Spring has come!

07.03.2025
Hello, dear Friends!

As part of my congratulations on the arrival of spring, I decided to collect several recent news items for you in this news.

Some of them you might have already noticed, some might have missed, and the rest appeared only today. Let's start in chronological order.:

Selecting the notification sound

I realized that the standard notification sound from the site might annoy you, so I tried to create the perfect one by interviewing some users.

In the process, it turned out that there can be no perfect sound for everyone, so I have collected 4 diverse sounds and now you have the opportunity to choose. The sound selection window opens in the settings on the Notifications page:

As a bonus, you can choose the sound for notifications and messages separately.

Recent interests

Each user's personal page now displays not only their interests grouped by category, but also their recent passes.:

This way it will be more convenient to understand what the user has been interested in lately, as well as to protect yourself from a bounce if you recently passed an ambiguous test and would like to hide the fact of passing it.

Your number of points in categories and tags

The title speaks for itself: now, next to the top 5 authors in each category and tag, you will see a button with which you can calculate the number of your points on this page.:

This will let you know how close you are to entering the top 5. By the way, clicking again will take you to a page with your own tests for this section or tag.

Subscription Notifications

With this new feature, you will always know who subscribed to you and when, as well as which page the subscription came from:

This way, it will be easier for you to get an idea of what kind of content your fans expect from you.

Filter by categories and tags on the user's page

For those who like to choose their favorite author's tests, we have added a filter by categories and tags to the user's page:

Now you can surf user tests lists even more conveniently!

Redesign of the tops on the main page

Now there will be five participants on the main page in each top, instead of three. At the same time, the interface takes up the same amount of space as before:

Despite the fact that awards will continue to be given only within the top 3, this will be useful for two reasons: first, now the top participant in third place will know who is sneaking up on him from behind, and secondly, more users will get their share of fame, because for the top-4 and the top 5 place on the main page will be a consolation prize.

Rebalancing of awards for tops

It used to be like this: the top winners on the main page get forever tags flying around the avatar, while the winners of the squads competition get the avatar glow effect for a month.

We decided that we need to balance these awards, and now the winners of custom tops will also receive a glow effect for a month, and the winners of squads competitions will receive a new tag for their avatars forever.:

Phew, I think I'm done. I hope you enjoy these updates, I'm always happy to read your opinions in the comments.

With that, I say goodbye, but work continues, so stay tuned and be happy!
