signs of children's literature.

But despite Rowling's typical plot move in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (the path of suffering, a certain (essentially religious) feat, war), I still really like this part, even if the cross-cutting theme of Dumbledore's personality is less interesting to me here than the similar one in the sixth part concerning Tom Riddle. It can be understood that the feat of Harry Potter is not at all new and original, but this does not make the final part any less powerful. I think this is also because over the course of seven books, Rowling's world has become something of a game of the second "Gothic", when you have studied the topic so well that you could well live there yourself.

And the sign of a beautiful work is the fact that, as we move towards the finale, some inexplicable sadness rolls over. I really don't want to say goodbye to the characters, but also there is no desire to immerse myself in all sorts of sequels, which will invariably be in one form or another. Following the results of the reading, I want to indicate that whatever the result and attitude towards Harry Potter (by the way, I don't like him too much), we have not only an undoubted masterpiece of children's and semi-children's literature, but also, most importantly, all this was created literally before our eyes.

I recommend the seventh book, as well as the previous six, to everyone, especially those who have not read it for reasons of principle. Excellent therapy in terms of escaping from reality.

Favorite chapters: "The Wedding", "The Life and Deceptions of Albus Dumbledore" and "Severus Snape is removed from office"
