Hello, dear friends!
Before describing the add-on, I would like to share some thoughts with you. After the end of the operation, codenamed "Fireman, bring more firewood to the tests," we held a small strategic planning session.
Thinking about how Pikuco should develop and what needs to be paid attention to, we came to the conclusion that it would be useful for the community to diversify the subject matter of the content.
I understand that many of you don't see much point in developing content on unpopular topics on the site, but we believe that this reluctance has mixed up cause and effect.
For example, philosophy content is not in demand because the site does not have a wide crowd of people who are interested in it. But the main reason for this (according to our observations) is that there is no content that this crowd can "come to". An egg can't come without a hen, and a hen can't come without an egg.
Those of you who have been with us for more or less a long time can draw parallels in these observations with some of the popular categories that have gained their audience through the efforts of individual authors.
Therefore, we are now taking a gentle course towards encouraging such authors and will see if we can break this self-contained cycle together.
The first point on our way will be this update.
The best author in the section/tag

Now, on the page of each section and tag, the top 5 authors are displayed according to the total points accumulated on the tests. These points are calculated using a complex formula that takes into account the number of passes and the rating on the tests. The tops are updated once a day, and the authors included in these lists are notified of changes in their positions.

By clicking on the author's button, you can view all his tests from this category or tag.:

In this way, we achieve three goals: we enable authors to understand vacant niches, encourage them, and give ordinary visitors a convenient tool to surf the content they like.
We will understand the effectiveness of such solutions only over time, but the first stone has been laid and I hope that you will be interested in such a development vector.
Thank you for your attention, we will be watching together!
